At the same time, I get the feeling that Mariah is easily manipulated (god only knows all the manipulations she has not given in to), as Lee Daniels says, she is "ride or die" and does a lot of things for other people. Which is sometimes hard not to do when you have so many people on your payroll whose lives depend on your decisions. So you have to keep the money rolling in or you will have another bunch of people you have "let down". I very much agree that she should work on it and "get a backbone", as you say. But I am glad that she had the courage to express her feelings about the Idol thing. Maybe she looks at herself saying it and realizes those things (victim complex etc) herself. I remember once about 10 years ago, on some Mariah message board me and lots of other co-wrote a hilarious "Mariah's Christmas adventures" story. It had the ghost of Tupac and Da Brat and Mark Sudack and Tommy and Jack the dog in it and everything. It was a great way to escape from holiday stress (Saturday 10 December 2016; 15:07)

Re: Mariah should read her own press (69,243) (69,248) by Lexingz from Estonia Mimi L. yeah, I agree that in the internet comments there is a lot of harsh criticisim towards her exactly the way you described. A lot of the harshness has been encouraged by reporters lying and blowing things out of proportion though. You don't have to agree with that one. When I have talked to other people (not fans) about Mariah the women usually mention that they used to admire her for her early hits and men mention her boobs. Nobody really hates her I think. The main sentiment I get nowadays is, people feel sorry for her that she is struggling with her voice. (Thursday 8 December 2016; 14:19)
