To Randy in USA (54,998) by CMC from NY,NY Hey I just saw your message, I'm almost positive that the message about Mariah not mentioning she was black is from "Mariah In conversation". It's a cd release from the early 90's not authorized by Sony. I have it in CD but it's currently on YouTube wich I discovered recently. She doesn't however deny it but I'm pretty sure she doesn't mention it. Which I thought was odd. Most likely the "powers that be" told her to do so. (Wednesday 1 July 2015; 5:45)

Mimi weight gain / Vegas (51,316) by CMC from NY,NY I personally think the weight gain is due to use of steroids for her vocal cords. Singers are known to do this in order to belt out vocals and continue singing the way they used to. Google it. The side effect is weight gain and bloating. This explains could explain Mariah's up and down weight through the years. As of lately especially prior to finishing albums (MIAM) and currently the reissue and rehearsal for #1's. It's too much of an immediate change to be just normal weight gain. Why would she look amazing on Ellen and throw away hard work of working out and dieting to gain weight between #1s shows? It makes me really sympathize with her and have compassion because it must be horrible to have this scrutiny and zero control over that if it's her only resort to have the voice in full capacity. It must really be a battle. Mariah is into her looks, she wants to be in great shape, there's no way she doesn't want that "Touch my body" body back. Especially after coming out of the divorce and gearing for a comeback. Anyway it's all speculation but makes sense, I'm always rooting for her and feel pain. Bonus tracks - "re"-mix the song (45,087) by CMC from NY,NY Most of us do know the rules now about the resinging of a track and the remix if changed not tracking on the chart as the same single. That's is why this particular situation is so frustrating. Betcha G'on Know and It's A Wrap could have been just that, completly remixed tracks and all new vocals being that they were MOAIA cuts and obviously she would not be releasing these as singles for MIAM. Now that yes would have been a bonus for the fans. Instead it comes of as just lazily slapping them on to the end of the album when ideally this was the perfect chance to give us an oldschool redone version of the originals. Oh and she actually did completly remix and resing the H.A.T.E.U. single. And "Say Something". WBT wasn't Mariah's last resung effort. (Tuesday 24 June 2014; 19:03)

Butterfly sugar water (44,663) by CMC from NY,NY Yes I bought it yesterday, it's pure sugar water with no creative ingredients, with zero nutritional value and artificial red dye. If our girl Mimi's been chugging this stuff it's deff not gonna help her loose that extra weight. The scan on the bottle simply plays the You're Mine video, and 4 pictures that are all the album art for the album. Not that I was expecting anything special but the whole concept is ridiculous. Me. I am Mariah (43,089) by CMC from NY,NY I love the album title. Simple and and to the point. Creative. I love the album art. I hope there are hard copies so I can add to my collection. I will be buying both albums if so. Looks like it is actually going to happen lambs. The track list seems nice. In my opinion YME, Beautiful, and TAOLG (as bonus) could have been left off to make room for other possible songs we could hear since she's been working since 2010. Also bizarre the bonus tracks are from the scrapped Angels Advocate album. Yet I have always wanted to hear both those with Mary J. and the prologue Pt. 2. Blah blah blah. Weight (42,677) by CMC from NY,NY It's very apparent in those Canada ET interviews Mariah is extremely puffy/bloated. [censored] I'm sure she's doing this around the time she just added tracks and her umpteenth "finishing touch". I mean we're talking a matter of days and her face ballooned. I could see gaining weight but that fast and in your face? It makes sense. She's too vain to just haphazardly put on that much weight before any album. Unfortunately I think the public outside the lambs love to knock on her weight so that won't help with album. It would be great if she had a major slim down like E=MC2 which boosted her confidence and got people noticing. Or it's the drinking but that's major splashes to show that bloat in the face? She's def not pregnant, she would never go through that again. And now? With the album? That would be a disaster. Anyway hoping for May 6th, since I've been waiting ever since she popped out those twins. (Thursday 17 April 2014; 14:57)

New single / MCA (41,127) by CMC from NY,NY I'm so exited for this week. I love Mariah's appearances on The View. I have to admit I couldn't resist listening to "You're mine (eternal )", not sure what that reference is. Couldn't she of just changed it to Be Mine, or "Get you off my mind" but then someone posted that's not what she's even singing. I google searched the leaked version after a day of drinking so it's all a happy blur to me but can't get the faint memory of the melody out. I loved it. But only one listen so it will be like new to me when I hear the studio version tomorrow morning and wake up like a kid to hear it. I'm old school trying not to listen to the leaks but who can resist? I'll still buy the iTunes version of course. New single / album / duets (40,980) by CMC from NY,NY I can't say I'm excited for a lead single not consisting of just Mariah. Speculation on this Trey duet and being first single have me worried. All this time and it seems that this is thrown together last minute. Is she trying to recreate #Beautiful now? I just want fresh new Mariah only with a great hook. Double album would obviously be great but a duets only would be a huge letdown to me. Please say it ain't so. (Thursday 6 February 2014; 23:23)

