About MimiLamb from Germany: Me and Mariah go back like babies with pacifiers! Fan since I heard VOL the first time as a little 9 year old girl!

Re: Randy (51,355) by MimiLamb from Germany
I agree with you on the most part, but how do you know Mariah didn't try to work for her marriage or fight for it? We don't know how long the marriage was bad or how long the both of them tried to work it out, I don't think it's fair to say that Mariah didn't try to save it. I don't believe all the gossip, Nick didn't say a bad thing and I don't think he will. There are two people so the both of them have a responsibility when it comes to the marriage, the divorce and the children.

The art of losing and gaining weight (51,312) by MimiLamb from Germany
The weight issue is ridiculous, how often do people say "we live in the real world" and "we can't look like celebrities because that's not reality". Now here we have Mariah with her curves, and all of a sudden it's her weight that is the issue. I rather have Mariah with her curves and singing her ass of and slaying in Vegas then Mariah thin and struggling with her performances. Some are focusing on the wrong thing in my opinion. Britney is another thing, that girl needs her body in check and dance to be able to pull it off, Mariah was never a dancer or an entertainer with Mariah the vocals need to be on point, she still can look fabulous with a little bit more weight on her. The promotion like Edward already mentioned is not up to Mariah, I think they will start soon, maybe like 2 weeks before the first show. I'm going to sit back and wait instead of creating doom scenario's before we have seen/heard a single thing. Take a deep breath and keep calm.

Changes (51,227) by MimiLamb from Germany
You notice that the new record label wants to try and do all they can for Mariah to be more likeable for the general public again. The car karaoke is something she would never have done a few years ago. She is getting better with social media, sharing posts from MC fanpages on her official FB page and also answering the lambs and retweeting them on Twitter. Some may think that something like that is not important but I do think it is. I notice myself that I'm getting curious again with the next thing we are going to see/hear from her. I'm really liking the change and the fact they don't overdo it and showing it more gradually. I hope Mariah and her team keep it up, I'm confident.

Anniversary (51,162) by MimiLamb from Germany
Seeing as this isn't FB and I can't share my anniversary creation for MC I kind of forgot to say something here. Happy anniversary to MC.

Glove/damage and carpool karaoke (51,161) by MimiLamb from Germany
It doesn't even matter if somebody has a medical degree on this board when it comes to Mariah's injury and as to why she wears the glove. Nobody seen her X Rays or know the damage she still has. So unless Mariah's doctor graces us with his or her presence it's a guessing game. My cousin needed a brace for a very long time and diguisted it by wearing a glove, I don't know if that is what Mariah is doing but it's a possibility, who cares? If she wants to wear a glove for the rest of her life then good for her. I loved the carpool karaoke btw, she was very relaxed and she was really enjoying herself. Seeing all these positive reactions from the people and the media was a delight after the negativity that was surrounding MC.

The HRC gala perfomance (50,892) by MimiLamb from Germany
I liked the performance, it was not over the top nor was she struggling in my opinion, her voice seems so much clearer and fuller. She changed it to her current voice something a lot of us said she should do, the song she picked "Hero" was because of the nature of the event and I can totally get it and suits the occasion. It was simple and I liked it. The stage well it's a gala and not a Mariah Carey concert so it's not up to her to change it or do something with it. I also liked the fact there weren't any background singers singing over her so loud you can't hear her or where she can hide behind. I enjoyed it and I'm not picking apart every little detail of the performance itself because it wasn't flawless but it was real. Her outfit was fitting to, not to much cleavage or to overly sexy again fitting. She looked beautiful.

Age (50,748) by MimiLamb from Germany
"Most of the members seem to be on their teens or early 20's." This makes me curious though, how many of you are in their teens or early 20's on this board? Because I never got the feeling that most of the members are that young.

Really? (50,735) by MimiLamb from Germany
I have to agree, sometimes it comes across that some are fishing for stuff to complain about on this board, because being positive and still believing is just not the way to go. I mean the not working with white people is a new low tbh. I love seeing people giving their opinions but sometimes it's just too much, and you really sit there and think "stop it already", like all of you are perfect and do everything like you supposed to do.

Mariah following fanpages on Facebook (50,373) by MimiLamb from Germany
Well it happened and I still can't believe it. Mariah decided to follow fanpages on Facebook including ours, I love that she is really trying to connect with the fans again. She has been more active on Twitter as well, replying and retweeting Lambs but also other legends like Deniece Williams.

Say what now? (50,345) by MimiLamb from Germany
I'm sorry but these articles are getting more ridiculous as time goes by. "She was naked except for two butterfly stickers over her nipples." Really now, come on. Not to mention the booty article, I really laughed my ass (pun intended) off reading that, and this one is just a "shake my head" kind of article. Mariah is lying low, so there is not much to write about, so let’s dig into our “BS” files and make some crazy stuff up. Sorry but I can’t take it serious at all.

