Andy Cohen tried to get some information out of Patti LaBelle about her goddaughter Mariah Carey's upcoming wedding to her billionaire fiancé - which is rumored to have been put on hold by the singer. A caller asked, "Do you have any details on her maybe stalling her wedding to James Packer?"
Andy repeats it, saying, "The word is the wedding is stalled Miss Patti, what can you tell us?" Well, Patti pleads the fifth, admits she has "never" met Mariah's other half, but does weigh in on Mariah's financial situation.
"So would you recommend they have a prenup from the start so that they both keep the money separate, right?" Andy asks. "I plead the fifth. Thank God she has her own money, thank God she's marrying him with a little more, maybe. Go girl, go Mariah!" Patti said.
Mariah herself swore the wedding was still on, saying to a group of reporters recently, "We're getting it together, darling. You know what? It takes time. The dress and the whole thing."
While she has yet to announce a date (probably because she has still not finalized her divorce from Nick Cannon), Mariah does says that their hectic schedules have played a part into their planning.