Hair / duets (40,782) by CMC from NY,NY As a hairstylist and colorist in NYC I've thought Mariah's color had been very off and tired looking. It's too blonde and looks cheap and tone is aging her. She needs to go back to more of a dark honey base with subtle highlights. I'm dying for her to go back to the butterfly album cover hair. She'd look more fresh and youthful. I have to say the Usher rumor gives me no excitement at all. A Bruno Mars duet would give me everything and be more current. All these male duets seem a bit much. I'd like more and Mariah. I just want to add about everyone wanting certain songs on the album. I don't want any previously released tracks on the album. I don't understand why people would. That's just taking away from new tracks we will get. We all own them and have heard them at this point anyway. Beautiful was practically a year ago at this point. I want new tracks! Delusional (40,733) by CMC from NY,NY Edward and Stephan, I'm glad to see other lambs are on the same page as far as the tired TAOLG album title. And yes it is linked with failure at this point. Edward, I 100% agree, promotion videos released promptly and remixes ready to go have to be on point. There's no room for error at this point. Isaac, just because Mariah thinks something up and creates it doesn't make it genius. We all love Mariah in our own way. I'm a fan since her debut at 5 years old. But darling, in my opinion, and the mass of most lambs I'm sure agree, Triumphant was definitely not the comeback first single we were all hoping for. Let's not forget which was originally the lead single off "this" new era. It's all in the past, I'm tired of it. I loved Beautiful but I want all that left in last year for sure. New album title (40,725) by CMC from NY,NY Edward, I totally agree. Releasing as a single would seem desperate. At this point she's been out the game so long and to come back with a Whitney cover or release as single (just speculation) the critiques could possibley year her apart. I however was excited about one cover, preferaby Whitney. Two seems a little much considering the 5 year break. I want Mimi originals with necessary duets. Not really wanted an album full of duets to take away from Mariah. We've already had the dreadful Triumphant with Mariah singing hook on her own song. And Mimi singing second half of Beautiful. Really hoping The Art Of Letting Go title is axed. It sounds very tired to my at this point. Something new and fresh would give it much more life. Title thoughts? (Thursday 23 January 2014; 22:58)

Album excitement (40,716) by CMC from NY,NY One more thing about the Whitney collab for me. I'm extremely excited and open to the idea and agree it would have to be a pre Mariah beginning of Whitney's career record, when I'm sure Mariah was admiring her as an inspiring singer. Although it should not be first single on 2/14 or maybe not even a single, just a buzz for the album would help. I'm looking for uptempos and classic Motown feel. Fresh new production and ideas, killer hooks and classic Mariah. I feel she will bring it she knows this is a crucial album almost 5 years in the making. Chart success is a plus and if it's a killer album I feel Mariah will get the attention. Now is a great time to release it as it seems there are no other divas on the horizon to release. Learned better than to count on Mariah's tentative "late spring" release announcement though. Waiting for a killer single at this point. (Wednesday 22 January 2014; 22:45)

[...] (40,676) by CMC from NY,NY First off, so excited about Mariah covering Whitney. The idea led me to YouTube and I began watching old Whitney videos and performances. I can totally hear Mimi doing "You give good love" making her own yet still keeping true to Whitney's version. If it's true, that could possibly be the Valentine's single as it would be very fitting for the occasion and Whitney's anniversary of her death is 2/11 (just a thought), although I was looking forward to more of an uptempo track. New album and details (40,268) by CMC from NY,NY Mariah has to know how desperate we are for this album. Besides MCIIY we haven't had a full Mimi album since Memoirs! I was so hopeful during the time of Adele's breakthrough and Whitney's unfortunate passing and birth of dem babies we were going to get major inspiration and some killer tracks from Mimi. Will any of this possible work be on the album do you guys think? Will it even be current when she worked on some of it almost 4 years ago? I hope any good work doesn't get brushed under the rug. I do think The Art Of Letting Go album title should be "let go", it actually sounds tired now since we've been hearing it since early summer. A new title will definitely recreate some excitement. I would think Mariah and J.D. may figure that out as well. I'm hoping we will got some solid info on the new album with this Sunday's WWHL appearance. All the lambs should ask specific questions as to why such a delay. I'm looking forward to her interaction with Andy Cohen. P.S. FB rant to push single up chart? (39,849) by CMC from NY,NY Let's just start with I love the new song. It's actually an intirely new sound for Mariah and I never thought she would give us at this stage such a vulnerable raw vocal. I believe she obviously wants this single to sky rocket, that's her thing. It's like each single so far has been a test to see where it who it will attract. With that said I cannot believe no one has stated what I thought moments after I read the FB post regarding wrong song played. Doesn't each time the song is played credit toward chart success? Therefore have the slightest difference in the song (which I don't even notice) and having her 13 million followers play the new version again and compare with the old (as I did over and over), wouldn't that be a completely genious plan and ploy for Mariah to boost her way up the singles chart? And no other venue other than Facebook would she be able to to that. Quite suspicious to me in fact. Hmmmmm does no one else see that? Thoughts? (Saturday 16 November 2013; 7:31)
