About Gee from U.S.A. (New York City): Me and Mariah go back like babies on pacifiers.

All I want (96,511) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
As far as Walter is concerned he has made it very clear that he and Mariah would work on the production process together when they used to work together, but she would work on the lyrics solo. Unless it has been removed there is a video on YouTube from the Music Box era where this was explained in detail.

Where I Belong video (96,482) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
The video for [Where I belong] has been shot already. It was directed by Chris Robinson who also directed [I know what you want]. The song itself is about three years old or so.

Tanaka (96,454) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Personally I feel like people need to accept that Tanaka is a part of M’s life. He has been a companion, and more for quite sometime now. Yes he re-entered her life during a time of darkness but it is obvious that he has brought some peace into her life. My point is that we as her fans should be happy that M is finally in a more peaceful place in her life, and that she is surrounded by people, who she feels genuinely care, and love her. I am also happy that RocNation has been a great asset to her business because they treat her like the legendary artist that she truly is.

New album (96,433) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I highly doubt that MC will release a new album within the next year. I feel like the pandemic has slowed things down for everybody. Also I doubt that MC has put thought into a new album, and era because she has been focusing on being a mom, and keeping her children in a happy, and safe environment during these uncertain times. If anything I believe that she will release another full length album in 2022. Hopefully by that time the pandemic will be under control a little bit better.

Firecracker vs. Cameo version (96,398) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Personally I feel like both versions of Loverboy. The original Firecracker version would have worked in the movie as well as on the soundtrack to fit the pop 80's feel. The Cameo was a genius move after all the controversy. The final product was also a great song, and fit like a glove on urban radio. Pay homage to 80's R&B. In my opinion both versions serve a great purpose. Also kudos to MC for being a masterful creative genius for being able to make two great versions of a great song. I can appreciate both versions for what they are because they both fit the project very well. However the Firecracker version is fun pop side of MC. The Cameo is the hip-pop side of MC. I would say listen to the version that you like the best.

The aftermath (96,305) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I see that the message board has been in shambles since the release of the memoir. While everyone is entitled to their opinion some people have been spreading more hate than love. Personally I feel like you do not have to like what MC has decided to share in The Meaning of Mariah Carey but to degrade her, or anyone who is appreciative, and respectful of her story is not cool at all. Again her memoir was her story to tell, and whatever shall be the aftermath is something MC has to deal with. Just my opinion.

TMOMC (96,123) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I actually got the chance to read the entire book within a three day span. I felt all kinds of emotions during, and after the reading process. I hate that little Mariah had to endure so much, but through all of that the Mariah we know today has emerged. I am glad that Mariah was able to find her center, and peace. I will not tear down Mariah’s experiences because of the way she has chosen to handle certain things that happened to her. I will leave it here I enjoyed the memoir, and I am glad that Mariah was able to share this with us in the way she felt that she needed to.

TMOMC New York Times best selling author (96,023) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Congratulations to Mariah, Ms. Davis, and all of us who have supported Mariah during this time and making this incredible moment happen for her. This is just another achievement to add to Mariah's already decorated career, and resume. Mariah is now a best selling singer, songwriter, producer and now she is a best selling author.

The Rarities (95,915) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Currently listening to [The Rarities] honestly I will appreciate Mariah for her contributions to industry as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Honestly the earlier stages of Mariah's career [were] more of what the powers that be wanted as far as an artist. While the package brought great success it stifled the artist who Mariah actually is. Songs like [Cool on you], [I pray], [...] and even Close my eyes are the true representation of Mariah and the artist she always wanted to be. However I need [Cool on you] to be released at some point. Overall I really enjoyed what The Rarities offered. Thank you MC for what you have done for us with MC30 it is greatly appreciated.

Roger Friedman (95,858) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Roger is holding a grudge against MC because she fired his good friend Cindi as her publicist, and she is Tommy’s publicist now. Also when they saw each other at an event during the nightmare era they talked briefly but MC, did not give him her new contact information and it has held a grudge ever since. Honestly Roger needs to move on, and find a hobby and leave MC alone because she has definitely left him, and his friends alone for quite sometime now.

