Don't worry (57,666)

James Packer is the answer to Mariah's prayers lmao. She was pretty cheap and tacky the time she was with Nick. Poor promotion, mediocre music videos and just all around a hot mess. She really didn't hire the best people. But this time, God is giving Mariah all the money she needs (not saying she's a gold digger, but James does pamper her). Think about it, she's paired up with a hard working, demure, successful, intelligent, wealthy person, also not an attention whore. Mariah will not only have the best production but this time, she's not holding back on promotion and spending and paying the best of the best, if that's what it takes to bring back real music. Unlimited amount of cash to spend on best producers, best promoters, best video directors, best manager, best stylist, best everything. I'm really excited for the next album you all. She's fed up with all these fools neglecting her art. Thank you Lord for giving Mariah what she deserves and reserving a man that she ultimately need. Let's go girl.

This is QHM, Warrior, Deedra, Mimi L (56,557)
by JAXGH from United States

This is qhm, aw thanks so much. I've checked out Regine and Morisette and they are such amazing power belters. Morisette has good stage presence. Nina has a soft nice tone too. But you are right, Kyla comes close, she also has the melismatic singing gift and the buttery tone. Yay for lambs being successful singers. I want to be their friends lmao. I think Philippines has a great gift of music. I heard of Kyla through Brian McKnight so I guess he also appreciates it. Thanks for explaining it. I'm 1/6 Filipino so I truly appreciate the effort. I've always wondered how music is like there. Truthfully I think some of them can even make it big internationally with the right people. I think Kyla's voice is a mix of Mimi and Beyonce, Rnb princess is well deserved. Warrior, I have no clue but I've seen some compilations of her songs on YouTube. And right? She seemed to be lipping but it's so live. Deedra, it really is. Yeah I have not heard one person give justice to Butterfly, actually I don't know anyone who dared to sing that song except Kyla. She did fab. Mimi L, I really agree, Necklace has to go. She also used it at a dinner with Courtney Love, it didn't match. She seems to be a fan of chest plate necklaces. Though I think when she used one at GMA this year with long pink dress, it really complimented the outfit.

Filipino Lambs (56,533)
by JAXGH from United States

|
That video of the kids singing in school is so freaking cute. It's so adorable they have a little bit of an accent too. I'm realizing how great Philippines music taste is. Mariah is definitely treated like an icon, when I saw how she was welcomed there last year, I think I can say that they are some of the best fans in the world. Good job you guys. I think they honestly have got some of the best singers too, I've looked up Filipino divas and most of them are influenced by Mariah heavily. Particularly there's a singer I've discovered and really was impressed by, named Kyla, I don't really know how old she is but I've heard her sing Miss You Most and you can tell she's a lamb, her voice is very angelic. Similar tone with Mariah, she just made me happy because she sings Mimi songs most people don't know. Check out Mine Again and Butterfly. She did so great. I know she's pretty much emulated Mariah's flow and vocals but that's really the only way to sing MC's songs and I think she gave justice to Butterfly especially. I never thought someone could actually put together that vocal run at the climax. Mariah usually have back up singers continue, but she did it all by herself. It makes me happy that true lambs are successful as singers too. I don't really know how big of an artist she is, but I really do find her vocal abilities amazing, dahling. Filipino Lambs: What's music like in Philippines? What's songs are on the radio? Unlike neighboring countries (Indonesia, Singapore, China etc.). How come Filipinos seems to have better enunciation when they sing? You can barely tell they're foreigners when they sing an English song. Thank you. God bless you guys.

