Ever since Mariah teased us with that song at Floyd's bash I've forever been blasting it from my car. It seemed like she sang live at times, commanded the stage and showed the younger generation what a show stopping performance really is. Yeah her voice isn't the best but her commitment and dedication to making a performance worthy shines through. JLo clearly put the effort in. (Wednesday 22 August 2018; 13:03)

Makes sense and of course it's a shame it's got to this point. I love Mariah but I can also appreciate that she now cuts corners out of laziness. I'd probably be the same if I had her bank balance. It helped me to realise that the choice in which she sings is not an excuse, especially when she can make choices to improve. I think fans are rightly annoyed, the majority highlight the highs and lows with transparency and I'm glad. With your extensive knowledge, thank you for making it so much clearer. I'm not trying to diss Mariah out of spite, but I feel like we as fans are hyped up or fobbed off when deep down I feel Mariah isn't trying her hardest. Anyway thank you again. Mariah's voice (82,998) by Anonymous from I agree Andrew, really not feeling Mariah's tone nor the strain. I would rather her sing the bare minimum at a concert with ease and tone instead of the belt and shout method. Props to Mariah though for singing in lower keys, obviously she knows her limits however these tones are not what I feel in love with. So glad Mariah's back catalogue is extensive. I'm no vocal expert but I do wonder what her voice would be like if she took at least a year's break with the best of the best vocal coaches. I notice even more so in her performances that our dear Mariah struggles with her breathing. If someone could explain this I'd be most grateful. (Saturday 7 July 2018; 10:22)
