Marriage (55,006) by Leigh from USA I would be seriously concerned if the media reports are all true. On the other hand it really is none of my business. When looking into who and what James Packer is and the behavior he has engaged in over the past couple of years, though, as a fan of MC, the reports do not portray him as the most consistent, stable man in the world, Australia or even Sydney for that matter. He seems to be easily persuaded when it comes to changing his religious beliefs. His true net worth has decreased by approximately 3 billion dollars in the past 4 years (holy cow, that's a lot of poor investment choices). His fellow countrymen and women are not very fond of what is seen as using his money to get what he wants. He inherited all of his money that was made by his father and grandfather in the media field and has moved almost completely away from those investments into those that are less stable (casinos and gambling establishments which account for huge losses when those investments have not panned out). And he was caught fighting in his neighborhood with the Nine Network's chief executive, David Gyngell, at Bondi beach for reasons that are reported as mixed. For someone who is reportedly very private, it is not difficult to find a lot of not so favorable information on Mr. Packer So yes I am definitely concerned about who this person is and how quickly this relationship may be moving. Vegas, Australia, Israel orbust (54,965) by Leigh from USA Jet-setting around the world, basquing in Med seas on luxurious yachts, rumors from boyfriends to marriage. It all is irrelevant for Mariah the artist unless her recent interviews about the direction she is heading were a bunch of bs. And if they weren't, and JP has simply swept her off her feet to the point that her artistry doesn't matter anymore, so be it, as long as she is truly happy. I will be sadly disappointed if the latter is the case, especially since I am holding a ticket for the 7/8 show. And I really don't believe she will put her music on hold again. But if not, she must rehearse to avoid losing the media support recently gained or all of this work is for nothing. (Monday 29 June 2015; 7:38)

Latest TMZ leak on marriage (54,945) by Leigh from USA So TMZ is reporting this morning that MC and JP are spontaneuosly jet setting to Israel so James can supposedly gain some divine guidance before he pops the question. LMAO. Unless James has recently turned to something other than Scientology or maybe Tom Cruise is meeting him in Israel, it would be interesting to know who the "secret" meeting is being held with. Also, I am pretty sure Mariah had already been planning this trip to Israel to discuss future engagements (which imo is pretty risky considering the state of affairs abroad but?). Anyway, sounds like Sylvia is stopping at nothing to keep the marriage card on the table. (Saturday 27 June 2015; 15:06)

Thoughts for future music (54,921) by Leigh from USA IMO, I think it would be great if Mariah would do another cover/remake of a couple of Michael Jackson's songs that would bring her back to what she was doing in the 90's with a new twist. IBT was a great song and even back to some of the Jackson 5 songs that have that old Motown flare. On another note the Sydney Morning Herald reports something of a twist on Mariah and James' relationship this morning. Hm? (Friday 26 June 2015; 19:07)

Mariahpackercarey (54,782) by Leigh from USA When those 3 names are run together it sounds like a cocktail mixed in a glass bieker by a pharmacist from the early 19th century. Regardless of opinions we form about Mr. Packer (good, bad, or indifferent) and his intentions for MC, his money is a factor-as is Mariah's-regardles of whether any of us thinks it should be. But, as has been implied here many times, that a person's character is in no way propotionately related to their net worth. Leads me to ask a couple of questions about JP. 1) Besides just about anything he could buy for MC what does he have to offer that he can't buy or isn't for sale? 2) What were the issues with at least 2 people who married him, but decided there wasn't enough money to stay with him until that one vow of "death do us part"? 3) Does anyone else think that it is strange (in a not so good way) how the media has done a complete 360 in reporting on this relationship or moreover on MC? Sorry but a month ago there were minimal positive reports on anything MC was doing let alone how ahe looked. Now, regardless of how she looks they seem to be falling all over her. Not that I disagree, but a sincere reporter kind of seems lime an oxymoron in this case. Just thinking. (Monday 22 June 2015; 7:10)

For me, one of Mariah's best vocal performances arrived with the recording of "I don't Wanna Cry" rating 5. #4 Can't Let Go #3 Emotions #2 Vision of Love - this was the first time we heard MC's phenomenal range #1 Oh Holy Night - by far is my choice for absolute greatness And I believe there will be another coming soon that will be right up there with any of these 5 great songs.