Re: Idolriah body (56,495) (56,497)

Right? Look at her body here. She literally looked her best in 2013. She wasn't too big and not too skinny, her boobs weren't small like on E=MC2 era, Perfect boob to waist ratio and beautiful gorgeous hair, just perfection. Her face literally looked the same as the Butterfly era when she shaded Nicki about Hot 100 #1's. It's actually ridiculous. I'm just starting to realize how much she slayed Nicki's ensembles. Mariah wasn't playing games at all lmao. Her hair and make up were so on point. The rivalry was so real. Now Nicki also has good fashion sense but she was still on the verge of the wigs and flamboyancy at that time so she looked like a joke next to Mariah's A+ hair and make up, expensive royalty dresses and shoes. She just looked so authentic and eye catching-ly stunningly gorgeous while Nicki looked pretty artificial. Mariah's natural exotic beauty out shined her in every way possible. This is probably why Nicki mocked her so many times and would wear the same color hours before the show. Then after Idol, Nicki started to look more normal and appreciated her hair more. I guess she learned a lot from Mariah. Anyway, it would be fabulous if Mimi gets that body and slayage back again.

Mariah's image (56,485)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
I think Mariah, for the most part, looks amazing on TV guestings and higher events. If you look on her instagram, her dress game really is on point. I think the only times she doesn't look that fab is when she's running errands/eating dinner/hanging out/in the studio and a stylist is not hired or around. She sometimes put together outfits that don't go well together, and sometimes look a bit tacky, but really she looked amazing this year. Ellen, Kimmel, Vegas Welcome, BMA, Hollywood Star ceremony were great ensembles. With the hair? Uhm I don't think we will ever see Mimi with a short edgy look, Mariah is obsessed with long hair, maybe for a skit like Bianca but not permanently. To be honest her hair is one of her trademarks, I really don't have any problems with it but I do miss her Daydream and Butterfly hair as well (which she revisited when she did house keeping in Ellen). But yes to darker shade, just for something different.

I agree, and those albums were done when she was aiming for a comeback. Charmbracelet is actually vocally flawless, her upper register is up par with Butterfly and Daydream and Rainbow. The One, I Only Wanted, Yours, Saving Grace and Sunflowers for Alfred Roy are my personal faves. A lot of songs from Memoirs were foiled sadly. HATEU, Angels Cry, Inseperable, Candy Bling and Ribbon are all musically amazing. Even 100% was a great song. I still feel a little sad that Memoirs didn't get much recognition. I remember Mariah saying she wanted it to be like Butterfly and even better, which I honestly think it's close to Butterfly in terms of versatility and rawness. Butterfly just had an old school hiphop feel and production while Memoirs is a lot more modern.

Negativity (56,420)
by JAXGH from United States

People here should try to just love. I find the lambily really incredibly entitled to their opinions and very sensitive that they sometimes forget to just spread the love. It's not a competition. Someone praises an album and someone has to say "nope". Just agree and stay positive. Even if you disagree, just say it on a nicer way. After all, we're all Mariah Carey lambily. God bless you all.

One word, bye? Then you kept going right after. How unreliable. Lmao. Nobody wants to argue with a [censored], [censored], [censored], [censored], [censored] like you. You call people "delusional" when in fact you're the very one who possesses that character. You also put people down a lot time when really they're just trying to get their opinion across. All you do is nag and complain and compare and judge. You're one of those [censored] boys who's mad all the time. Lmao. Oh well. Stay mad.

B, Mimi L, Giovanni, Mirage, new music (55,698)
by JAXGH from United States
| |

|
B, before you insult someone, make sure you know the difference "you're and your" lmfao. You sound halfwitted. Mimi L, I'm not taking [sic] about fandom, that's irrelevant, the lambs go hard all the time, I'm talking about industry people, producers, DJ's and the radio. Mariah's got a bad rep in the business. Giovanni, stop people calling delusional. You are what you speak of. She's not the "best" voice today. Best vocalist yes, but not the best voice. I can name a lot of singers with a much better tone and clarity. But I won't since you're clearly narrow-minded. Mirage, yeah he did. It happened. A lot of kids also dislike Mariah because of Eminem. I can't believe how biased some people are here. Obsessed went nowhere half as hard as The Warning did. Really guys? You think Obsessed won? Like I know you guys love Mariah but I thought the lambs have ears too. Regardless of the success, Eminem smashed lyrically. I know I'm supposed to be on team MC. But at least I'm honest, I'm proud of that. Some of you are in denial. But I am excited for the new music being cooked. I'm sure MC is ready to smash. From the looks of her residency, it looks like she's gotten more comfortable with the upper register, grew even more vocally and just about to slay us again one more time.

