Mariah's short stop in Sweden
The worldstar Mariah Carey told Expressen how much she looked forward to coming to Sweden. Last night she came, saw the rain and turned away immediately. The superdiva decided that a luxury weekend in Milan was better.
Superstar Mariah Carey flew to Stockholm the night between Thursday and Friday right after a concert in Russia. She arrived just after midnight and then left for her hotel. The singer had planned to stay a couple of days in Stockholm: "It will be alot of fun, I want to have the chance to meet my friends and shop," she told Expressen when we spoke to her a couple of weeks ago."
Mariah asked us for several shopping advices on where she could find Swedish designers and later explained that she has been looking forward to coming to Sweden. But when she got here, she grew tired quickly. She checked herself into the hotel and left. During the foggy morning hours Mariah decided to cancel all her plans in Stockholm and instead fly directly to Milan, where this year's fashion week is going on. There she attended Versaces exclusive spring/summerline which was surely much more luxurious than a weekend in Sweden.
Before Mariah jumped into her car, she stood by the entrance of Grand Hotel and greeted her waiting fans. She signed pictures, records, accepted gifts and gave us a dashing smile. "See you on Sunday." According to our sources, Mariah will arrive to Stockholm again early tomorrow morning to prepare herself for her concert in the Globe, a part of her ongoing world tour.
