About LC from USA: I am a lamb in high school and I've been a Mariah fan all my life! She is the reason I sing and write songs and she's impacted my life in so many ways.

Wendy Williams (46,880) by LC from USA
As Whitney famously said to her "Watch what the f*** you say." Wendy is just... something else. She claims to be a lamb, yet not only does she criticize Mariah's personal life, but she also spreads lies as if they were truth. She wants to bring up Jennifer Lopez all the time and compare her to Mariah like they're on the same level, yet she forgets to say that Mariah is a legend with one of the best talents in the music industry, while Jennifer (who she claims is so much more relevant and successful than MC) cannot sing, has a heavily promoted new album that struggled to sell half of what MIAM sold, and is just desperately clinging on to her ass(ets) to remain relevant. I just don't understand why Wendy seems to try and destroy Mariah. Is she bitter, jealous? I don't know. But, for some reason whenever Mariah's name is brought up, she says the most horrible things.

Faded and You Don't Know What To Do (46,668) by LC from USA
Let me start off by saying that these two are two of my favorite songs on the album. They're incredible. Some fans were saying that Mariah could've written these songs about Nick. I don't think that's true simply because she wrote these in 2012/2013. If you don't remember, she first referenced lyrics from YDKWTD on the first episode of Idol, when she said to Nicki, "You love me more than you love sunny, summer days." As for Faded, which is the track most fans seem to think is the most about Nick, Mike Will Made It, the coproducer of the song shared a TBT pic of him and Mariah in the studio recording it and it is obvious that she did that after or before the episode of Idol when she premiered the #Beautiful video. She's wearing the same dress and has the same hair. So, it is possible that she didn't write these about him.

CRT (46,641) by LC from USA
I've always wondered what this meant because I saw this a lot on YouTube comments, especially when I was just beginning to be a lamb and I would watch all of Mariah's old interviews and live performances (of course I still do, but not as much as back then lol) and in the comments section, there were many people saying "CRT forever" or "I love Mariah forever. CRT." I then did some research and the only thing I could find was the name "Charles Ryan Thornton". People would comment that as well. Yet still, to this day, I have no clue what this means at all. Does anyone know, or could possibly shed some light on it?

Moving truck / Edward (46,592) by LC from USA
Lol, you made me laugh with your last comment. Honestly, it's an apartment complex in Manhattan. People move out everyday. Ugh, the media is just preposterous. But, I think we can tell there is absolutely no truth to that article because it states that Mariah is moving out. Um. Why would she move out of her 9,000,000 dollar dream penthouse she's been living in for more than a decade? Lol. These people make up the craziest things.

Haha, in Auld Lang Syne, right? Yeah, I thought that was really cute too. And no, I'm not on the Amazon forum. What is it? I just recently joined this messageboard, so I'm not that familiar with other ones lol.

Ok, I'm a big Michael Jackson fan as well, but have you ever heard him ask the crowd if they know "Beat It" or "Billie Jean" or "Thriller"? Or have you heard a Whitney ask the crowd if they know "I Will Always Love You"? Or Celine with "My Heart Will Go On"? They never do because they are confident enough to know that everyone in the crowd knows the song. On American Idol last year, during We Belong Together, arguably one of Mariah's biggest hits ever, she told the crowd of lambs, "Sing along if you know it, and if you don't try." That's what I'm talking about. You don't know every song, but if you don't know WBT or ABMB, then why are you even on this site? Now, I've changed my mind about it and now see it as an act of humility and/or a crowd pleaser because she gets cheers every time she asks. But, I used to hate when she asked that because what kind of fan doesn't know those songs?