Mariah now / Eminem damage (55,670)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
Mariah is still pretty nonetheless, her face is just getting a little chubbier. She needs to lose the face weight. Her figure really isn't that bad. She looks full and thick in night gowns. She still got that awkward tummy from the pregnancy but that be can be easily covered with patterns and curve hugging dresses (example: red dress on her insta 5 weeks ago). So yeah I'm okay with her weight. It's harder to lose weight now since she's 45 and her metabolism isn't as strong so she has to work twice as hard. I'm worried about her voice. It's not as pretty as before. Sounds old and hoarse. I don't know if the magic isn't there. Vocals are there but the voice is not. She actually sounded relatively pretty til E=MC2 then around Memoirs the voice changed. (It was still better than now.) You can tell by the Christmas album she started using auto tune a lot. Also does anyone else think she's remixing Obsessed? She posted a pic 3 days ago. I hope not. Speaking of, after Eminem's diss track, people just started to drop Mariah. And her downfall started to happen. Like a lot of people just started seeing her as "a liar, fake and a [censored]". Nobody even cared about Memoirs. She actually took the hardest diss record in the industry ever. It's sad, Eminem totally murdered her. It even hurts me just listening to it. Eminem really ruined her reputation. It's like heartbreaking. Whatever though, still talented, still successful. 200 million sold and 18 number 1s. Can't take that away.

James Packer (55,508)
by JAXGH from United States
| |

|
Mimi and James probably had that "I also was married to the wrong person" moment and immediately hit it off. Since they are both divorced. Twice. Coincidence? Haha. I think James is still on the pursuing part. It's good to see Mariah getting pampered. James is probably head over heels Mariah. When I think about it, I mean, they both have been rich all their lives. Both very successful. Both live lavishing extravagant lifestyles. Both very private. Both aging. Both been married twice and failed. Both have kids. Who knows guys? He could be the one. Let's hope for the best. After all he might just be God's answer for Mariah's prayers. Also he looks a little bit like Monroe. Am I the only one who see the resemblance?

Mirage (55,088)

You’re clearly overacting. “Are you a perfect saint yourself?” Lmao. Guess what? None of those artists are real Christians. Mariah freaking Carey is the only one who genuinely put her love of God through her music. She even said it herself (with 18 #1). She is a true testament that nothing is possible with the Lord. Heck her first single was her offering to God. Why do you think she’s the most successful? Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Eminem are gimmick artists. Don’t you ever compare. That wasn’t my logic either. My main point was the devil will go after truly talented influential artists and tear them apart (i.e. Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson). I did not say Mariah Carey is evil. I said the devil always would do something to mess up artists used by God. It’s evident in her love and professional life. After she reached success and happiness, evil got Nick, the foundation ended. Satan succeeded on ending the union. The whole entire world judges Mariah Carey so you don’t have to be so uptight about it. What you do is pray, keep praying for her. Nicki Minaj didn’t make it hard. Mariah made it hard. Nicki Minaj always acknowledged Mariah’s legendary status and gave her love, even when the fight broke out. She kept it real. Her feelings really was hurt. The truth is Nicki outshined Mariah. Mariah didn’t like it, threw shots, got what she deserved right back, held a grudge and it went on the whole season. Point dot dot. Nonetheless it’s over so let’s move on and hope the best for her.

