Stacey (39,256) by Special K from USA You really think Mariah and Dru Hill out did Prince on The Beautiful Ones? Girl please. Don't get me wrong, I think Mariah did a good job but her version isn't even on the same level as Prince's. The way the man goes from a soft faulsetto to screaming, " Do you want him? Or do you want me? Cuz I want you!" is so haunting, intense, and emotional at the sametime. That song is so sexual. It goes from an extremely, intense build up that leads to the ultimate passionate climax. Mariah's remake was missing that in my opinion. (Friday 13 September 2013; 4:28)

Songs I would skip / Randy (39,156) by Special K from USA Most of the songs I skip with a quickness come from Rainbow and Memiors. A special skip shout out goes to freaking Did I Do That. Oh yeah, X-Girlfriend, Heartbreaker, How Much, and After Tonight can get some too. Yeah Randy, I be having a hot and cold relationship with freaking Hero. There are times when I love that song to death and think it's a masterpiece, then there are other times I will listen to it I think it's corny as hell, lol. (Saturday 31 August 2013; 2:43)

Stephen (38,976) by Special K from USA Hello buddy. I actually think Without You is hands down Mariah's all time best vocal performance in a song. It's damn near criminal that she didn't win a Grammy for that song. It's the way she sings in her lower registry and builds up to the climax. Banannas. Talk about a vocal track. Randy (38,874) by Special K from USA Hmmm, you know your theory is plausible. Melt Away would have been perfect for the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack. They could have played that song during the scenes between Angela Basset and Wesley Snipes characters. I wouldn't doubt if Babybface had the idea in mind, but I think he kept it to himself. At that time, the supposed Diva fued was at its height between Mariah and Whitney. They darn near put every R&B female singer on the dang soundtrack except Mariah, which I feel was purposely done. MLB All Star charity performance / Licia (38,672) by Special K from USA I can't believe Mariah actually sang Looking In. I would of straight passed out if I was there. I agree with Licia, it's rather freaking genius that Mariah decided to perform despite her injuries. I look at it this way, Mariah would have gotten just as much attention if she pulled out and didn't perform. Lee and Stephen, it ain't that serious, lol. Like Mariah would really fall on purpose to get attention. Mariah is way too vain to risk a chance of bruising anything on her body, especially the face, lol. (Sunday 14 July 2013; 21:26)

Mariah's inconsistent voice (38,584) by Special K from USA I thought Giselle L. and Tierna posts about this issue were spot on. I too never bought into the nodules theory, Mariah aging, or the argument that her 90's songs are harder to sing than her current songs. I've seen Mariah in concert plenty of times throughout her career. During the Charmracelet tour her voice was spot on crazy. Darn near perfect. When you compared the touring voice to the album, there was no comparison. Also, during that tour Mariah was in tip top shape physically. Her body was off the charts. During TAOM tour some cities Mariah nailed it, others she didn't. Perhaps celebrating the success of the album a little too much? Perhaps way too many cities that put strain on the voice? Now, we hardly ever talk about the Angels Advocate tour. I saw Mariah twice and again, she nailed it. During that time Mariah was in love and in a really good place personally. Not to be vulgar but having great, hot, awesome sex on a daily is very good for the mind and body. Have mercy. (Friday 5 July 2013; 19:16)
