"U make me wanna" update
This week "U Make Me Wanna" matches the peak of "What Would You Do" on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart (#57). It is at the same position on the corresponding airplay chart.
As of today, the single has accumulated a little over 10 million audience impressions from the 337 total spins it has received from radio stations across the country (233 spins at urban outlets, 98 spins at rhythmic outlets, and 6 spins at pop outlets).
To debut on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, a radio-only single needs about 15 million audience impressions. At the current rate "U Make Me Wanna" is rising, the song should appear on the Hot 100 within the next two weeks.
As of right now, most stations are simply playing the song directly from Jadakiss's album, but they should be receiving promotional singles soon. The initial pressings of the promos have already turned up on eBay on both CD and vinyl. The album version and radio edit are available on both formats, and an instrumental version is available exclusively on the vinyl single. (Mariah Daily)