MimiLamb / PJW (46,579) by LC from USA
Thanks for getting what I mean PJW, and I never really thought about it that way, so that's a good point. And MimiLamb, what I really mean is that I have never seen an artist of her stature ask something like that. You would rarely or never hear Whitney, Celine, Michael, Madonna or Janet ever ask that during their concerts. Those are people on Mariah's level as legendary superstars, and the one thing they all have that Mariah doesn't have is confidence on stage. A comparison I once read about Whitney and Mariah was that Mariah pleaded with the audience for their attention, while Whitney commanded it. It seems pretty accurate because in my opinion, Mariah is a lot more humble on stage than Whitney or any of the other performers. (Maybe because she didn't grow up performing like they did? I think she said that.) But it really used to annoy me how she would never acknowledge her status. But, idk lol. I'm okay with it now.

"Do you know this song?" (46,569) by LC from USA
I used to hate when Mariah asked this at concerts. I mean, most notably, last year, when she was singing "Love Takes Time" in Sydney, she asked the audience, "Do you know this?" But, which Mariah fan doesn't know this song? Also, in one of her TAOM concerts, she was singing ABMB and asked the audience if they remembered it. I just... Ugh. A legend like her should be commanding of the stage by now. It annoyed me sometimes how unassuming and insecure she was and is of her status, especially for the "demanding diva" she is painted as by the media. But then, I thought about it, and it's what makes me love her even more. She is so humble. Her asking this shows that even to her fans, who love and adore her and her music so much, she would never be so presumptuous as to assume we know her songs, even if they are some of her biggest hits. She explained in an interview that she hides behind the diva persona sometimes but that's not who she really is. Her asking this during her shows proves that. I just wish the general public would see that side of her, too.

Hard worker (46,508) by LC from USA
I just remembered coming across a quote from P. Diddy about Mariah and her work ethic that really makes me so impressed with and in awe of her. It was about rapping or helping produce on "Honey" (I can't really remember). He said something along the lines of how she gave him over 100 different tracks of her singing "Honey" in different ways just to make sure he had a variety to choose from, and because she wasn't sure which vocal of hers she liked best. Wow. I'm just so awestruck with how hard this woman works. Imagine that. Just one song and she had 100 different tracks. How much work and time does she put on each album? It's incredible. First, she writes, which is already awe-inspiring because a vocalist and megastar of her calibre could easily buy writing credits or just not write at all, but then she works so hard on perfecting every single line. She's just a musical genius. I also remember right after Whitney passed, music producers were praising how she was "like a laser" because she could sing her songs in one take. But to me, that's really not that impressive because Mariah could do it, especially in her prime, but she wouldn't because she wouldn't be satisfied with just one take. She is a genius. I love her so much.

Billboard article (46,459) by LC from USA
I really liked this article. It was really good and unbiased, especially for Billboard which has been really shady towards Mariah lately. I mean, really? They gave MIAM a 77, then gave J. Lo's album a 78? Not so slick. But this article is really good. It sounds like it was written by a fan of Mariah, and one who really understands her music. Like, I totally agree with what he or she pointed out. Mariah has explored many genres throughout her career, but every album has its own sound. She works on an album as a whole piece of art, unlike artists out today who just try to "write" or compile potential singles. That's what sets her catalogue apart from those of the artists today and even some of her fellow legends/contemporaries. Ariana has a good voice and has a lot of potential. But she is no Mariah. Mariah is more than the greatest vocalist. She is a true artist. She knows how to make music into art. That's what sets her apart from Ariana, and almost everyone else.

Watch out, Nick continued (46,412) by LC from USA
I agree. Nick should really watch out. He knows Mariah better than anybody, and from what we know about her, she knows how to get back at someone. There have been rumors that Nick has been badmouthing Mariah through his family members because of the gag order, and if he is, he better get ready. Mariah has all the resources at her disposal to destroy his image and career. Honestly, she could just stage one interview with Barbara Walters or Oprah, and Nick would be done. Not to mention how she could trash him with music. Obsessed, Side Effects, Clown, and Thirsty will seem like light work compared to what else she could say. And did anyone see how ruthless the lambs were to his father on Facebook? He had to take back everything he may or may not have said about M. I know Mariah will take the classy way, as she always does, but that doesn't mean it won't be effective. Her shade is iconic and she'll shade Nick to the ground.