Knowing when (49,744) by MimiLamb from Germany
I'm actually laughing, some pretend like 90% of the people here still believe everything is fine and dandy, but like Shelly already mentioned that maybe 1% thinks that. There is a difference between knowing and still believing and knowing and not believing. When you think she should retire fine, think that and move on. Enough people including myself still think she has it, so we will stick around. Who are others to tell me I can't feel that way. Time will tell, but I'm tired of reading the same thing over and over again. We got it, we all saw it, and we all know it. Do you think by going around in circles makes it better? Changes what happened? There is just one person that can change something, that is Mariah herself, and we will see if she changed when she starts her Vegas residency. Nobody is forcing anybody to stick around, to go to her Vegas show or buy her music. So if you do want to just don't do it and leave it at that.

Shelly (49,691) by MimiLamb from Germany
I was not reffering to your message at all, sorry if you got that idea. I read that Andrew gave a shout out to the people that are "real" on this board. Saying somebody's name because they replied to you or thank them is something totally different in my opinion and I don't see that as a shout out.

I'm not going anywhere (49,685) by MimiLamb from Germany
The Mariah Carey we see now is the imperfect angel. I don't even want to know how it's for Mariah herself at the moment. I think she is aware that things aren't the way they should, it shows itself in her insecurity when she's on stage. Of course we should voice how we feel and see things in the hopes Mariah sees that we do care. But sometimes worry becomes hate and rudeness, I think that is what puts people off. I don't think there is a lamb/fan/supporter in the land that doesn't get it. I don't need to be in a list of "being real" or get a shout out just because I don't go around voicing my opinion on this board or anywhere else. I know my value as a fan, and I know the faith I have towards my idol. I have read a lot of messages here that I agree on, even the tough love ones. Personal live, personal issues, and what not, is never an excuse it's life and Mariah has just as much right to go through them as we are. We go through ups and downs hopefully with people that help us go through them. So I'm here for her, not turning my back and hopefully with that giving her some strength to pull herself together.

Re: Pearl Palms concert live by Darryle from Sagamihara, Japan (48,683) by MimiLamb from Germany
It's an unofficial release, so Mariah didn't make it available but also she is not making quick money with it as you put it.

Baby from Sweden (48,613) by MimiLamb from Germany
I for one love your posts here. You write very well and explain the feelings that you have very clearly. People should not be attacked I read, we should value each others opinions even when we don't agree, we shouldn't take it personal. That's very true and I agree, but it's kind off funny to me that this is being said the minute certain people start a discussion or even when they give Mariah though love. But when somebody shows love or defend Mariah they get attacked just the same like I have seen happen to for instance. Baby, why is it okay then I wonder? Because at that moment nobody is posting about respecting each others opinions. The positive lambs is another thing that really gives me an off feeling, sorry, are we really going down that road again? The positive versus the real lambs or the though love lambs? I really hope not, I also see it as an assumption were I will kind of dug a hole the minute I answer, and I really don't feel like going through another discussion amongst the fans/lambs etc. They mostly don't end so well and I rather keep it about the festive holiday that is around the corner.

Christmas concerts Beacon Theatre (48,564) by MimiLamb from Germany
The only sad thing for me is that some just can't seem to just enjoy the performance or the clips and need to pick it apart to prove the moments she was lipsyncing and when not. If that is the point some have come to I just feel sorry for them really. I enjoyed the clips from last night and from tonight, flaws, perfection and everything in between. Keep it up Mariah.

Opinions / feelings / facts and what not (48,400) by MimiLamb from Germany
I totally agree with you LC. Giving constructive criticism is totally okay and doesn't make a person a hater. Just as it doesn't make someone delusional for still believing in Mariah. I think the difference is are you giving constructive criticism or are you bashing/being disrespectful? I think it's funny to see that some are only here the moment something negative is going on, the minute all is fine you don't see any messages from them. That gives an indication of what kind of person they are, and what their role is here on this messageboard. Second an opinion doesn't make it a fact. If some think Mariah is over and done with that's fine, that's your opinion, excuse a lot of us for not seeing it like that. It's getting old to see that some think what they say goes and what others say is BS or delusional.

Live performance (48,203) by MimiLamb from Germany
We all know the minute Mariah performs it's either a hit or a miss. What I don't get is the backlash afterwards. Everytime it's treated like it's the first time it happened. Come on now, that's ridiculous. At this point it doesn't matter what happens, a lot of people can't get out of their negative mindset. When all is well people don't pay that much attention and are quiet but the minute something goes wrong, like not showing up (reason not known, while these media outlets aren't trustworthy) or not giving a flawless performance everybody is present to give their 2 cents. For me that is the sad part and not the performance she gave, she had better ones yes, but worse as well. I sometimes feel so ashamed how fans think and act more then I'm ashamed of a bad performance.

