Those pictures were from the Elvis Duran interview, who is a DJ for Z100. I found an audio of that interview. I can't find the video anywhere. I listened to the interview again today and she never mentions anything on Katy Perry. I've never heard Mariah say anything on her. Period. Katy seems to be obsessed with her and uses Mariah references to get attention. I actually like some of Katy's songs but I think she copies Mariah. (Tuesday 24 March 2015; 5:11)

I have never seen this video of Mariah talking of singing in whistle register when she was little. I had already seen the other video of the same topic she talked of somewhere in Asia. Is anyone obsessed with that part of her voice? I usually rewind those parts. I also like to watch the compilation videos of her high notes. (Tuesday 17 March 2015; 3:38)

First, I'm using the term icon loosely. Second, I've been checking this messagboard for years. I barely made a profile though. It's funny to me to see the diversity of the fans here. Some fans are lambs, some are fair weather lambs, some are fan-enemies. I'm sorry for the labels. The posts from the last ones are funny to me. Anyway. I am so excited to go see Mariah in May and July. My boyfriend and I are going because of the HRC performance. We were discussing about Mariah's involvement with her gay fans. I told him, I feel she has done much. What do you guys think? I'm curious why this topic doesn't come up much here. (Sunday 15 March 2015; 1:28)
