About Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands: Mariah fan since 1993.

Re: The Art Of Letting Go cover (39,592) (39,593) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Am I missing something? Most fans like/love the cover, only two fans have criticized the cover. So I think you're overreacting when you say "I come on here to a bunch of critics".

Zipper (39,545) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Is it a good or a bad thing the zipper couldn't go further down?

The Art Of Letting Go - Mikaila (39,503) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
"The art of letting go" is also a song by Mikaila. It was a bonus track on the Japanese release of her self-titled debut album.

You claim to know alot no one else knows, but you don't want to reveal your sources. You make it look like you're very close to her, when in fact you're just making things up. No, you're "not a delusional fan", you're just an idiot. Oops, I just broke one of my own rules.

Harddisk crash (39,223) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Due to a crash of the harddisk of the server, MCArchives was temporarily offline. Maybe the harddisk has to be replaced, so there is a chance this site will be offline again soon. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Mariah's nail polish collection inspired by holiday album (39,173) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
"They may not want a lot for Christmas, but hardcore Mariah Carey fans will probably put the songbird's new nail polish collection at the top of their wish list this holiday season." Really? I consider myself a hardcore fan and I'm sick and tired of all this jewelry, perfumes, shoes, nail polish and the other rubbish Mariah tries to sell us. I just want a new album, and hopefully way before Christmas.

Re: Bad songs on good albums (39,121) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Maybe I'm weird, but I think Rainbow is Mariah's best album and Did I Do That is the best song on that album. My all time favourite Mariah song by far is Everything Fades Away. That's the song I want to be played on my funeral.

Ben Margulies (39,104) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
It's very unlikely Ben and Mariah will ever work together again. In this biography you can read why: Much had changed in their relationship since the release of her first album. She now found that his back was turned to her. Not long after Mariah and Ben had teamed up, Mariah had impulsively signed a contract with Ben that would entitle him to half the proceeds she made from any recordings involving his material. With the success of the debut album, he was already making substantial money off the songwriting royalties. But now, Ben was uncharacteristically pushing for more, what he felt was his contractually. The conversations between the writing partners were not angry, but they were strained at times. Ben quietly pointed out that she had agreed to the terms of the contract, and that he had not twisted her arm. Mariah did not deny she had willingly signed the contract but felt that Ben was asking for too much and tried to persuade him to not press the issue. He refused. At that point, Sony's lawyers stepped in, and after a long and often bitter court battle that dragged on for over a year, both sides reportedly agreed that Ben would receive ten percent of Mariah's earnings over the next ten years. Mariah would look back on the falling out with Ben as a painful learning experience. "Be careful what you sign," she said in a Q magazine interview. "I heard that a thousand times. But when you're struggling, you still do it. I blindly signed." In the aftermath of the court battle, Ben would discuss the situation diplomatically, putting the lion's share of the blame on the record label and saying that he hoped Mariah and he would work together again in the future. "Hopefully, art will prevail over business," he said. The reality was that a five-year friendship and creative partnership that had produced some wonderful music had been destroyed. The two never worked together again.

Antone (37,852) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
"It's sad when a group of fans get on a fan site and state how much they hate the artist they are commenting on." Nobody ever wrote they hate Mariah. I wouldn't allow that. Maybe they wrote they dislike something Mariah did, or somerthing she sang, or something she wore, but they never said they hated Mariah.

How can you blame Nick Cannon for the "failure" of Almost Home? It seems to me you have some personal problems with Nick. And yes, you sound like a I-know-it-all.

Is it so hard to write Nicki's name right? I've seen Niki and Nikki, next someone writes her name as Nick.

Disappearing posts (36,177) by Rod from Philippines (36,179) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
There is a simple reason why your messages won't be posted: you're not following my rules and you're very rude towards Stacey.
