About G.G. from USA: Lamb for life

Re. Perez Hilton (42,640) by G.G. from USA
Perez Hilton never has anything nice to say about MC. Before he "changed" and stopped being a bully (according to him), he used to say horrible things about Mariah. He called her various names. He is not a nice person.

Album (42,616) by G.G. from USA
I am more than ready for some information about this album. Tracklist, cover photo, etc. We have 22 days until its release. I don't believe this will be MC's last album. I think she will sign a huge deal with another record label. Maybe with Epic, since that's where L.A. Reid is the CEO. MC is not done, she has a lot more to say.

I think why you got all the thumbs down is because your message came across as rude and condescending.

My thoughts (42,530) by G.G. from USA
I see that Mariah is in the studio with Fabolous still working. If the album is coming out May 6th, then she'll have to turn it in pretty soon. By the 18th or 25th of April, I would think. As far as criticizing Mariah, there is a nice way of doing it. I don't agree with all her choices and don't love all of her songs (Triumphant). It's ok to not agree with everything someone says and does. It doesn't mean you don't love them and support them. As far as management goes, she needs someone who isn't her friend to manage her. Randy, Jermaine etc. She needs a no nonsense business person behind the scenes. Just because someone is your friend, doesn't mean they're qualified to run your business/brand.

Picture MC posted (42,485) by G.G. from USA
It says, To Love Me in quotation marks. Perhaps it's a line form the new song? I also noticed that she posted a pic of her shoes and someone else's, she tagged Fabolous in the picture. She might be doing a song for his new music.

Listening session confusion (42,473) by G.G. from USA
How do you have a listening session for radio directors and DJ's from around the country and not let them hear any music from the new album? That makes no sense at all. Surely she let them hear something new. Otherwise they went to NYC to sit in a room with her for what?

I think May 6th is gonna happen (42,450) by G.G. from USA
Jermaine just posted on Twitter. All Lambs should change there screen names to May 6th.

Listening session (42,444) by G.G. from USA
I just saw pictures on different sites of Mariah arriving to the listening session in NYC. I can't wait to hear the reviews and first impressions from the people invited.

Listening session (42,422) by G.G. from USA
I just read on an MC Facebook fan page that there is a listening session tomorrow in NYC for MC's new cd. Can anyone confirm this?

Nicks interview (42,382) by G.G. from USA
Yes, I did see and hear the entire interview. It was crude and tacky. Nick could've simply declined to answer the questions out of respect for Mariah, his wife. I don't care what the circumstances are. To say you f*** the s*** out of your wife in an interview is tacky and crude. It's also disrespectful to talk about all the famous women you've slept with prior to your wife. In my opinion, it made him sound like a gold digger. I liked Nick, until I watched that interview.

Nicks radio interview (42,370) by G.G. from USA
Did anyone else catch the radio interview that Nick did where he was talking about sleeping with Kim Kardashian and then went on to say that on his and Mariah's honeymoon, he "f***** the s*** of her". That is just tacky and gross. If I was her, I would be really ticked off.

Release date (42,241) by G.G. from USA
I will be so mad if she and or IDJ delays the album again. She's been working on this album for what, 4 or 5 years? That is plenty of time to create a great album. Something we are unaware of is going on, either with Mariah or the label or a combination of the two. The album was supposed to be released July 2013. If she pushes it back again, that'll be an entire year delay. I'm a little worried but I'm trying to stay optimistic.

Re: Carla (42,108) by G.G. from USA
You can love and support someone and not like everything they do. I hated Triumphant and I did not buy it. I am not spending my money on a song I feel is garbage. I also am an expert, an expert in what I like. I listen to all types of music. I don't need a degree in music theory in order to know whether or not I like a song. Constructive criticism is what makes people better, some people are just not good at taking the constructive criticism. I'm afraid that MC has surrounded herself with people who only say yes to her. That's not good. This is, after all, the music business. If you can't sell records you will get dropped from your label and that would be humiliating.

You're Mine remix (42,060) by G.G. from USA
I noticed a conversation on Twitter between MC and Joey Arbagey regarding another remix. I messaged him on Facebook and he said there is another remix on the way from him. I liked the remixes he did for MC of Triumphant.

New album (42,046) by G.G. from USA
All I can say is that It's Like That wasn't a huge hit, but then we got The Emancipation Of Mimi. I agree with what others have said, I want some up-tempo numbers from Mariah. Like it or not, dance music is the in thing. MC can do R&B and still collaborate with some EDM or dance producers (not just on remixes). Avicii, David Guetta, Calvin Harris etc. I think all types of music can have soul/be soulful. It's time for some Pop recordings to get in the top 10 and get people (the general public) intrigued as to what the album is all about. Then she'll hook them with her amazing song writing skills and voice.

Twitter (42,017) by G.G. from USA
Did anyone else see the exchange between a lamb and Jermaine? Yes, 20YO may have gone platininum, but (as a Janet fan) I don't even remember that album. Not good. [See Jermaine's Twitter account for the conversation.]

Interview and career (41,853) by G.G. from USA
Anyone else catch in the interview with DJ Suss-One that there's a song called Kick Rocks that might be on the album. From what I gathered from the conversation, it's a song that might've been recorded a long time ago. Suss said that he heard it and liked it. I will be happy if she gets a few top 5 or top 10 hits with this album, getting her name out there again, then moves to the new label (who will promote her properly) and then pow a number one hit.

I Know What You Want (41,797) by G.G. from USA
Did you know Mariah Carey actually recorded the whole bridge of I Know What You Want but Busta's vocals were used instead for the first half?

BET performance (41,728) by G.G. from USA
I liked it. I think that it was live-ish. It didn't sound exactly like the single, which tells me she did another recording or she sang partially live. I think that it looked real. I don't mind a performer lip syncing as long as it looks real. I wish she would move on stage like she used to. You could see the emotion when she would move around more.

Tracklist / hair / music business (41,655) by G.G. from USA
I don't think the tracklisting is all that accurate. The producers on the songs don't go together. YME was produced by Rodney Jerkins, and it says The Dream. Regarding her hair; I 100% think it's time for a different color, length and style for MC. Something fresh and new. Shorter for sure, she can always put in extensions from time to time if she wants. I think her hair needs to be a little darker. She's had the bleached blonde style forever now. I think that if she does release the Stevie Wonder track as a single it should be the last single off the album. I can almost bet my life that a Stevie Wonder collaboration will not chart well. I do care about the charts. If Mariah keeps releasing singles that don't chart well she won't get a good deal with a new label when she leaves IDJ, and worse, she might get dropped from the new label if her singles don't chart. That would not be a good look for her.

Re DayDream 327 (41,603) by G.G. from USA
Re DayDream 327: "Also I think she needs to branch out out of her comfort zone." Exactly. Sometimes people's best works come from them doing things outside their comfort zones. I completely agree. You can be yourself and still try new things. I, personally, would love for Mariah to do an EDM record with Calvin Harris, Daft Punk, Avicii etc., and show the world that EDM can have soul.