B, Lamb O Chop (55,059)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
B, the feud was not "fake" what so ever. The grudge is real. Mariah continuously threw shade to Nicki even after Idol. Nicki even slammed Mariah on Twitter. Yes the leaked video of them was definitely "orchestrated" but the two truly did not get long on or off cam. Jesus would have loved if Mariah and Nicki forgave each other, motivated and pushed each other to become better judges, harmonized personalities, became a great team, and showed sisterly love on TV, but no she let hate and pride take over. They almost never glanced on each other at the live shows. The devil got Nick and let temptation took over him, ultimately plotting to ruin their union. She also threw some shade on the WMA to Ariana. But I am grateful that she is moving on. I wish her well. Lamb O Chop, there's a difference between judging and telling the truth. I am aware that Mariah is a good person. A beautiful soul, that's been bruised. Sadly. Her action shows she's hurt. She usually get back with her enemies through a diss. This is why I said it's the "devil". Not her. The Lord wants you to really love the unloveable. Maybe Mariah has just been truly hurt before so she has a hard time forgiving people. I know inside she wants to love everybody and I know she prays for her enemies, just sometimes the action doesn't match what she says. But yes, do pray for her. God bless you. I am just happy she is moving on. Prayers work to keep going.

The devil (55,042)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
Am I the only who see how the devil ruined Mariah Carey's life? Wrath, envy, pride (all involved in Nicki Minaj's feud), greed ($18 Million), sloth (countless lip syncing), lust (Nick possibly cheating, naming women he smashed, which also was the start of the downfall, Nick even said it, "if our marriage didn't work out, it's solely your fault"). The devil knows Mariah knows the Lord, and is the most influential artist of all time, she isn't afraid to include Jesus is her music either. So he tried to take Mariah down. He's out there making her give doubts towards Nick (he is also after Nick, I am positive he cheated) making her hold grudges towards other artists (Nicki, Ariana). I actually am kind of disappointed with Mariah's action since Obsessed, great artists do not diss other artists. As a Christian, she should be well aware that hate is not the answer. What ever happened to "love your enemies" (I wish you well). She still doing it with "Infinity" dissing Nick. I honestly think it's too soon to be dating either. She's clearly on revenge. She's full of loathe. It's saddening to see a marriage with great foundation fall apart. The devil has pretty much killed her career too (lip syncing caught, low sales, Infinity flopping). All the unrighteous she did, return right back. May I ask all lambs to pray for Mariah? Please. For her to be saved and get things together. Pray for success, protection, happiness and salvation. Include Nick and the kids as well. Thank you.

Infinity radio friendly (52,341)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
This song is not even close to being radio friendly. What are you guys on? The lyrics are inaudible. You can barely tell what the hell she's saying because the runs are over done. Her head/whisper tone didn't help either. It makes it even harder to comprehend what she's singing. I'm convinced some lambs really kiss too much ass. Just because her riffs are used, doesn't mean it's great. It's actually over done at this point. She used the same riffs in Heavenly. Great examples of radio friendly is ABMB, WBT, Shake It Off, My All, It's Like That. Clear, easy to understand, catchy, simplicity at it's finest. People will not hear "ain't no false pretense, ain't no make amends" unless they're reading the lyric video which they won't. Lots of Mariah songs are actually inaudible because either the word she uses is unfamiliar and she's singing too fast/whispery/head tone/it's fading. I'm being bold because this is really a hot mess. C'mon Mariah step up your vocal/production/music choices. All this anticipation for another buzz/mediocre single.

Infinity (52,325)
by JAXGH from United States
| |

|
I don't dig it. Sorry lambs, this song just doesn't have it. Another TAOLG. What is going on? Did she really think this was "hot"? Love Story is even better vocally and melodically (complete opposite of Infinity lol). I noticed there's so many single material on E=MC2, and she chooses a mediocre song? Love Story, Migrate, For The Record, Cruise Control, Last Kiss. It's actually an excellent album. Sad to see it completely foiled and wasted. YDKWTD was also an amazing single but no promotion. Infinity is like Sweetheart/You're Mine. Lackluster and forgettable. I hope she releases a better single because this song is whack. I'm so sorry. I see Sam Smith/Ed Sheeran/John Legend smashing the charts with ballads. People are actually noticing voices now. Why is Mariah still all up on fast inaudible whispery records? Seriously guys, what the hell? The production is nothing new. What is up with her voice? It sounds so tired. I really miss the buttery beautiful amazing tone of Daydream and Butterfly era. Sad it will never come back.

