Mariah Carey thinks it's "super sweet" that Britney Spears wrote about her in The Woman in Me. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, the "We Belong Together" singer, 54, reflected on hearing she was included in the pop star's new memoir when Jimmy Kimmel brought it up.
"By the way, Britney Spears wrote about you in her book. Did you know that?" the host, 55, asked Carey. "I heard something about it," Carey said about being mentioned in the book, before Kimmel responded: "Do you want to know what she wrote? But don't worry, it's good. It's not bad." "I love her," the pop icon said of Spears.
Kimmel then read a passage where Spears describes how Carey was using ring lights years before they were popular before asking his guest: "Is it true about the ring lights? You had one in 2003?"
"Of course, I had a ring light," the "Touch My Body" performer replied. "By the way, I wasn't like 'I love a ring light.' By the way, I like a ring light when you cover the bottom edge of the ring light, because for me I don't like under lighting. It's very specific." She added: "By the way, that was super sweet what Britney said about me."
