Being controlled or gave up control? (64,566) by Natalia from Italy
So much has changed with the Mariah from a few years ago, and the Mariah of today. The Mariah from the past was very passionate about her music. She was a self proclaimed "workaholic". She was much more connected to her fans, and made an effort to communicate with us through personal voice messages. It seems that all that has changed. She seems so distant. Something is so wrong here. It's like she have given away all control, or she is being controlled. She doesn't come off to me as a happy person. She almost always looks tipsy or heavily medicated, or it could just be that she is so exhausted that she looks medicated. We can't really know for sure. The bruises were very strange to me. Yes, people who have childen and dogs can get bruises, but this is Mariah Carey, she has multiple nannies and people who work for her. I am sure they would take care of any obstacles that might be in her way, that could have given her those bruises. I just have a bad feeling that something is just not right here. Call me crazy, think whatever you wish to about me, I don't care. I will not stop talking about it, because I feel it so strongly, something is just not right here. Time will tell, the truth will always come to light. I just pray for her and her babies everyday to be safe, healthy, and happy, in Jesus name, Amen.

Bravo for the petition (64,565) by Natalia from Italy
I love it. I plan to sign it, as soon as I get a chance to sit down and write a meaningful little note to MC. If anything, she could at least have them shoot short little videos of her talking to us directly, then they could post it on her social media for her. That way she wouldn't have to do any actual work, but we would still feel like it was more personal. I hope this gets some kind of results.

Bruises? (64,475) by Natalia from Italy
There are clearly bruises on her knee here. Then, if you look at the picture that was just recently posted in the news section of this website, in the article "Date night in St. Tropez", look at her left shoulder and you will see something that looks like bruises there as well. If its not bruises than what could it be? I don't have a good feeling about this, and it disturbs me that no one seems to be concerned about it either.

Bruises? (64,452) by Natalia from Italy
What happened to Mariah's left arm? It almost looks like a bruise in the shape of a hand print. I hope that this is not a violent relationship. I am truly worried about Mimi and her precious babies.

Clash cover / many faces (64,318) by Natalia from Italy
Her body looks awesome. Yet again another face that looks strange to me. You can't see her nose or mouth just one eye. This is awful. What's the point of being on the cover of a magazine if your hiding almost your entire face? She is a few inches away from looking like cousin It. She has to have had some work done on her face. She looks nothing like the Mariah from even a few years back. If this is true I wish she would just stop. There is no need to modify her face. She was so beautiful as she was. It's so strange to me. Then what is even more strange, is when my post is censored by the mod when I mention that she possibly had plastic surgery. Is it really necessary to censor this? It is a valid concern. I don't feel that this is disrespectful. Please explain why I am being censored.

The many faces of Mariah (64,271) by Natalia from Italy
What is the deal with Mariah's face? [censored] She doesn't even look like the banner of this message board anymore. [censored] Am I wrong about this? Does anyone else thinks her face looks way different than it used to? Quite strange indeed.

Ample cleavage madness (64,269) by Natalia from Italy
How many news stories have been written about this topic? I find it quite ludicrous. Is this really news? Is her cleavage really that ample? Is she paying for them to print these news stories? She seems to be quite obsessed with her boobs.

Looking In (64,230) by Natalia from Italy
She is "vanishing away". It seems that she has lost her true self, somewhere along the way. Some seem to think that this is how she has always been, but I don't agree. She seems to be very easily manipulated, and if you look at the past eras, you can see the different influences changed certain things about her image. I almost get the feeling that she is being used and victimized, but I can't say why. I just pray and hope that she will continue to stay strong, and do what is best for her and her children in spite of all of this. Money isn't everything. What is most important is love, real love.

Maybe Morgan was on to something (64,162) by Natalia from Italy
When the report came out about Mariah's brother Morgan, that said, she was on the verge of a breakdown, or even death, I was shocked and offended. Now that doesn't seem as far from the truth anymore. I wouldn't go as far as to say she is close to death, because I don't believe that, but, she does seem to be a little more closer to "the edge". Some have said that she has always been this way, but I respectfully disagree.

