Doting mother Mariah Carey cradles Monroe

She serenaded a 6000-strong crowd at an outdoor concert held at Sirromet Winery, just north of the Gold Coast on Sunday evening. And Mariah Carey was still riding high from her sensational performance as she jetted out of Australia on Monday morning, departing on a private jet from Coolangatta airport. The singer was grinning widely as she boarded the plane, cradling her three-year-old daughter Monroe in her arms.

The adorable toddler was dressed in a pretty floral-patterned sundress which matched her pink framed glasses and the scrunchie in her hair. Meanwhile, Monroe's over-tired twin brother Moroccan was following a few paces behind, slumbering on the shoulders of one of the members of Mariah's entourage. Mariah was dressed for comfort in a simple black maxi dress, wearing her hair in natural curls down her back.

The airport security staff appeared very attentive to the superstar, escorting her right up to the plane's steps. The Hero hit-maker has just wrapped the latest leg of her world tour, The Elusive Chanteuse Show. The 44-year-old diva has been putting on a brave face after it it was revealed that her marriage to Nick Cannon, who is the father of her twins, was over.

The start of Mariah's tour came not long after the news was confirmed, following weeks of speculation about their six-year marriage. Confirming the split, a rep for the superstar told UsWeekly back in August, "Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour." Whereas Cannon told The Insider: "There is trouble in paradise... we have been living in separate houses for a few months."
