I have watched many videos about this topic and it appears that almost everyone who is "in the spotlight" has been "programmed" in some way. It is very strange and almost unbelievable, but I am an open minded person, so I always leave the possibility open that anything is possible. I am truly worried about Mariah's voice. If it's true that she is already working in the studio, then that means she is not resting her voice at all. I don't see how she is going to heal her instrument if she is doing this. The performance was not bad, but it's not what we are used to. We are used to the long smooth vocals, not this "choppy" singing. I am really not a fan of this style. It's ok once in a while for an accent or something but not through the whole song. I don't think her voice is going to be able to hold on through all this singing in the studio and then Vegas show after show. It's really sad to me. She doesn't seem to be too concerned. I haven't been able to see the whole performance. The video posted below is blocked in my country. I searched for other versions and only found short clips so far. She looks beautiful as always. To me, it sounds like she is trying to be careful with her voice. I hope she will continue to care for herself as much as possible. If she could just focus on being positive and just try to take each moment as it comes. Try not to focus on the negative things that are going on around her. She really needs to not to use her voice, if she can help it, until she has to sing in Vegas. I don't know if she is doing this or not. I get the feeling she is working in the studio. This latest news story is just mean. Mariah looks sweet in the outfit pictured. I'm not really a fan of the glove, but that's her thing. Here is a video of MC talking about her opinion of fashion and trends. I think she says it best. Wear what you want. Trends are stupid. Why should we be pressured to wear what is "cool" or the "thing to do"? Screw that. I'm going to wear what I want. They just want to criticize her any way they can. I have seen heavy metal remixes with other artist that were pretty good. So I "youtubed it" to see if there was any Mariah Carey heavy metal remix. This is what I found. Warning. It is scary and horrible but funny at the same time. I only listened to a few seconds of it. (That's all I could stand.) I could imagine MC doing vocals to an awesome heavy metal ballad similar to "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica or "Symphony of Destruction" by Megadeth. I don't think it's gonna happen though. I think the heaviest song she ever did was "You Need Me" from the debut album. That song kicks ass. (Thursday 12 March 2015; 4:24)

Is anyone else annoyed when a news story about Nick Cannon is posted to this site? Uh. I can't even look at the guy. I have no interest in what he has to say, even if it is about the twins. How about posting a picture of "dem babies" instead of Nick? Yeah I know, "Nick will be around and associated with MC for a long time so get use to it." Since none of us are around Mariah we have no idea what she does day to day to care for herself. We do know that she drinks alcohol quite a bit and does not get enough sleep. I have heard other rumors about things that she does that could also be contributing to damaging her voice but let's not go there. Sleep is (all caps) very important to the body being able to heal itself. When you fall into that deep sleep (rem) that is when your body starts repairing damage from the day and just in general. We also know that MC does not sleep when the rest of us do. She usually stays up all night and maybe sleeps in the morning afternoon hours. Some might think this is not a big deal but it really is. I really wish Mariah would take better care of herself and stop drinking alcohol. Some might say "so what if she drinks, she's an adult" true but, drinking alcohol can be very damaging to the body when drunk in access. Also it should not be used as an escape. I should know. I use to drink quite a bit as well do to personal issues as an escape. I wouldn't say I was addicted or an alcoholic but it was not healthy so I quit over a year ago. Since then I feel much healthier. I had a complete lifestyle change and I wish MC would do the same. (Saturday 28 February 2015; 14:43)

If we put all the criticism aside for a moment and look at what it really is, we all just want Mariah to be the best she can in all aspects. Healthy, both mentally and physically. Obviously she is going through a lot of stress and heartache in her life, and not really seeing her or hearing from her, has left us all to speculate and assume how she is doing. Those of us who are being "real" about the situation and showing tough love to MC understand that this is the healthiest thing to do. MC is not above anyone else. That mentality is what leads to this annoying diva behavior. It's better to be humble about who you are, and just do your best. That way if you mess up there is not so much pressure to live up to the huge ego you have built up about yourself. Plus people will love you more for being humble. Yes she has more hits, yes she has been around a long time, at the moment she is not singing on the level of greatness that she once was. It takes work and care for yourself to stay on top and be the greatest. I believe that she can make a huge comeback and amaze everyone again, but she has to take care of herself to the extreme. She has to love herself and want to feel good and happy. Otherwise we are just going to continue to see more of these very hard to watch performances and breakdowns on stage. I wish Mariah the very best and hope that she gets her priorities straight. She can recover from this, but she really has to want to herself. (Friday 27 February 2015; 15:32)

Great video. Although I didn't watch more than 7 minutes of it I can see that Celine is such a professional person. She is also very balanced and "real". There really is not much "diva" behavior from her. It seems that she is very concerned about taking care of herself, which is very important. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I have bought one album of hers back in the day and, she has a beautiful voice. She is a good role model for MC. Bravo Adam, I totally agree. That interview was really annoying to watch and listen to. She had horrible mic control, and she of all people should be an expert at that by now. She was all over the place and more concerned with "splashes" that the actual interview. The level of "professionalism" is just totally gone. What happened? Has MC truly been spoiled to the point where she can't even be professional anymore? Yeah let's say it was just a "stupid" interview so what? Well the world is watching and all she is doing is showing us this "princess" mentality. Not that this is anything new to the fans or "lambs" what ever you want to call it. It is unprofessional and inconsiderate to be late and keep people waiting. 5-10 minutes late, ok no big deal, but an hour, 2 hours, 5 hours or more is just straight up disrespectful. When I saw MC in concert she was more than 2 hours late. At least have enough respect for your fans to be on time. If you have to get ready earlier then do it. If you want the show to be later then schedule it as such. When you are being interviewed for a magazine or something like that at least be professional enough to meet the person at the time that is agreed upon. If that means 4 am then let then know that. If you don't want to do the interview, then don't agree to it at all. It's a personality flaw that I think she needs to work on. I'm really annoyed by the "diva" act. People are crazy with their eyebrows. I see women all the time walking around with their eyebrows shaved off and they have penciled in these fake weird looking eyebrows. Please just leave your eyebrows alone and appreciate the natural beauty. Sure a little grooming/plucking is fine, but it really is a bad idea to go with trends. Who cares about stupid trends? (Egomania is known as an obsessive preoccupation with one's self and applies to someone who follows their own ungoverned impulses and is possessed by delusions of personal greatness and feels a lack of appreciation. Not sure this story is true or not. I would encourage MC to learn to love herself as she is, instead of trying to alter her body. Exercise is great. There is nothing hotter that a body that is toned, inshape, and healthy. Too many people these days are so eager to change their own natural beauty. They dye their hair, wear push up bras and padded underware, shave their eye brows off to paint them on, plastic surgery, high heels, and colored contacts. Mostly because of what we see on tv and movies. Everyone is beautiful in their own special ways. If you can learn to love yourself naturally as you are you will win in more ways than one.
