Mariah makes history

For a long it seemed Mariah would still be this week's number 1 with "The emancipation of Mimi, but in the end Rob Thomas' "Something to be" topples Mariah with 244,955 copies sold. "The emancipation of Mimi" is second with 219,215 copies sold (down 46%) and Mike Jones' "Who is Mike Jones?" is at number three with 186,221 copies sold. Last week's number 2, Mudvayne's "Lost and found", is now at number 11 with 56,703 copies sold (down 62%).

The exclusive MSN online premiere of Mariah's "We belong together video", the second single from "The emancipation of Mimi", was the biggest video premiere MSN has ever had to date, with over 1.1 million video streams in 10 days. On AOL's music top 11 song chart, "We belong together" remains at number 1 with 2,974,234 million plays.
