About Lara from Middle East: I discovered Mariah with "always be my baby"...Got hooked by "my all"..didnt know it was the same artist back then..I couldn't (yet) understand what she was singing! Since then, I've been a big fan and rediscovered her catalogue and appreciate her even more...Searching for her lyrics was my way to learn english :)

Seems like a déjà vu (84,316) by Lara from Middle East
Beautiful ballad, very much like her style. I was expecting something more different maybe this is why I'm a bit disappointed. But two things definitely annoy me in the song: the DJ mustard intervention at the start and the word "f$$#" in the middle of the hook. It just doesn't fit with the lyrics.

With You snippet (84,207) (84,209) by Lara from Middle East
I like it. Seems more live material then GTFO. But I doubt it's gonna have a mass appeal. I expected something more uptempo like YDKWTD.

Re: AMA confirmation (84,025) (84,040) by Lara from Middle East
Exactly. I miss that Mariah. She seemed to have fun during her performance. I d rather having her miss the notes than missing her presence. Maybe she was going through a (hypo)manic episode back then.

With you (84,000) by Lara from Middle East
What do you think it is? I was wondering if it was a ballad, did she sang it for her nephew Shawn for his first dance at the wedding?

iHeartRadio performance (83,936) by Lara from Middle East
I liked it. There's huge improvement. I think she was out of breath because of the corset under her mini dress. I liked the second part when she wore her coat. I think she might have loosened the corset and that's why she was more at ease to walk around and less out of breath.

Re: GTFO (83,716) (83,718) by Lara from Middle East
So since I don't have any streaming platforms here, what did GTFO turn out to stand for?

How soon is soon? (83,652) by Lara from Middle East
I'm really excited about new music coming soon. Same time I m really anxious if I won't be able to hear it unless there's snippets of it on Instagram just like "I don't". The video apparently could not be seen on YouTube (just like the Unforgettable remixes later) and I don't have Google music here neither, ans I doubt I'll be able to here it on radio. So unless I go visit my brother in France I'll have to wait for the physical album to arrive to get the full listen.

Aretha's funeral performances (83,543) (83,563) by Lara from Middle East
What was that dress Ariana wore for the funeral? Awful and not appropriate in my opinion.

J.Lo and Mariah (83,450) by Lara from Middle East
J.Lo is loved because she's relatable and down to earth. It has nothing to do with respect. Maria on the other side, because of her Mariah-isms will never reach the love Jennifer is getting (just check their Instagrams, 7 millions vs 70 millions followers) but even the ones mocking her cannot not respect her.

Re: New album collabs (83,277) (83,278) by Lara from Middle East
She's more into pop and edm but would make an unexpected collaboration. Check this post from her.

Re: New album collabs (83,269) (83,275) by Lara from Middle East
Maroon 5, but personally I want her to work with another girl. Dua Lipa maybe or end the never ending feud and work with we don't know her.

Current voice (83,211) by Lara from Middle East
The new generation doesn't give a damn about singers ability like we used to back in the 90s and early 2000. Beyoncé realized that and go listen to her last singles, not one is vocally demanding. I agree Unforgettable is a good direction. Mariah has a distinctive tone that is for me more important than her belts. I'd like her to take a bit more pop direction too, not necessarily with Walter. Almost home was really underrated pop song. Maybe a collaboration with Maroon 5?

Re: "Prisoner" lip sync (83,076) (83,077) by Lara from Middle East
She should sing it on a trap beat.

Was it shade? (82,052) by Lara from Middle East
Stella last video's on Instagram is captioned "from my perfectly normal family to yours". Now that Mariah has come out with her bipolar disorder, I wonder if Stella was being shady with this post.

Rae Rae tweet (81,948) by Lara from Middle East
Rachel, Mariah's ex choreographer and friend just tweeted this. I guess she's targeting Damizza.

Re: Sexual harassment (81,904) (81,906) by Lara from Middle East
Seriously? She's complaining Mariah was nude with her? Well why doesn't she sue her own daughter whom was advising Mariah to wear a bra as a regular outfit? Who remember which episode of MW was that scene?

Why is she's using her married name?

What took her so long (81,742) by Lara from Middle East
All the speculation about her mental health are finally revealed. The past years were really obvious. I'm really optimistic about her new approach and bursting her protective bubble.

New album title (81,398) by Lara from Middle East
It will be named "The Emancipation From Stella".

It's oh so quiet (81,222) by Lara from Middle East
Quoting Bjork's song. No news so we start picking up at each other. Personally, I really wish Mariah gave one clear interview about the state of her voice. To let the world her voice isn't the same anymore would remove the huge expectations she has to face everytime, and for sure once that is relieved, her stage "stiffness" would be gone. For me, it's her tone that made her special, not the high belts she strains to reach.

Re: Mariah Carey: Just Be Good To Me (from Japan) (81,032) (81,037) by Lara from Middle East
Exactly Edward, you can feel she's relaxed in her performance and in control and doesn't have to worry about the next note. You mentioned that maybe a surgery that went wrong around 97, I guess her breath support got damaged when she got the implants. We'll keep on guessing until Trey put out his memoirs.

Bruno Mars (80,676) by Lara from Middle East
I really need Mariah to collaborate with him. Look at this mashup . Only him can bring her old vibes with a fresh sound.

Re: Mariah's most inspiring song (80,620) (80,634) by Lara from Middle East
For me lyrically Through The Rain is better but I don't like how she whispered through it. Can't Take That Away is much more enjoyable to listen. I think the most underrated inspirational song from Mariah is Almost Home.

Bury the hatchet (80,568) by Lara from Middle East
In honor of the Cranberries, I think Mariah should release a new album "Bury the hatchet" and make it only duets with all the persons she doesn't know.
