Nick Cannon: pregnancy is "spiritual" for Mariah Carey
Last Thursday, Mariah Carey finally addressed rumors of her pregnancy with her own short statement, thanking fans for "well wishes" but noting she is "very superstitious". "I think 'superstitious' might be the wrong word," her husband Nick Cannon told UsMagazine.com at Sunday's Arthur Ashe Kids' Day tennis event in Flushing, New York.
"I think it's more of a spiritual thing," Cannon, 29, explained. "Like trying to stay true and stay private for as long as you possibly can. She wants to keep as much privacy as she possibly can." Cannon continued to be mum about any baby-to-be. "She'll talk when she’s ready to talk," the America's Got Talent host said of Carey, 41. But Carey is "working" on an album in L.A. and feeling "good", Cannon assured reporters.
Cannon would love to be a dad. "I love kids," he said. "I'm all about kids. I'm a big kid!" Would Cannon welcome twins? "Yeah! Octomom. Nine kids at once," he joked. "Whatever happens, whatever life God blesses you with, you have to take it and appreciate it." (Us Magazine)
