Nick's daughter Monroe is already talking marriage

Watch out, boys! Nick Cannon, 36, is one protective dad. The actor recently told Us Weekly that he does not want his 5-year-old daughter, Monroe, with estranged wife Mariah Carey, to date until she's 50. During a campaign shoot for "Why Real Is Rare" by the Diamond Producers Association, the actor told Us, "When she's 48 she can start dating, and that's still a little too young; I might make her wait till 50!"

The America's Got Talent host may have a son-in-law sooner than he expected, though. Cannon revealed to Us that his little girl has already picked out her future husband. A close friend of the family, who Cannon claimed is "a kid ... who is almost her cousin", has apparently stolen his little girl's heart. Monroe told her dad, "We're gonna get married." The comedian did not find the news funny, telling Us, "I'm like, 'What? You have him come talk to me immediately 'cause I don't even know why these conversations are happening"." He added, "I'm actually gonna have to deal with this in reality one day, and I'm so scared."

Though the former Nickelodeon star will be keeping a close eye on his daughter's relationship status, he's giving his 5-year-old son, Moroccan, the green light to date. "My son, I hope he is dating now. I hope he has like three or four girlfriends," the rapper joked.

For now, the father-of-two is just enjoying his kids being kids. Cannon, who celebrated his birthday earlier this month told Us he spent the day flying kites with his adorable twins. "That's like the craziest thing, kids are mesmerized by kite flying," he said. Following his PG birthday celebration, Cannon had a "Hugh Hefner moment" and had a party where the women wore lace and guys wore tuxedos. "It was fly," he concluded of the more risqué celebration.