Robert Anthony aha moments (95,670) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
As far as aha moments I am sure that she will discuss many of those topics in the book in great detail, and a lot of things will make sense. As far as Nick is concerned songs on MIAM like Cry, Faded, Camouflage, are some detailed moments to the end of their marriage, and the pain that M was in during the time, and I do believe she will speak on certain things in regards to her, and Nick but I think that she is going to keep it light, and respectful for the sake of Roc and Roe, but we will have to wait, and see.

OHOMO (95,662) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This cover is absolutely perfect. Mariah is one of few artists who know how to make a cover. She took this song to a level beyond expectations. All I can say after each listen is wow job well done.

Out here on my own (95,613) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
"Out here on my own" I do not understand why this brilliance was tucked away for so long. However better to receive, then get nothing at all. This is how a cover song should be done. Mariah gave power, vulnerability, and full voice. This was beautiful, and raw. All I can say is Mariah [you're] truly one of a kind. This cover is another special one, she paid homage, and still made it her own and damn it she took to another level like only Mariah can. This is the brilliance that makes Mariah, and her talent unmatched.

Randy (95,596) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Randy no need to come off so defensive, and my point was not to school anyone. I was correcting you on something in terms of the song Babydoll. Yes Mariah, and Missy co-wrote the song together, however Timbaland had no part of the song The production of the song was created by Stevie J along with MC, and Corey Rooney.

Randy / Babydoll (95,574) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Randy Timbaland had nothing to do [with] this song at all. Babydoll was produced by Stevie J. who was a part Diddy's hitmen production crew.

Tokyo Dome concert (95,543) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I think the reason Mariah decided to add the Daydream Tokyo Dome concert to the rarities is because it is 25th anniversary of the Daydream album/era and she wanted the fans to celebrate two different anniversaries all at the same time, and she doesn't have to worry about trying to create another special moment with the holiday season soon approaching and we know MC and the holiday season work together hand, and hand. Even though a [Daydream] celebration would have been great. But overall I am happy with MC given us this year to celebrate her career.

Patricia Carey (95,407) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Based on the article from New York magazine unfortunately Mariah, and Mama Carey are not on the best of terms, and have been estranged for quite sometime. Mariah also said despite their issues she still provides for her mother as far as financial support. As far as the assistant living facility in Florida I am not too sure about that, but if that is what is needed due to her failing health who am I to pass judgment. Hopefully Mariah, and Mama Carey can make amends before it is too late.

Vision of love
All I want for Christmas is you

Bill (95,349) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Bill we obviously have a difference of opinion on certain topics regarding MC's memoir. Neither one of us have read the book in its entirety, and we should wait to reserve our full judgment until after we have read the book completely. But I respect your opinion and feelings nonetheless.

TMOMC (95,343) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This memoir is MC's story to tell, and the way she chooses to control this particular narrative should be respected until you read the book for yourselves. Everyone has been able to paint a narrative about her throughout her career whether it has been good, bad, ugly, or indifferent. Now that she center stage she should be allowed to talk about whatever she wants to in regards to her life. Are somethings going to be uncomfortable to read? Of course it will be, however just imagine having to relive those moments, and put them on display for everybody else to judge is not easy. Maybe this was a moment of healing for her, and also maybe this helped her confront somethings with herself as well. Certain people will be talked about in the memoir because they are apart of her story, and her journey, we also have to remember that her ex-siblings has sold out to any tabloids that would listen whenever they felt the need so why should she play nice now that she has the upper hand? My point is we cannot have it both ways, we cannot say MC needs to be more vocal, and when she does we cannot tell her what she should, or should not say.

Mariah after Midnight (95,320) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Personally I was not offended by the article, nor am I disappointed with how MC came across in the article. Also the writer seemed happy with the experience. I think that this is prelude to the memoir, and I am ready to read, and enjoy. Again I have come to terms with the fact that MC can not please us all, all the time.

MusicfanJ / Breakdown (95,296) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Breakdown I am not too sure who, or what particular experience inspired Breakdown hopefully we will get insight into the inspiration or meaning to the song in the memoir as some songs will be actual chapters.