MC saving herself for marriage? (63,791) by Natalia from Italy
Does anyone else think this idea is really hot? I have heard of others doing this also, and I believe that she also did this with Nick. I bet she is posting all those sexy social media pics just to tease him. MC is a naughty girl. This is, if it's even true.

The makeup (63,573) by Natalia from Italy
I know I have seen a few others post about the fact that M has been wearing way too much makeup lately. Seriously, her face is flawless, she doesn't need so much makeup. It seems as if Stella has way too much control over her these days.

Re: Demi (63,572) by Natalia from Italy
Mariah does come off as somewhat petty, catty, and immature at times, but that is what this society has come to. It's the norm. I would never use the word "nasty" to describe her though.

Advocate or poser? (63,461) by Natalia from Italy
First of all, I think it was a nice gesture that Mariah dedicated the song "One Sweet Day" to the victims of the shooting. A few points have been made that maybe some of us are expecting too much of Mariah. I find it ironic that someone who very recently received an award for supporting the gay and lesbian community didn't find it necessary to "tweet" her support. Social media is such a simple, quick and efficient way to communicate with just about anyone. It's not just a website anymore, it's a way of life now. Many celebs use this on a regular, to keep in touch with their fans. Are you telling me that Mariah is so busy, that she couldn't take 60 seconds out of her busy schedule to log into Facebook, and type a few words showing her support at this tragic time? It would have been a comfort to many, believe it or not. Some of you are not disturbed by this at all, and that is expected, but some of us are. This has nothing to do with "growing up" or expecting too much from her. If you accept an award for being an advocate, then maybe you should at least try to play the role, even if you have to fake it to save face. If you can't do that, then why even accept the award in the first place?

The real Mariah Carey, gone forever? (63,378) by Natalia from Italy
The Mariah Carey that we all grew to love through the years, is gone forever. She is no longer that caring, loving person, that she used to be. What happened to her to cause this? That is the question. She used to love her fans, and make great efforts to reach out to us. She used to be passionate about her music. This has all changed. Now it's all about keeping up appearances. The whole diva and catty immature act has gone way too far. She is a grown woman in her mid 40's acting like a teenager. She has no control over her own social media. The Mariah of the 90's and early 2000's would have loved to connect with her fans this way and would have done it quite often I believe. Then this whole horrible situation of over 50 people being massacred because they were of a certain sexual nature, and she says nothing? That is not the Mariah that I have grown to love. She should have said something, anything. Does she even care anymore about anything? It surely doesn't seem like it. The Mariah we knew is gone forever. I have no idea who this new person is anymore and it's breaking my heart.

Conspiracy? (63,263) by Natalia from Italy
I know that just the mention of a conspiracy at this message board will bring lots of but please, just hear me out. What if, again, in all caps, what if, there is a conspiracy to ruin "Mariah Carey's" reputation as we have all grown to know her by. The first thing that was very odd to me was when she signed back with Sony. That was very strange to me. Then after that was when Stella was assigned as her handler/manager. Then the sexy social media pictures, now videos that show her in, not the best light. What is the deal here? I find it all quite disturbing, and it just does not feel right to me. Something weird is going on, whatever it is. Conspiracy or not. It almost feel like a smear campaign trying to ruin her reputation. In the past she was a very private person. She even said herself that she didn't feel comfortable talking about her private relationships until she was married to that person. Now she is all over social media like a young out of control teenage girl. If this is all her idea and she is agreeing to go along with it, then hell, maybe this is a midlife crisis after all. I'm stumped.

Style malfunction vs. midlife crisis (62,891) by Natalia from Italy
For me there is a big difference between someone who needs help styling themselves properly, and an all out midlife crisis. On the occasion that she does manage to pick a outfit that stuns us all. It's a magical moment, but that seems to be touch and go. It would be difficult to know for sure if she truly was having a midlife crisis, since none of us know her personally. I have doubts that is the case, but now that I have had time to ponder over it, I would admit, anything is possible.

