Celebrities' fashions you can afford
Is the recession hitting celebrities? Forget pricey labels, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson and Frieda Pinto have gone from super chic to crazy cheap. So it seems even stars are curbing their spending and stepping out with affordable fashions. During this economic downturn has the fashion world created its own bailout plan: H&M, American Apparel, and (gasp!) Duane Reade?
Victoria, Beyonce, Mariah, Jessica and Frieda are beautiful, rich and stylish - but they don't always spend a fortune to look like a million bucks. They are among the stars who have sported discount duds on the red carpet. For instance, Mariah Carey wore a $36 American Apparel dress and accessorized it with a Gucci bag.
