Mariah Carey melody (42,458) by Darryle from USA Can anyone tell me how to post a video on the messageboard? I found a really cool video of Mariah songs but don't know how to post videos. It would be greatly appreciated. (Thursday 3 April 2014; 12:46)

MJ album (42,419) by Darryle from USA MJ has a new album coming May 13th. Hearing this has really put into perspective how much promo is going into Mariah's album. Both albums have been in the making for about the same time yet MJ is still doing more promo and his comes out after Mariah's. You'd think Mariah could a least do a pre order on iTunes or a title/tracklist. We don't have any of those things yet MJ and albums coming out in June do. I don't want to sound like I want Mariah to rush things because I don't. But for real the albums out in 37 days and we've gotten no info on it. (Tuesday 1 April 2014; 8:25)

First time I heard Mariah (42,350) by Darryle from USA The first time I heard Mariah was the song "It's like that". I was 5 when it came out and I remember blasting everywhere I went. In the car, on the way to school, everywhere. After that song I lost touch and didn't hear from her until Obsessed and I became obsessed with that song. But I lost touch after that too. Luckily I found TAOLG, after that I became an official lamb. My first album was Butterfly. (Thursday 27 March 2014; 13:38)

Nick (42,332) by Darryle from USA I don't understand all the Nick hate. I mean, I agree he shouldn't share details like their marriage is kept alive with lots if sex, but other than that he's cool. I think he's perfect for Mariah because they balance each other out. Nick is loose, open, and fun and Mariah is serious and fairly reserved with her personal life. Nick brings out the fun Mariah that you'd see in videos like "Touch my body" or "Obsessed". Mariah brings out the serious business man in Nick the guy you'd see running Nickelodeon or hosting the Halo Awards. They're a match made in heaven. (Wednesday 26 March 2014; 12:10)

Personal management (42,259) by Darryle from USA Has anyone notcied that almost all of Mariah's management has been someone close to her that she was friends with. She needs to stop that because it almost always backfires because that person never says no to her. The only one that kind of worked was Tommy and that failed when they separated. Randy didn't work and Jermaine isn't working. The best one was Benny Medina. They weren't friends so she wasn't comfortable so he did what was best not what she wanted. Does anyone know why she fired Benny Medina? He gets fired from like everybody he manages. Brandy, JLO, Mariah, Usher. (Friday 21 March 2014; 4:05)

State of Mariah's voice (42,251) by Darryle from USA Mariah's voice is really on/off all the time now. Sometimes she's on her A game, other times she doesn't even have game. There are so many reasons why. Some say she got vocal nodules which would suck, let's hope not. [censored] But really it's probably a bit of all of them. Mariah can improve her voice a lot if she takes care of it. All she has to do is sing in her mid/lower register more instead of busting a whistle and belt in every song, [censored] and finally vocal rest. Unfortunately if Mariah has got vocal nodules. There would be no real way to fix it. If she does have it she's probably really scared because she'd only have 2 options. 1. Have surgery and get them removed which could kill her voice and she'd be like Julie Andrews. 2. Keep them and deal the best she can. Whatever the problem is I hope she can get it fixed because I'd hate for her to go out known for lip syncing everything. (Thursday 20 March 2014; 11:11)

Best/worst album covers and singles (42,218) by Darryle from USA Best album covers 1. Butterfly: She looks amazing and it's simple without being boring. 2. Mariah Carey: She looks so young and pretty. 3. Daydream: I love the black and white. I like how they put her on one side of the cover instead of the center. Worst album covers 1. Glitter: To much happening, the tiny shimmers and city in the background distract from Mariah. 2. Charmbracelet: This ones not bad but smile or frown whatever it is is sorta off putting she's not smiling but not frowning. 3. MOAIA: Her boob shadow is very distracting and I don't get the point of the three Mariah's. Best single covers 1. Dream Lover: I love her hair and the pose with her eyes closed makes it look so natural. 2. Through the rain: I also love her hair in this picture and the vine was a really nice touch because otherwise it would have been boring. 3. Vision of love: That pose is an iconic Mariah pose. Plus I really like the microphone. Worst single covers 1. Triumphant (get 'em): I don't like her hair. In fact I don't really like her hair when it's straight period. Also she looks way too tan and airbrushed. 2. #Beautiful: She looks fine in the picture, I just think it's really lazy to reuse a scene from the video as a cover. 3. Heartbreaker: The words look funny stretched across her boobs and her face makes her look like she's trying to hard to be sexy. (Wednesday 19 March 2014; 8:36)

Promo (42,182) by Darryle from USA Since it seems the promo for YM(E) has ended I started thinking about promo for the album and what Mariah could do. For starters she should drop a single sometime this month. The single I'm assuming is going to be Thirsty because it's all she talks about when mentioning the album. Then drop a video with an actual storyline on a music video show like 106 and Park or MTV/VH1. Then perform the single live more than once. After she's drummed up interest in the album with the single she should do something like she did with TAOLG. Live chat with fans and answer questions about the journey or give insight on some songs from the album. But this time she should do a YouTube video chat so that she can talk and say as she pleases. After the live chat she should put the album up for preorder on iTunes along with a first listen. Then from there on out just do regular promo like sit down interviews and radio with the occasional live performance. (Tuesday 18 March 2014; 10:18)

