Mariah on Extra and Access Hollywood
Extra and Access Hollywood were backstage at Radio City Music Hall to get Mariah's reactions after receiving the award for "Celebrity Legs of a Goddess" and being named Gillette's official spokeswoman for 2006. When a colossal pair of her ultra sexy legs were enshrined infront of New York's Radio City Music Hall, Mariah joked "Just when you thought my hem lines couldn't get any shorter."
But Mariah wouldn't confirm rumors that she took out a whopping one billion dollars insurance policy on her lovely legs. "I'll never tell. If you did insure your legs, for whatever amount of money, especially a billion dollars, I don't think it's the wisest thing in the world to go and talk about it. Yeah, you'd be like in the house rubbing cream on your legs constantly, never leave it."
A touching moment occured this morning. Katie Couric departed "Today" after 15 years on the show. She'll become anchor and managing editor of the "CBS Evening News" in September. Mariah presented Katie a parting gift, a butterfly trinket. ""I think they are very pretty but also symbolize freedom and kind of evolving and obviously this is a new stage in her life so I thought it would be something nice," Mariah explained.
