When you're hungry and away from home, you're likely going to spend money to quickly satisfy your grumbling tummy. We just hope when the urge to eat hits, you don't do what these Barclays bankers did and rack up a $62,700 bill on your company's dime.
Depending on how you go about satisfying your need to eat, your wallet could be barely affected, or you could make a big dent in your finances. The following celebrities did the latter. But then again, money isn't all that much of an issue for these A-listers (and a B-lister or two). Here are 13 celebrities who spent an insane amount of money on food.
1. Justin Bieber
The Biebster knows how to eat. He and his entourage have a long history of spending a lot of cash on food. Back in 2014, E! News reported he spent $241 on movie theater snacks. He is also said to have shelled out $240 for a fast food Mexican meal that same year. That order included 13 steak tacos, nine chicken tostadas, and 10 bottles of water. One of Bieber's most outrageous food bills is a whopping $10,000 for Chinese takeout.

2. Mariah Carey
It's no secret songstress Mariah Carey likes to spend. This is allegedly one of the reasons her engagement to billionaire James Packer ended abruptly. Carey is said to eat capers and Norwegian salmon three times a day, every day. Vanity Fair estimates at a cost of $10 a meal, three times a day, 365 days a year, that would cost her about $11,000 a year. E! News also reports Carey is a big fan of Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood. It estimates Carey would spend roughly $1,500 on dinner for her and eight friends.
3. Amber Heard
Johnny Depp's ex-wife Amber Heard puts down a lot of cash to keep her house stocked with food and her stomach full. Court documents revealed Heard spends about $2,000 a month on groceries and other household items, as well as $2,000 a month on eating out, according to Entertainment Tonight. The actress said her average monthly income is $10,000. However, her spending doesn't keep pace with her salary. In the documents she claimed her monthly expenses total $43,700.
4. Mike Tyson
Legendary boxer Mike Tyson spent roughly $200,000 on food a year - for his three Bengal tigers. These pampered pets probably ate a lot better than most humans. Tyson doesn't have the Bengals anymore due to their huge size and the cost of upkeep, reported E! News. Perhaps he'll look into getting some smaller pets with lower monthly costs.
5. Jonathan Cheban
All those reality TV appearances are making Jonathan Cheban really hungry. It's tough to be in the limelight all day, so he decided to treat himself to a couple of meals out. The only thing is, Cheban, Kim Kardashian's best friend and frequent guest on Keeping up with the Kardashians, has been treating himself a little too much. The New York Post reported the reality star racked up $56,000 in restaurant bills during his stay in London.
6. Britney Spears
When you're a famous star, you don't have much time to cook. Sometimes eating out or hiring a personal chef becomes a necessary evil once you reach a certain point in your career. However, pop star Britney Spears seems to eat out a lot. One report found Spears spends almost $5,000 a month on eating out. Her entertainment budget is also more than $100,000 a month.
7. Mark Cuban
This shark spares no expense when it comes to dining. The Dallas Mavericks' owner partied the night away back in 2011 after the Mavericks beat the Miami Heat. As a result of all that partying, Fox Sports reported he ended up with a bill of $110,000. Most of his cash was spent on a large $90,000 bottle of Ace of Spades Champagne. Cuban must have been feeling generous that night - he left a $20,000 tip.
8. Beyoncé
Beyoncé sure knows how to stay properly nourished. She understands the importance of eating a balanced diet. The "Drunk in Love" singer reportedly shells out $7,500 a month for a live-in chef to make her meals. She is also reported to have a dietician who gets paid a maximum of $4,000 a month (the fee varies depending upon diet changes).
9. Shaquille O'Neal
Shaquille O'Neal is a big spender who is serious about his food. Court filings from his divorce revealed his lavish lifestyle. Among the big expenses is a $12,775 monthly food bill. The paperwork also showed monthly spending of about $110,505 for vacations, $46,500 for child care, $23,950 for clothes and laundry, $60,417 for gifts, $24,300 for gas, and about $468,245 for mortgage payments on three houses.
10. Liza Minnelli
Weddings can be expensive. One major cost of holding a fabulous wedding celebration is food and drinks. And when Liza Minnelli planned her wedding to late music producer David Gest, she pulled out all the stops. One of their over-the-top purchases was a $40,000, 12-tier wedding cake decorated with sterling-silver leafed stripes and red and purple sugar roses.
11. Donnie Wahlberg
Whenever Donnie Wahlberg visits a restaurant, the servers are extremely happy. That's because the big spender knows how to leave a decent tip. A recent visit to Waffle House garnered a lot of media attention and for good reason. Once the movie star was done with his meal, he left a $2,000 tip - for a meal that cost him $82.60. Talk about a satisfied customer.
12. Linda Hogan
Divorce filings from Hulk and Linda Hogan revealed some extravagant spending. Court papers showed she spent roughly $1,247 at restaurants. Each month, she also spent about $801 for personal grooming services, $2,464 on lawn and pool maintenance, $1,374 for pet expenses, and $102 on postage and stationery. The cost for her legal and accounting fees was $17,840 a month.
13. Kanye West
Some people consider candy to be a major food group. Kanye West must be one of them. And from the looks of a recent outing, it appears he really likes his candy. The rapper was spotted with his family at Dylan's Candy Bar, stocking up on Skittles and lollipops, among other sweet treats. At the end of his shopping spree with wife, Kim Kardashian, and baby North, the bill came up to a total of $200, according to TMZ.