Mariah's $tyle (62,883) by Natalia from Italy
Tight, black, and malfunctioning. Why is this frequently the case? Is it really that challenging to keep those nips of hers in check? Or is this done on purpose? One thing's for sure, when she gets it right it's stunning. Maybe we are expecting too much from her? She never has been an official fashion icon, but she truly has her own style. My wish is that she always look well put together. Diamonds are great, but you can't just wear anything, throw diamonds over it and expect it to look good.

Re: Rihanna by Giovanni (62,830) by Natalia from Italy
I can't let you get away with calling Rihanna's current album a flop. That was quite absurd. "Anti" peaked at number one in its second week on the US Billboard 200 chart with 166,000 equivalent-album units sold. "Work", featuring Drake, was released as the lead single from Anti, and peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and became Rihanna's 14th number one single on the chart. That is indeed not a flop. You go on to say, "She doesn't have one iconic, legendary song in her whole entire catalog." This makes you seem just a bit insane. "Umbrella" is probably her most iconic song, hitting #1 around the world on almost every chart. "Don't Stop the Music", "Rude Boy", and "Only Girl in the World", "We Found Love" and "S&M" are also very big hits around the world. She may not be to your liking, but I can assure you, she will be remembered 20 years from now, as the girl from the small island of Barbados, who encompassed a broad range of genres, sold millions of records worldwide, and left her mark on the world of music like no one else has before her.

Re: Anthony (62,748) by Natalia from Italy
To reply to the other points you made. Mariah has always been drinking and partying. The only thing new here, is that it is being shared to social media, when before it was kept private away from the public view. So what if she hangs out with younger people than her? She has always had parties with guest of all ages, younger and older.

Midlife crisis? (62,741) by Natalia from Italy
Mariah has been dressing sexy and showing off her body for years now. This is nothing new. This idea that she shouldn't be be showing off her newly slimmed down body because she's over 40 is ludicrous. She looks stunning. There is no midlife crisis, she is just doing what she has always done, looking fabulous.

Dislike button/thumbs down (62,162) by Natalia from Italy
Dear gracious webmaster, would it be remotely possible to supply a thumbs down or dislike button? It would be much appreciated. At times I feel that a comment really calls for one. I know I can not be the only one who would make good use of this feature.

So immature, eternally 12 indeed (61,576) by Natalia from Italy
The whole "I don't know her" thing is getting way out of hand. It's not funny, and it makes Mariah look petty and immature. I guess we all should expect this behavior. She has always told us that she is "eternally 12". Well, this certainly is how a 12 year old would act. Is Jennifer Lopez really having that much of an affect on you Mariah that you have to keep bringing it up? So lame.

Re: Meet and greet mess (61,103) by Natalia from Italy
In my opinion, we are expecting too much. Look at it like this, Mariah is equivalent to the queen of England, in a sense, or even, let's say, the Pope. She is willing to mingle with the "peasants" for a hefty fee, but only for a few short moments, then she must move on. She will never be one of us ever again. She is high above us now, she has been for a long time, and we just need to accept that. She was a "regular" or "normal" person at one time in her life, but she has been away from that for so long, that she is can no longer relate to us, or even cares to. It is what it is. To be honest, I don't believe that she "loves" her fans, in the true meaning of the word. She loves the money, and success, that her fans have given to her, plain and simple. As a fan you have to be willing to wait for hours for her to arrive, and pay hefty fees to be able to meet your idol. Is it really worth it? That's for you to decided. Mariah is not the same person she was long ago. It's obvious to me, not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just plain and simple truth. Now, please don't shoot the messenger.

Cleaning house (60,993) by Natalia from Italy
I think this is a great sign. Mariah is trying something new, and trying to get something "big" (all caps) to really happen here. If these people have been around all these years, and have not made much of a difference, something needs to change. Mariah is entering a whole new era, she is past the golden goddess phase, and has moved on to the "diamond queen" phase (work with me here, not sure what to call it). Anyway I find it very exciting. When you shake things up, great things can happen. This could be the beginning of something huge.
