Mariah announces she's "excited to be back in Australia"
Mariah Carey is going to make her fans in Australia extremely happy very soon. The diva announced her arrival at Gold Coast on Saturday for several shows in the country. Looking to sing to the masses before she has to be committed to spending time in Hollywood for American Idol, the diva rushed across the Pacific Ocean for her fans.
"G'day Gold Coast. So excited to be back in Australia, I can't wait to see you all at the shows," tweeted Mariah Carey from her official Twitter account on Saturday. The long flight probably made her pretty tired as it takes hours to cross the ocean.
While the shows are already highly anticipated, it appears Mariah Carey's announcement has everyone just a bit more excited. Letting her fans know she left America a day earlier, it appears that arriving at her destination will make everyone appreciate the effort she made over the holidays to travel to Australia.
