Mariah Carey to make special concert appearance
KDWB's Last Chance Summer Dance, featuring the hottest artists in contemporary hit music Sunday, September 12 at Canterbury Park, is sold out. Last Chance Summer Dance has sold 25,000 tickets to the largest outdoor pop concert in Twin Cities' history and Minnesota's last major outdoor party of the century. Effective today, concert tickets are only available by winning them on 101.3 FM KDWB.
Monica, 98 Degrees, Christina Aguilera, K-Ci & JoJo, Shaggy, Tyrese and Naughty by Nature are among the national recording artists scheduled to perform. The all-day concert begins at noon and will host nine bands. Def Leppard will headline the evening show that will also feature Fastball.
Last Chance Summer Dance has added a surprise guest to its hit line-up. Superstar Mariah Carey, who is in the Twin Cities recording an album with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, will be making a special appearance. She has never appeared in the Twin Cities. (PRNewswire)