Insecurities (42,099) by Darryle from USA People keep bringing up Mariah's insecurities and saying she should try to fix them and stuff. Well she is, she's said so herself she knows she's insecure and she tries really hard to fix it but it is hard for her. And I believe it's hard for her. She's always been insecure. When she was little her race then the whole time she was with Tommy they said things like only show her left profile because your right one is ugly. When you're around that type of negativity for so long it's hard to get rid of. I honestly doubt Mariah's gonna get rid of hers. (Friday 14 March 2014; 11:21)

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (41,951) by Darryle from USA I know this is random but why hasn't Mariah been inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame yet? I think she should be. She's got the talent, she's set the records, and so much more. I know she's not very rock but she's done rock (Bringin' on the heartbreak, The one, and You need me). Mariah's dress (41,870) by Darryle from USA I think one major reason why people are turned off from Mariah is because of the way she dresses. It's the same way with Beyonce, people think she dresses like a sl*t so they don't like her. While Mariah dresses classier than Beyonce it's still a problem. I think she should go back to Butterfly era dress. During that time she showed more skin but it was classy and not completely revealing, just a little boob and leg here and there. You would think as she got older she would gradually put on more clothes, but all she does it lose them. (Friday 28 February 2014; 13:59)

BET Honors (41,869) by Darryle from USA I know this is late but I got a non lambs opinion of the performance. I asked my mom who is unfortunately not a lamb what she thought of YME on BET Honors. She said that Mariah is too old to be dressing like she is and that she's almost naked compared to a lot of other people at the show. On the song she said that should could definitely hold a note and that she sounded good. This pretty much sums up what the general population is saying. Nicki fued (41,865) by Darryle from USA I know Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj used to be friends like back in 2010 when they redid Up Out My Face. But what happened? They were friends then on AI they were enemies. Can someone fill me in on why and how this happened. (Friday 28 February 2014; 10:53)

Image (41,818) by Darryle from USA Mariah's image is tarnished and she needs to do something to make it better. I saw a Yahoo article judging BET Honor performances. Not only was Mariah's 7 out of 10 but the comments were really negative. A bunch of people said her outfit was inappropriate for the event and she was lip synching. This is a bad sign. Mariah's losing respect in this industry even though I don't want to say so she is. And she needs to do something to gain that respect back. As for clothing wise Mariah could try for the sexy thing without show all of her boob. Go back to the era of Butterfly, it was sexy without trying to hard to be sexy. And as for singing I know it was at least mostly live. But to really pursuae people so that they know for a fact it's live she should go on vocal rest for as long as she needs to so she can sing the song fully live. And stop with the back tracks and just go back to back up singers because all back track does is make people think your lip synching. (Thursday 27 February 2014; 10:45)

Charts (41,812) by Darryle from USA YME is #88 on Billboard' Hot 100. I'm going to give it a month or two before I decide it's a hit or flop commercially. To me it's a hit but to the general population obviously not. Mariah, you've got to do something to get the general population interested in this song. (Thursday 27 February 2014; 7:52)

Frustrated (41,766) by Darryle from USA I'm frustrated that people keep saying Mariah has had 5 failing singles. 1. Triumphant was intended to be a single but wasn't because the album need more work so it was like a preview. 2. Almost Home isn't even going to be on the album most likely because it was made for the "O the great and powerful" soundtrack. 3. TAOLG was something to hold the fans over since Mariah hadn't released in a long time. It wasn't an actual single since it didn't hit radio. 4. #Beautiful wasn't a fail, it was a moderate hit and would have been bigger but had negative press surrounding the lip synching Mariah did while performing it. 5. YME hasn't been out long enough to be called a flop so... (Wednesday 26 February 2014; 10:39)

The album (41,764) by Darryle from USA On Mariah's Wiki page it said she was working with people like Da Brat, DJ Clue, Walter Afanasieff, Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, James "Big Jim" Wright, Hit-Boy, and The-Dream. When I read this I get really excited. Now my expectations for the album are so much higher because she's working people who have produced or co wrote some of her biggest hits. I'm sure in the process of working one of these people made a #1 hit. All Mariah has to do is use it for her next single. (Wednesday 26 February 2014; 10:34)

Charts (41,762) by Darryle from USA YME is not doing well on the charts at all. I think the problem is promo. Yeah Mariah did a lot of promo for this single but it wasn't the right format. It was lots of radio interviews. That's not what gets a song popular, you need live performances and radio. She cancelled The View performance and the BET Honors isn't a big enough format. She needs Oscars or Grammys or even Good Morning America. Plenty of people debut songs up there. I think Mariah's not doing live performances because this wasn't intended to be the hit from the album. I think Mariah just wanted to release something for Valentine's Day and this was perfect. I also think it was for buzz people are talking now. About the album, single, and video. I think the real hit single will be after this and I have hope it's something produced by Hit Boy or Mike Will Made It. Those are people that are big among the general population in music right now. BET Honors (41,703) by Darryle from USA I just watched the BET Honors and I think Mariah's performance may have been live possibly. I doubt it though most likely it was a pre recorded track because it differed slightly from the studio version. Even if it was live though I think she should have done more. Like get of the piano or add lib don't stick completely to the original because people will think you're lip syncing which they already do. On a side note, I think the background video playing while Mariah was singing should have been used as the music video instead of the one she actually did. (Tuesday 25 February 2014; 13:15)
