As a mixed black guy that appreciates diversity of any race or thing, including white, I found your comment to be a bit of a stereotype, trashy, uneducated, and borderline racist. Just because Mariah hires black people, doesn't make her point of diversity any less [censored]. You look [censored] as you sound. She has white make up artists, her friends are white, her business partnerships are white, her business manager, Stella, is white complex and she has made great music within an extreme diversity of white and non-white alike. There's nothing funny or sarcastic that you should have gotten from her remarks. This isn't a damn game. This is a real issue. Her remarks are very real to every core, especially here in USA where everyone is still sensitive to several issues good or bad about races, female rights versus male rights, gay or straight preferences, religious freedoms, and several other issues that need diversity. Please understand what you say before you say it. The United States of America, despite our history of racist people and lack of diversity, is still the most diversely populated country in the world with several different cultures and backgrounds. I am so happy for my queen. I am even more excited for this new album because Mariah is confident again. She no longer has a child for a husband bringing her down personally, professionally, and financially. It is true that #Beautiful delayed for plays because of her radio deal slowly expiring but remember that the song sold on average over 100,000 copies for the first ten weeks without much radio. After the first week, radio slammed the song to the don't play switch. The album was already done but it was delayed because of Mariah's injury. Mariah stopped promoting after the injury and it became apparent that this album success was not about the label but Mariah herself. Let's not get things twisted, the label could have done more to sustain the hype while Mariah was recovering from injury but the album was pushed back 3 times spanning well over a year. Mariah, being the non stopping professional she is, tried so hard with her diva antics and Idol live shows to regain that public desire for her music but the fire was gone for lacking promotion for a year. The album had great radio friendly, public buying music. Regardless of the circumstances of any marketing plan, push backing anything in any business is not ideal because the chances of it doing well becomes lower and lower due to the lapse in time. I learned in college that time depreciates the value of items and brands. Pushing back the album 3 times is unnecessary. The label promoting Mariah, Mariah promoting quality music, radio promoting Mariah, Mariah commitng 100% to her craft and public response to Mariah as a powerful person in charge of herself, is going to determine how her music sells. Mariah does a lot behind the scenes but it's annoying when she keeps her own fans waiting. Vegas is in less than a month and she is still vacationing. I hope she is working but I am tired of seeing the same, "Mariah stuns in somewhere over the rainbow" and "her billionaire boyfriend is splashing her with gifts". UK fans / money / Mariah (59,140) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA What the hell is wrong with some of the UK fans lately? All I hear them do now is complain, complain, and complain. What happened to the excitement of a tour coming to a place near you. They don't like flashy things with Mariah, they don't like Mariah Carey as an artist because they feel like she doesn't care about her career, they don't understand how she has changed so much so they complain on every post, they have the tendency to be more rude in their articulate delivery, and they don't understand a lot of things lately and say it must be a USA thing with Mariah. Keyword is understand. It's not very hard to understand Mariah. I respect all fans but I am starting to notice a little bit of a cocky entitlement of feelings from UK fans everywhere online, specifically the comments section and forums. If you don't like something about Mariah, perfect. Keep more of it to yourself though. We get the memo. There are many more fans that will keep Mariah Carey active. Also why are Madonna fans OK with their own artist making 100 million dollars a year but we Mariah Carey fans have a problem with Mariah making 30 million because she flaunts it? What is the difference? It's her money. She can earn as she pleases. If you can't stand it, don't buy into her ego. I could care less because I love everthing Mariah including the diva. I know it's not entirely true, but I sometimes feel us lambs as a whole hate everything Mariah and will treat our lifestyles and tenancies to put everyone down, including Mariah. I am not saying everyone does it but it stands out more when it does happen. Non lambs now confuse lambs hatred or dislike for what Mariah does as an excuse to not like her. If I was in their shoes, I would agree. Why should I begin to like an artist if her own fans complain on every damn post what they don't like about him/her? While they were standing outside after the interview with her, the guy hinted that Mariah hinted them on a new album. Unless you recorded the entire GMA show, it might be hard to see it on YouTube. I take it as a source because GMA never lies about Mariah. Mariah has said several times last year that she has several surprises planned this year and she was approached for endorsement deals for February 2016. It was reported last year that Mariah would tour Europe in March and release a new album in 2016 when she moved away from CAA Management. So far everything has aligned perfectly as Mariah is touring in March as speculated in the summer of last year. Also on GMA in December 2015 it was reported after Mariah's interview that Mariah herself hinted on a possible album. I don't speculate without sources and facts. Feel free to check for yourself. Her triumps carry personal meaning for me. My mother who I never knew because of neglect made me cry with "Reflections (Care Enough)" and my deep insecurities made me cry the most with "Looking In". Mariah Carey is a part of who I am and it's hard to believe but it's true. She just didn't go deep with her songs, she went in my soul and made me a friend I could always count on with her music. That's why I am extremely protective of her because we connect on an emotional level. "Hero" makes me cry, especially when she sings it to a crying crowd because that song is like the topping on a cake: sweet, sensational, and pure happiness it brings. (Tuesday 5 January 2016; 1:40)

I like knowing you are excited for the U.K. shows and want to see great things at the show. I must say, I think I might have overreacted a bit to you this year and for that I apologize. I don't apologize often but you are too persistent and I love it. My biggest quality is my persistence. Often as lambs we fight but we appreciate each other and want the best for our Mother Lamb in our own way. I feel like we are this dysfunctional family of lambs in a manger with different sounds and walks of life. AIWFCIY #11 on Billboard Hot 100 (58,733) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA I have paid attention to shopping trends the past few years. I have made statements on this site that Mariah Carey is still potent on the Billboard charts and some thought I was crazy. This is Mariah Carey's 4th top 15 hit in the USA since 2008 (Obsessed, #Beautiful, and Touch My Body are the others) and she has 4 top 5 albums since 2008 too. I noted several posts of how AIWFCIY was making extreme gains before the last week in November compared to last few years and most were still stuck on 2014. Mariah Carey, although busy, was way less busy promoting in the public eye compared to last year and did much better on the Billboard charts than last year. After the unfortunate performance last year, some fans on this board questioned and ridiculed other fans for being blindsided and said we were not helping her career by being in "denial". As always I am happy to say that I was right once again. AIWFCIY sold over 200,000 copies in the USA this year and Merry Christmas sold over 70,000 copies in the USA. This proves Mariah is still very relevant regardless of what time of the year it is. She lost the weight and let her name do the talking. What I do know is that Mariah confirmed herself that she started the industry when she was 18 years old. Sources differ because people forget Mariah was signed in 1988 to Columbia records not in 1990. Mariah could have been 17 years old when she first signed in 1988. She was 20 years old in 1990 when her first album was released in June 12, 1990. Her 20th birthday was a few months prior to her debut on March 27, 1990. The picture she captioned this year with her and then 19 year old "Will Smith at KIIS FM Endless Summer Jam in Los Angeles way back in 1988" proves she was 18 in 1988.
