Mariah Carey will bring her "All I Want For Christmas is You" tour to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center this fall, the venue announced Tuesday. Carey will perform in Bethlehem on Monday, November 20 at 8 p.m. Tickets cost from $89.50 to $150 and go on sale Friday, October 6 at 10 a.m. A pre-sale for "Music Insider" members will take place Thursday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more at sandseventcenter.com.
One of the all-time best-selling recording artists, Carey will put on a Christmas-themed show anchored by her mega-popular holiday hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You", which was released almost 23 years ago and went on to sell more than $14 million copies. The set will also feature her renditions of classics like "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and "O Holy Night".
Carey is known for her impressive five-octave range, and is third best-selling female recording artist in the United States, with 64 million certified records sold, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. She is reported to have sold more than 200 million records worldwide. Her most recent full-length studio record was 2014's extravagantly titled "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse," which debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Carey joins a fall line-up lineup at Sands Bethlehem Event Center that includes rock bands like Paramore, Evanescence and Third Eye Blind; bestselling singers like Gladys Knight and Janet Jackson; comedians like Kevin James and Margaret Cho; and stage versions of popular TV shows like "The Price is Right" and "So You Think You Can Dance."
