Mariah goes house-hunting in Ireland
Melons in Ireland? At this time of year? Madness. But not so - for Mariah Carey is shopping for a house in the Republic. The singer has told estate agents in Co Wicklow that she wants to buy a huge house in the bosom of the Emerald Isle. And she hopes to have her new pad by the summer.
A pal of the star said: "Mariah loves Ireland. She spent time there last year and really fell for it. She has Irish blood through her mother's side of the family so it makes sense she should move there. She'll fit in really well."
