About Giovanni from USA: Been a fan since 2005.

Marissa (66,303) by Giovanni from USA
I completely agree but why keep ranting? It seems like you're really frustrated and bothered by Mariah's decisions and actions. I'm not. Although I love Mariah as a singer and as an artist, she doesn't affect my life in any way by how she chooses to live hers. As much as she's disappointed me with her last single and over the top sexiness, I've learned that no matter how much ranting we do or advice we give her she's going to do as she pleases. If she makes another comeback great, if not oh well. I have a ton of other singers I can listen to.

Whitney Houston (66,233) by Giovanni from USA
Mariah could have definitely sang "You give good love" and "So emotional".

Beyonce (66,232) by Giovanni from USA
I'm all for a collaboration with "The weekend", but hopefully the one with Beyonce was just a rumor. We don't need Beyonce. She's the woman Mariah needs to outshine. I'm sick of Beyonce and her winning Grammys she doesn't deserve. She's a great singer but her music just sucks and has absolutely no meaning. There are so many other better talented female singers and "artists" that deserve a Grammy and a chance in the spotlight. Jessie J, Ledisi, JoJo, Jennifer Hudson, I'm so glad there's Adele because she's the only other female who can outshine and outsell Beyonce. "Formation" screamed attention and desperation for relevance. I want Mariah to make the best album she possibly can and outshine everyone.

New music (66,230) by Giovanni from USA
I am also excited for new music. I hope Mariah gives us another "The Emancipation Of Mimi" type era.

Re: What the hell (66,013) (66,019) by Giovanni from USA
Nope, you posted and I quote "Mariah has always been chubby in her cheeks". You made the mistake of including the word "always". You were basically saying that her cheeks have been chubby all her life, which isn't true.

What the hell (66,002) by Giovanni from USA
"Mariah has always been chubby in her cheeks"? Yeah right. From Mariah's debut all the way up to 2001 Mariah's face and weight was always slim. She didn't start to gain weight until 2002. In 2005 she was much thicker and curvy but it suited her. You can't tell me Mariah's face was chubby in 2008, 2012 or 2013. If you do you need glasses. Her face was super thin, and she looked gorgeous and way younger.

Mariah does not write her music? You lost me there RibbonB.

Re: Michael Jackson cover (65,802) (65,810) by Giovanni from USA
Nope, I meant an actual studio cover. "I'll be there" was only a live version". She needs to cover "You are not alone".

Re: Michael Jackson cover (65,796) (65,799) by Giovanni from USA
I put down "Got to be there", not "I'll be there". They are two different songs.

Michael Jackson cover (65,790) by Giovanni from USA
I hope before Mariah retires she does a song cover from Michael Jackson. I've always thought she would have killed "Got to be there" and "Man in the mirror". She definitely should cover "You are not alone".

Re: Will Mariah extend her Vegas residency? (65,786) (65,789) by Giovanni from USA
I hope not. I'm so over Vegas and her touring. I'm ready for new music and a kick ass era. "The Emancipation Of Mimi" part 2.

I love "Say something". It's fun, cool and as you mentioned sexy. I love the video too. Mariah looked amazing.

Excuses, excuses (65,726) by Giovanni from USA
It's really funny how certain lambs want to defend Mariah's awful, tacky ensembles and pictures with the same tired excuses. "She's just having fun" or "Why can't she still be sexy at 46?" There's a limit you know. There's a difference between sexy with class and sexy with trash. Those instagram pictures are terrible. I couldn't believe what I saw. Mariah is trying way too hard and it's just making her look bad. I'm all for defending her when it comes to her voice, but when it comes to her over the top sexiness I won't. Cover up and dress your age for God sakes. No one wants to see a near 50 year old woman still trying to show her assets. It's embarrassing. And if this comes off as "sexist" I don't care.

Re: C'mon people (65,718) (65,725) by Giovanni from USA
Well it isn't the "Butterfly" era anymore. Mariah is 46 years old now. She can't pull of some of the things she pulled off when she was younger. Beyonce is 34 so she can get away with a lot of things a 46 year old can't get away with. Mariah can't accept the fact that she's aging. She wants to still continue being sexy and it comes off as thirsty, desperate and tacky. She tries way too hard that it's embarrassing. Those instagram pictures are a hot mess. From the hair, to the make up, to the hideous ensemble, to the overly sexy pose. The whole look screams Beyonce.

No dahling, it wouldn't work. Let's focus on John Legend and Sam Smith.

"Why you mad" dahling? Lazaro is gorgeous and talented. He was the best voice on his season.

Re: Hero (65,496) (65,501) by Giovanni from USA
Exactly, I don't see how anyone could get their freak on to this song. Mariah's name is the only way Nick can stay relevant.

I'm playing "The art of letting go" as a tribute to you. Because dahling you need "to let go" haha.

Re: Ribbon B (65,473) (65,499) by Giovanni from USA
I like you Ribbon B but you are one shady lamb lol. Leave R. Kelly alone. I never knew about Terrance's personal life. I just thought they would have looked good together. Same with Michael. But I definitely want a John Legend and Sam Smith collaboration. Not too familiar with Maxwell though. I also think having an older artist like Stevie Wonder would be great. I loved Celine's collaboration with the song "Overjoyed". I think Mariah would have done a much better job.

Nick Cannon (65,472) by Giovanni from USA
Is trying to stay relevant by using Mariah's name. It's sad. He needs to realize that nobody really cares for him. Other then that Amber Rose. Who is the epitome of t****. I'll never know what Mariah saw in him. He's goofy, immature and has no class. She would have been better off with a real man like Terrance Howard or Michael Strahan. Both handle themselves with class, are decent looking and seem like they know how to respect and treat a woman. The only good situation that came from Mariah and Nick's relationship was Roc and Roe.

Candy Bling (65,471) by Giovanni from USA
I also love "Candy Bling". It's sexy and flows well really nice. I think Mariah should have named it "Back in the day". Sounds a lot better. However "Touch my body" is really below her level of songwriting and artistry. Why it made it to number one I'll never know. But good for Mariah. If "Touch my body" was a hit song surely she can have more. "Beautiful", "The art of letting go", "Make it look good", "You don't know what to do" all could have been hit songs. I think now where Mariah is in her career she needs strong and powerful lyrics in order for people to want to buy her music. I would love to see her performing a new hit song at the Grammys.
