As far as Caution is concerned it was definitely a step in the right direction, musically it was fresh but still MC. I still listen to the album daily, I just listened to it yesterday. The one thing I appreciate about Mariah is that she has a style, and sound that is her own. The only album that I would say was not totally MC's sound is Memoirs. However I appreciate the album for what it is. I do believe that MC can work with some unknown producers and strike gold.

To me I think that MC should work with some up and coming producers on her next album. As well as 2-3 producers that she chemistry with. I would not mind Mike Will made it, Timbaland, Skillex, or Dev Haynes. As for co-writers Crystal Johnson, Missy Elliott, and Poo Bear.

MC / Timbaland Robert Anthony (94,265)

I am sure that MC would have loved to work with them both during the Butterfly era as they were fresh to the mainstream and Butterfly was MC’s artistic statement. My point was she did not work with Timbaland until [Skydiving] and then again on Caution with 8th [Grade]. Hopefully they will work together again at some point because I really enjoy 8th [Grade], also [Skydiving] sounds great as well, I hope that we get to hear the finished song one day.

Mariah has only worked with Timbaland twice. On both [Skydiving] and 8th [Grade]. Babydoll was actually produced by Stevie J. with additional production by Cory Rooney.

This album was definitely around a time MC was going through changes her last album on Def Jam, and she was in the process of going through a divorce. Even though I believe she was in the best emotionally she pulled through and created a solid body of work. I believe she should have named the album "The art of letting go" for obvious reasons, and the final track listing should have been 10-12 tracks.

Roger uses Mariah as a target of negativity whatever chance he gets. He is bitter she gave him the wrong number when they last seen each other at an event during the nightmare era, also he is Cindi Berger’s BFF. Also if he was up on game he would know that Mariah owns the music surrounding Glitter since Virgin records no longer exists. Funny how Mariah got to keep 50 million dollars from her Virgin deal, and now she owns all the publishing, and copyrights to the one sole album from that deal under her name. But let him have his opinion because Mariah came out this a situation victorious even after a little bumps, and bruises.

I am aware that Epic has ties to Sony, my point was she is no longer a part of the Epic branch, she is now dealing directly with Sony.

Glad to see this album become available on all streaming platforms. It was a dark time to be a Mariah fan during this era, to see how Glitter has been embraced all these years later is a great feat. Also to see that Mariah owns all the rights to the album that was potentially the nail in her career is definitely a major turn around. Also has anyone noticed that Mariah is no longer on Epic and she moved over to Sony?

We salute you for being great, and being someone who can speak to us, and for us whenever we are in need through your amazing catalog of music. Happy 30 anniversary to Vision Of Love.

Moments like this are truly Mariah's calling it was heartfelt, and tender. With all the happenings in the world right now our Mariah delivered. In these times it makes you appreciate your blessings, but also makes you think about the trying times, and losses along the way that you are still trying to accept.

She delivered her Charmbracelet fan moment for a great cause. The mash up was a nice surprise, and MC once again delivered. I am glad that she added some fresh, hopefully this will be some inspiration for future moments. Also MC looked so good.

I remember it like it was yesterday, September 18, 2003. The Charmbracelet tour came to New York, and rocked Radio City Music Hall. I have to say that this night was loads of fun, and Mariah was amazing, it is a night that I will never forget. Overall the CB tour is one of the best tours of Mariah's career.

The Charmbracelet album has some of Mariah's best writing and storytelling however vocally she seemed disconnected and uncertain of herself but I understand since it was right after the Glitter era. It is great to see people checking out her back catalog because in my opinion Mariah has one of the best musical catalogs in pop music.

E=MC2 (93,920)

If I was MC's A&R during this era I would have chosen the following singles to represent the album: 1. TMB worked as a great lead off single. 2. Migrate would worked as a nice follow up as it fit perfectly with the time and it was a different vibe for MC. 3. I'll Be Loving U Long Time is a perfect summer vibe and definitely would have been released during the summer. 4. For The Record this was the best ballad on the album in my opinion, it was fresh but also had classic MC vibes all over it.

My favorite song from E=MC2 [is] I'll Be Loving U Long Time, best honestly this has aged so well in my opinion. This album was definitely geared towards radio [with] songs like Migrate, Touch My Body, I'll Be Loving U Long Time, and I'm That Chick.

Migrate (93,866)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
| |
|
|
Migrate was originally recorded in 2007, and definitely fit the sound of the time especially adding T-Pain to the track it was definitely a great uptempo to kick off the album. I really wish that it was an official single it was definitely a missed opportunity. I hope that MC works with Danja again and they create some great bangers of all kinds. But I strongly feel that MC needs to kick off the next era with an uptempo record.

Funny thing is Mariah celebrated the anniversary of TEOM yet she paid E=MC2 anniversary dust. Obviously something is happening, and it is good to see Mariah shining, and we should appreciate this moment for what it is and leave the negativity, conspiracies out of the equation.

Roger has had it out for Mariah since she parted ways with his BFF Cindi Berger. Also chart data and Billboard reported the album topping the iTunes album chart. For all the Mariah fans moments like this should be celebrated, don't allow bitter people like Roger to dampen the moment. Congratulations MC.

This service is about heroes, and first responders. As well as the Easter holiday. So I understand her involvement. I get why some people are on the fence about her involvement, but based on everything going on right now I can appreciate her involvement. Shoutout to all the first responders, and heroes on the frontline during these scary, and uncertain times.
