What about "Waiting... Patiently" for an album title? Jokes lol.

I've heard from a few people who are non lambs that they really like it. I hear the words "classic Mariah" a lot, which is a good thing I think.

You're Mine promotion (41,380) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I've seen a few people say Mariah should be doing this or that to promote the song, but to be fair to her, she has been promoting it non stop since its release. I have been critical of Mariah in recent years for not making enough effort with promotion, but at the moment I do not think that she can be criticized. IMO, she has worked very hard. The only part where I would say there is room for improvement, is with mainstream media. If she actually appeared on The View, as planned, or Ellen, then that would have allowed her to share the song with the masses, but instead she seems to be focusing a lot on BET and radio, which is good, because she is concentrating on core rnb markets. However, I think she or her people should make better choices regarding where she promotes. A Wendy Williams appearance would be mega publicity for her. She should do it lol.

You're Mine (Eternal) (41,218) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Great song, great hook, great production. In the same vein as WBT, but unlike Love Story and most of the ballads on E=MC2, it doesn't sound like a poor rip off. It updates the formula. I know the song was produced by Darkchild, but major shout out to Mariah for the production. It sounds like a Mariah Carey production and that impresses me a lot. So many people have always given credit to JD, and the various producers Mariah has worked with. However, irrespective of who she works with, when it comes to mid tempo ballads, they all have a certain feel, which can only be attributed to Mariah as producer, as the common denominator with these tracks. It highlights why she is the most successful female producer and songwriter of all time. Now on to the bad news, the video. It's a total non event. A snooze fest. What on Earth was she thinking? Another vanity video. Great, just what Mariah needs at this point. Ok, I don't want her to do a Gaga or Rihanna, but surely she can incorporate a decent storyline, especially with this song. It would be so easy to do. Hopefully, the remix has a video, which helps shape some kind of story. I think the record company may have put zero money into this campaign, which limits what Mariah can do to be fair. On a positive note, she and Trey looked all kinds of phyne.

Will / Ryan (41,076) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I suspect Mariah has shot two videos, one for each of her first two singles. Sounds to me like she's got her promo game into gear and has already prepared the first two singles. I think this new era is finally about to lift off!

Mariah Daily Joirnal (41,052) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I'm kinda sad that this site is shutting down. I've been going on it for years. I must admit, it's been quite crap for quite some time now, but I had hoped that it would pick it up when the new album came out. I wonder who decided to shut it and why. An explanation would be nice, given that many fans have been going on that site since the late 90s. This is my favourite fan site anyway, so I'm glad this is continuing lol.

Mariah Daily Journal / Will (41,006) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I wouldn't be surprised if it was going to shut down. Whoever is responsible for it understandably has other priorities. It's been fairly inactive for quite some time now. I do wish that some other fans could take it over, and continue what was formerly a fan favourite.

Trey / Will (40,972) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Mariah and Trey on an official single together, well all I can say is yum, lol. Will, I think it's likely. It kind of makes sense tbh, because to some extent Mariah has struggled to keep certain sections of her fanbase happy since 1997, with some wanting her to continue with her rnb and hip hop flavours, whilst others want her more traditional ballads. To Mariah's credit, it's because she does them both so well that people feel she should do one or the other. This may be an album where she satisfies both sects of her fanbase in one go. For those who like both styles equally, such as myself, it's going to be straight up Mariah porn, should she indeed make such an album.

Double (40,963) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I do wonder if Mariah is planning to release a double album, kind of like I am by Beyoncé. She's been working on the album since 1902 and there have been numerous collabos mentioned, perhaps too many for one album. It leads me to suspect that there may be a double album on the horizon. I could be totally wrong of course, but I would appreciate a double dose of Mariah.

Dance routines (40,962) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I hate Mariah's dance routines. They make me feel uneasy and awkward. I much prefer her hand movements and finger pointing lol. She looks so uncomfortable dancing. Talent like Mariah and Whitney have never needed to go OTT on that side of things.

Ender (40,886) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I've been saying that for years. Quite simply one of the best performances and vocals of her career. Her version of that song really touches me.

Thank you for your continued devotion to this site. The like/dislike feature is a great addition. Perhaps going forward you could work on a delete button for certain posts from certain people? That's a joke lol, or is it?

Nas (40,832) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I'm glad that most of the messageboard is in agreement regarding Nas' ability and his potential contribution to Mariah's album. I'm looking forward to hearing her collaboration with him and Maxwell the most. I've seen Maxwell tweet her, indicating that there may be a duet, so I am very hopeful.

Isaac Ortiz (40,810) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Nas is an amazing artist and a true hip hop legend. Within the hip hop community he will always be respected, and well thought of. His class is permanent. If Mariah is collaborating with rappers, he's exactly the kind of rapper she should collaborate with. He can bring something to her record that not many others can. If you need to see anything more recent, may I suggest you check out Cherry Wine, which is his collaboration with Amy Winehouse. That's the kind of thing record he and Mariah would be amazing on.

Licia (40,767) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
You never know, they may actually put the video on a special edition or re-release of the new album when it drops in 2016. Lol.

Joe / UK Lambs (40,763) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Hi Joe, you're not late at all. I am in the process of trying to arrange this, together with Colin and one or two others. We are in the process of sorting out a venue and possible dates/themes. As you can probably imagine, this is not something that can be done in a week. At the moment we are thinking that we may do it so that it coincides with Mariah's new music. We will update you and others on this board when we have something more concrete arranged. If you have any suggestions, we are more than receptive to receiving them. It would be great if you and all the other UK lambs could make it. Did someone say karaoke? Jokes lol.

Edward (40,752) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Hey Edward, you should organise a US/NYC gathering, preferably in the first week of June, when I'll be in NYC haha! I'm joking btw, obviously, that's up to someone with the time on their hands to agree to organise. I have to say, I've never been to a Mariah fan gathering, and I'm looking forward to the UK event. When I went to Vegas in 2009 to see Mariah, I was too busy shopping and partying lol.

Christopher (40,726) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I agree, a new album title might not be a bad idea. I like TAOLG, but at this point its associated with failure. Perhaps a return to a simpler title would be good. I'm thinking The Emancipation Of Letting Go Of Mimi is a better alternative. That's a joke lol. If letting go is the theme, then perhaps something simple and powerful like Abdication. Sorry, that's the best I could come up with lol.

Usher (40,724) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Usher has been in the studio with JD recently. I wonder if a Mariah collabo has indeed taken place. It would make sense, seeing as he and Mariah are both long time collaborators with JD.

Someone should definitely organise something. I'd be on it.

Edward (40,664) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Happy New Year dude! Haha, na it was nothing as dramatic as that. I simply have been busy and tbh I've been a tad bored of the standard "someone critiques Mariah" and then "someone calls them out for not being a fan" arguments. It's tiresome and indeed boring at this stage. We are all here to express opinions. Those opinions may differ, which is cool. Chill. Lol. That's in no way a reference to you. You Give Good Love is a great song, much in the mold of All Alone In Love. I think Mariah's voice could hack it in a studio. As much as I would love to hear it, I do worry, as you know Whitney fans and critics will be sharpening pencils. Whatever she produces may not be good enough for some people. I'm hoping for a good, classic rnb album from Mariah. Such rumoured covers give me faith. Lol.