Re: Marissa (48,049) by MimiLamb from Germany
I couldn't agree more. I just enjoy the songs and the lyrics but I don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out who she wrote it for or about. At the end of the day only Mariah knows even though some think they know it all.

Negative posts / articles (47,459) by MimiLamb from Germany
What I do when I see certain people post I just scroll by them very fast. The minute I see the name and pic I know not to read. I think that's the best way to go lol. About the articles, I have 2 FB pages myself, and me and my fellow admin decided to not post articles that are plane BS anymore (we did do that in the past). We noticed our followers were getting more and more negative and even aggressive the minute they saw articles like that. It's not that we don't post articles that are negative at all but we try to only post those that really make sense or talking about facts. We see no use giving these media outlets and bloggers any attention that they don’t deserve. We don’t promote Mariah or doing any good for that matter. Not jabbing at the Webmaster by the way, he just posts anything Mariah.

The art of knowing when enough is enough (47,339) by MimiLamb from Germany
Could we please stop, I think the negativity the media and also a lot of the fans gave her is enough, are we going to keep kicking her when she's down? Don't get me wrong, everybody should speak their mind, but it has come to a point were people are only repeating what have been said a 1000 times already, it's getting depressing. I will never lose my hope and faith in this woman, nor do I want her to retire, to read people say that is just awful. I do think she is aware of what people and the press are saying, you can see it in this tour, not to overly sexy anymore, moving while performing, songs we want to hear and so on. These were all things fans were talking about and you see the changes. I would love to read about that as well, then only a list of all the things that are bad and wrong.

Re: ADAM from USA (47,329) by MimiLamb from Germany
I agree with that, the problem is that you can't go to anybody's concert because 90% of the artists today do just that. I have been to my fair share of concerts the last couple of years were the artist or even bands lipsynced and played their instruments of a track. It’s sad but let's not pretend it's only Mariah doing that. If you go to a Britney concert that is all you are getting, lip syncing. The excuse people give her is that she dances and then it's okay, I disagree there, she is a singer so I go there to not only see her dance and stuff. It’s just an example and I know Britney is not Mariah but at the end of the day she like Mariah is a singer. If I want to see dancing I will go to a dance show or whatever. But you are right, you go to a concert to hear the artist sing live.

Come again? (47,248) by MimiLamb from Germany
I'm sorry but how can somebody that says "Don't ever call me a 'lamb'. It means 'deluded psychopath' to me. This is just beyond. Mariah fans are becoming more of a joke than she is." still be allowed to be on this board. This goes beyond giving an opinion or even giving criticism. This is disrespectful to every person on here. I try to not attack people as a person (as much as I can) but this goes way and beyond for me.

Drama, this, that, the other (47,240) by MimiLamb from Germany
I pray to God Mariah never read what has been written here the last few days. The way some are talking is disgusting and has nothing to do with being real or giving an honest opinion. The moment I would ever talk about Mariah like that is the moment I stop being a fan, it's that simple. I get so tired having to justify my support to Mariah, because the minute you do, you be called delusional or living in a bubble. If you rather focus on the negativity alone and think that will help, be my guest. I think there should be a balance between the positive and the negative. Would you improve your work ethic if your boss constantly puts you down, is rude and gives you no respect? Nobody can function like that. I read some messages that have positive criticism and I agree and think this could really help. They balance the negative with the positive. But I also read a lot of "so called" positive criticism but in truth is nothing more than pure hate. I know some think they are above the rest the minute they post here but like everybody else you share your opinion that is in no way worth more as another person's opinion. Like some fans use every excuse to justify Mariah's vocals, some of you use every excuse to be negative and harsh. This negativity is going to be the tone for quite some time here on this board and that is kind of sad to know.

Setlist (47,184) by MimiLamb from Germany
Even though a part of me is thrilled to see this great setlist, I do think that this is where the problem lies. There are songs on there that we all know are too hard for her to sing live, so I would not have chosen them or change the key. This setlist is way too long and will give her problems in the end. She just wanted to make everybody happy going through her catalogue but with doing that she made it extra hard on herself to perform it night after night. I appreciate the effort and what she tries to do here, I really do but a part of me hopes she will change it up a little and even make it a little shorter. I have seen some short clips that didn't sound too good but I have also seen some longer YouTube clips that where fine. I'm waiting with my final verdict until I have seen a few concerts and good quality videos of her singing the whole song instead of a little parts that last 15 seconds. I must say I love the fact how she's using a big screen so everybody can see her, but also the cartoons and the private moments.
