Boy (I Need You)
Hitting the No.17 spot, Miss Carey returns to the Pops accompanied with her brand new best bud - rap ruffian Cam'Ron. "Boy (I Need You)" is the second single from her latest album "Charmbracelet" and is a remake of Cam's "Oh Boy". Describing the video as "kind of like Japanese pop - Speed Racer meets Hello Kitty meets me and Cam'Ron", Mariah travelled to some of the most busiest areas of Japan to film this little baby.
However, hampered by Carey crazy crowds, the crew were forced to shut down at the first location and only managed to get a feeble 30 seconds of footage, all in the drizzling rain. Oh boy. Have no fear of that this Friday, though, Mariah worshippers. Safe behind the gates and under the roof of the Top of the Pops studio, nothing's gonna stop her this time.
