Mariah Carey unveils new album title via Twitter
Mariah Carey has unveiled the name of her next studio album via Twitter. The singer told fans she was using the micro-blogging website to launch the release because she loved them. "I want you to be the first to know the title of my new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel," Carey wrote. She added: "It's very personal and dedicated to you."
Carey, 39, didn't reveal any more details about Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, although it's been reported she is working with producer and solo The-Dream. The songwriter collaborated with the singer on her last studio album, E=MC2, in 2008. The record debuted at number three on the UK album chart and number one in America.
Carey's total of six number one albums in the US means she is now tied with Janet Jackson for the third most Number Ones by a female artist ever. (Mirror)