Plot twist: no divorce (51,961)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
I already called it and I knew this divorce was never gonna happen. They may have hit the rocks but God continually works with them. Mariah is feeling happier than ever with this attitude and confidence she's showing. Nick is the same. He made mistakes but he is the same guy who loves and supports Mariah. Unconditionally. The devil is out there to break families, divide unions and ruin relationships. Hence why there's so many divorces annually. But honestly, they won. The relationship is rooted in God and God is love, and love always wins. They will never be apart. There's a reason why Mariah posted that family picture. Nick was meant for Mariah. Successful, child-like, hilarious, hard-working and God-fearing. Believe me they lasted this long for a reason. He never once used Mariah either. Some of you all don't realize that Nick actually devoted his life to Mariah and gave her the unconditional love she deserves and the family she's always dreamed of. I can't think of any guy who would do that, other than Nick. As lambs, we need to support their union and stop putting their relationship down. Let's be happy everything is back on track. She finally has a great management. Nick continually loves and supports. The babies are happy and healthy. Mariah continually pushes through, working on music and herself. I'm excited for this era. We've hit rock bottom for a while and now it's time for us to rise.

Mariah's sound (50,950)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
I was listening to I'll Be There and realized how much Trey Lorenz sounds the same pretty much. And how Mariah sounds distinctively different in every era. I think it's amazing how she sounds so different in every album. Literally the only artist who's voice really evolved. Because some one could listen to an unreleased song by MC not knowing when it was recorded but a true lamb will know which era it was done just by listening to Mariah's voice. Do you guys get what I mean? 1990-92, she was a power vocalist, 93-94 got more soulful, 95-96 voice evolved and she mastered the art of style, 97 she looked and sounded the best, this was her prettiest year and her own style really came out, voice completely matured, the real Mariah. 98-2001, still was amazing years vocally in the studio, 2002-04, the whisper years lmao, 2005-07, she grew even more vocally, 2008-9, I know she didnt sound like Butterfly but still were good years artistically, 2010-2014, it kind of went down hill from there. But nonetheless Mariah is amazing. Praying for a miracle for 95-97 Mariah to come back. Please Lord.

Silver anniversary concert (50,662)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
On June 12 (MC's debut) Mariah is exactly 25 years in the business and this needs to be celebrated the right way. A star studded anniversary concert would be amazing. Everyone needs to be there. Boyz II Men, Michael Buble, Jay Z, Miguel, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, Ne-Yo, Westlife, Joe, 98 Degrees, Usher, Justin Bieber, Bone Thugz, Snoop, The Dream, John Legend, Wale, Jermaine, Babyface, T-Pain, all her amazing collaborators. Even all the divas she inspired/was inspired by - Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Rihanna. Who ever the hell she wants. I'm sure it's possible, like forget their talent fees. It's freaking Mariah Carey 25 years in the business and I'm sure it would be an honor to be a part of such monumental event. It's just a matter of being contacted. Mariah deserves an amazing tribute. This would be a glimmer of hope on getting the respect she deserves. Once the people see a lot of artists actually love her and appreciate her talent, they will realize how much of a legend she is. It also needs to be televised and shown the right away. With tidbits, unknown stories, testimonies about how each artist was inspired by MC, rare footage, artists talking about Mariah positively (vocals, artistry, inspiration, work ethic, generosity, kindness, her beautiful mind). Nothing negative. It's about time. Not a single artist can compete with her legacy and longevity. 25 years baby. She deserves this concert.

