She should be glad and appreciative being in the presence of one best music artists of all time. Because there's a chance it could be just a rumor to start drama, but oh well. But again, and I'm sure others would agree. That Mariah needs the people who styled her during the Emancipation era. Her ensembles were on point. Like B stated, she still has the looks but desperately needs a better styling team. Even on "AI" she was looking great. Just the other day I watched her finale medley performance. The whole album is a gem. I feel "Me I am Mariah" would have been another great era, with "Beautiful" off to a nice start. I felt like Mariah went back to the good music with that song. And it's still by far her best effort and single in my opinion. I also think she should work with Miguel and Happy Perez again. They could most likely come up with another great song. They don't see her as a legend nor give her the respect and praise she deserves. Which is more likely due to jealousy or because of her attitude. Either way, most don't care for her any more. Which is sad. Every artist's career hits rock bottom some point, but they're still continuously loved and supported by their fans. The two problems with Mariah is her music and her image. No grown person who knows what real music is going to listening to a song like "Infinity". She needs more better, stronger mature lyrics. Not to mention great music producers and collaborations. An album like "Musicbox" and "The Emancipation Of Mimi" combined would do her wonders. Along with a couple of songs that have a new sound. No more rappers and silly, cringing songs Mariah. They do in a way start tarnishing and ruining their legacy. Madonna is a perfect example. Her latest efforts have been pretty bad. Hopefully Mariah can bounce back and record good, quality music. But by now from her open ensembles. She's more and likely fine. As for the duet, I'd let Ariana take my place. Mariah is lost right now musically. I really hope she finds herself again and starts recording decent material. Mostly all the songs are [censored] other than "Cruise control", "I'll be lovin' you long time" and the impressive "I wish you well". Another thing that [censored] about the album is that it didn't include the version with TI in "I'll be lovin' you long time". I don't know why people like it and say it's filled with hits lol. [censored] So much she could have done and still potentially do. It's not about getting hits, it's about releasing good quality music for your fans. Now "Me I am Mariah" is decent and had the potential to be great. I would have much preferred having the album how it was originally planned on being released. All those wasted unreleased tracks.
