Memoirs vs Charmbracelet debate (40,893) by lil star from untied states
(Both albums are criticized for there use of whisper register.) I for one prefer Memoirs to Charmbracelet. I find it to be more cohesive and it contains some of Mariahs sharpest lyrics showing her fun side while also showing adult contemp moment. But I do think Charmbracelet is superior in its vocal moments and AC ("Through the Rain", "I Only Wanted", "Clown", "Subtle Invitation", "Bringin' on the Heartbreak")songs, but it lacks in its hip hop r&b moments, sounding out dated even at the time ( "You Had Your Chance", "Lullaby", "Irresistible", "Yours") . I think it would be perfect if she had mashed the two together making the perfect MC cd, changing some songs to more full voice and removing the auto tune from the Memoirs songs . I mean a CD with "Subtle Invitation" and "It's a Wrap" a 1, 2 punch to Eminem of "Obsessed"and "Clown"
Playlist
1. "Betcha Gon' Know (The Prologue)" (no auto tune)
2. "Obsessed"(no auto tune)
3. "You Got Me" (featuring Jay-Z & Freeway)
4. "H.A.T.E.U."
5. "Inseparable(FT Trey Songz)"
6. "Clown"
7. "Standing O" (no auto tune)
8. "More Than Just Friends" (fuller voice)
9. "Ribbon"
10. "It's a Wrap"
11. "Subtle Invitation"
12. "Angels Cry"
13. "Through the Rain"
14. "Bringin' on the Heartbreak"
15. "Languishing (The Interlude)"
16. "My Saving Grace"

Collaberation (40,599) by lil star from untied states
So I'm thinking it really could be Justin Timberlake, or Timberland. I remember she worked with Timbaland on "Skydiving" and Justin was due to be on "The One", but there labels didn't work it out. Or Usher who was on "How Much" for Rainbow (always thought that should have been a single). Those would all be great though I think Mariah and Justin would be the best one. Now if it's not that then it could be Twista or Damian Marley who are on songs on her albums that weren't used as singles, but I don't think the fans care much for more callabos with them.

TAOLG flop ? Not radio friendly (39,906) by lil star from untied states
I think it's weird how everyone keeps acting like Mariah doesn't know that TAOLG is not radio friendly. This is the woman with the most 1's. I think she would know what could be a hit. Come on people, this is Mariah. I'm sure there is a game plan. You know there is going to be a remix and that will probably serve as the radio single (wether or not that will work we will have to wait and see). And yet it's to soon to say it's a flop. No music video or performances or remix yet.

Mixtape (39,614) by lil star from untied states
I've always wanted Mariah to release a mixtape for her hardcore fans. I know she has a lot of unreleased material that we would all want to hear. Plus it would give her the chance to experiment more, maybe put out some jazz and blues type songs or very experimental stuff. It's just a thought.

Hope Street (39,516) by lil star from untied states
What ever happened to the rumoured single "Hope Street"? Does anyone know if it's planed to make the album? When they described it, I was really interested to hear it. "This isn't cheesy rent-a-rapper Mariah who squeals every note possible. It is awesome, experimental, and sounds like a Joni Mitchell record on steroids. Mariah uses the lower register of her voice to an amazing effect," and "Apparently, Mariah is tired of trying to appeal to teenagers and has made an album that is heartfelt, personal and very artistic." It sounds like a song hardcore fans have been waiting for. But that was so long ago and I'm sure the album has made many changes since then. I'm just hopping we get to hear this song and a lot of the songs recorded during this time period.

Mariah's voice live/on albums (39,321) by lil star from untied states
On the subject of Mariah's voice, I think if she would accept that her voice has changed over the years (not hating on her voice, I still think it's amazing and she can sing most singers under the table), then she would do much better live. She should change the songs up maybe do a jazz version of "Vision of Love". The thing is Mariah always trys to sing the songs the same way she did years ago. The fact of the matter is while her voice is still amazing, it's not the same as it was then and if she would change it up to the voice she has now, she could do them fully live all the time. No other singer sings there early music the same and they change them up, but I know Mariah is a perfectionist, so she wants it to sound perfect as if it were played on the record.