Rihanna as a threat, a big joke (50,020)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|

Rihanna is 26, not 24. Technically she only has 10. Live Your Life, Love The Way You Lie and Monster are only features. She also wrote and produced 0 of those 13 songs. Rihanna has a good voice but even if she scores more number 1's, Mariah's legacy will never ever be touched. Ever. Please don't ever think that Rihanna will even come close. Mariah wrote and produced all 18 except one. She co wrote and co produced every single song in every album, makes you realize how much of a hard worker she is. And the great thing about those number ones is you know it's really Mariah's heart and soul. Rihanna has a great ear for music but she gets by, by singing other people's songs. What will happen if she hits 30 and is not favored by producers anymore? Mariah was there from the scratch to completion of every song. Rihanna will never surpass Mariah's legacy as a song-writer, producer, vocalist and an inspiration. She actually mentioned she looked up to Mariah all her life so that's good she's following her footsteps, but please, there will never be another artist like Mariah freaking Carey. The greatest artist of all time.

Grammys (49,971)
by JAXGH from United States
| |
|
|
Mariah doesn't even care for the Grammys. Ever since they jipped her with Daydream, she knew this "award" show was extremely political. She's never put any faith on it. It's not even about music excellence. Because if it was, Butterfly would have won every single category. Undeniably one of the greatest albums of all time. Also the most underrated. It kind of irks me how Beyonce has 20 when she steals other people songs and take credits for song writing (If I Were A Boy, Irreplaceable, Smash Into You, etc.) and people treat her like she's the queen when really she's the queen plagiarism. I respect her for singing live but stealing and making money out of other people's music and claiming it as your own is actually far worse than lip syncing.

What kind of insider knowledge do you need? Lmao. It's out. You don't need "access" or "insiders". You just need to have really good ears. It's been out. It's not a secret. Slander and defamation? For what? For being honest? He's not the only who knows it. Even if he gets sued, he will definitely win. Trey, Kelly, Walter, her music director, her pianist, her audio engineer, her band, her team, her back up singers know it. They all know it. Even a non fan knows Mariah's tricks and lip syncing. He didn't ruin her "reputation". Mariah ruined it herself. Nate knows how Mariah works, he's written, collaborated, sang with her. Hell he had even lip synced with her. He knows her personally and frankly he's a fan. And all fans know Mariah's lip syncing ways. He's not sabotaging nor ridiculing her. Nate addressed the issue because of Mariah being caught. Nate was direct and honest. He didn't say one mean word to Mariah, he actually helped her by giving a genuine advice which I'm sure he's done before for all the gimmick to stop. Sadly it has to come to the point where Mariah's lies are exposed and the whole world has to know. Nate is helping Mariah before she completely ruins her credibility as a live performer. Their shows aren't even on the same dates so this is not a "competition" issue but simply a friend caring and wanting a friend to stop her bad habits.

I can't even believe some fans have the urge to disagree with Nathan. "Real" friends tell it how it is. "Real" friends don't play games. "Real" friends will not say what you want to hear, rather tell you what you need to work on. "Real" friends will go there just to help you and wake you up. "Real" friends will keep it real. And that's exactly what he did. I applaud him for that. He's probably the only artist in the industry that really took the time to keep it real for Mariah, just so she gets out of this horrendous habit. Thank you Nathan. As a musician himself and of course, he's closer to Mariah than any of us. This is really amazing to read. Everyone tweet the link to Mariah. She needs to read it. Mariah knows his credibility, after all it might just be the only thing that can help save her.

Who else loves the WBT improvisations? The way she sang "and it's breaking my heart, keep it together" was so beautiful. When she sang "together", it sounded like 1995. It is such a breath of fresh air. I keep replaying it. I am pleasantly surprised. My current favorite WBT version. She could actually belt it if she wanted to. Her voice was on point that night. I would be very happy to see her sing the climax, one time live please. This is why I never lose hope. Her improvisations and musicality is still ridiculous. I never knew WBT could sound even more beautiful. Mariah brings it when she's pissed off lmao. I love this version so much. She gave a whole new meaning to the song. Anyway anyone knows if Mariah reads the comments in this site?