Andrew (46,372) by LC from USA
Or not. I was really really young when Glitter happened, so I don't really know how that was, but from what I have read, everyone counted her out. Everyone thought her career was over and that she'd never come back. Then, after a few years, she made the greatest comeback in pop music history. Mariah is still capable of returning to the top of the charts. With the right promotion, she still has the interest of the public. I don't know if you remember, but during Idol, Mariah's presence on social media more than doubled and she was gaining 30k+ followers a day on Twitter alone. She went from 6 million to 13 million. She's also still in the top 50 most followed accounts in the world on Twitter. That means she still holds some relevance to the public on that level. Then, of course, #Beautiful. It was a top 20 hit, went platinum, was the second best selling R&B digital song of the year, and had the potential to go top 10, if she had promoted more and hadn't had the accident. If Mariah really works, she can do it. Don't count her out. I've only been a lamb for a few years, but I know I'll never give up on her. And if you're a real fan, neither should you.

TMZ clip (46,366) by LC from USA
I know that everyone is probably going to focus on Mariah's response to the reporter's questions, but can I just say, Mariah looks incredible in this video. Wow. I'm stunned. I don't know if it's just me, or the camera angle, but it looks like she really lost some of the weight that she's gained recently in her face. Either way, she is always beautiful. I love it when her hair is natural and there's minimal makeup. She looks amazing.

Divorce inaccuracies/ gossip (46,329) by LC from USA
Has anyone been reading/watching what the "news" sites are saying about Mariah? They are painting her like some needy housewife without any relevance, while showing Nick as the victim of her diva wrath. I can't believe all of this slander. The Breakfast Club people (who were kissing ass when she was there) are now saying that Mariah is irrelevant and "hasn't sold a record since 1990", while saying Nick "won". It seems to me that almost everyone believes that Mariah is some horrible diva who shouldn't be mad about Nick's past relationships and is dumb for being mad about him working. Ugh. I am so so so pissed at all of this. People can be so shallow. We know nothing about the situation, so I wish they would shut up. I cannot wait until Mariah's statement. I cannot wait until she sets everything straight and shuts up all these haters. But until then, what I love to see is all lambs have put aside the trivialities and united in support of Mariah. Amidst all of the arguments over promo, sales, her reputation, etc., at the end of the day, we all love her and it's beautiful to see. I really hope she knows that.

Mariah's wedding ring (46,136) by LC from USA
Also, I know that everybody has been questioning why Mariah doesn't wear her wedding/engagement ring anymore and only her butterfly ring. First of all, Mariah has been keeping her wedding ring on no matter what. It's only her engagement ring that has gone missing. But this isn't recent. If you look at her pictures, she's been wearing only her wedding ring/butterfly ring as early as February during the promotion of You're Mine. But if we try to think even deeper, did you notice that Mariah always wore her butterfly ring on her right hand, while keeping her left hand reserved for her wedding/engagement rings? But, what happened to her right arm/hand last year? Nerve damage. Which is why she always wears a glove there, on that hand. Maybe because the butterfly is her signature, she just can't get rid of it and decided that since she can't wear a ring on her right hand (maybe it still hurts, I don't know), she would just replace her engagement ring with the butterfly ring. But she has still kept her wedding ring on, no matter what. Again, that's just my two cents. Does anyone else think the same?

Nikki / Mariah and Nick again (46,134) by LC from USA
Thanks Nikki. I really was just trying to think it through. I think it's obvious that Mariah doesn't like that Nick is so outspoken. Even before all these rumors of divorce, she'd been saying that she thinks Nick talks too much. Then when asked about it, she'd play it off like she didn't care. She'd say things like "it's not like I'm really bothered or anything, he can do what he wants", when we all knew she wanted to be more private. What if she has given Nick some kind of ultimatum, like if he can't shut up, there will be a divorce. Because I remember when he was on Power 106 a couple of months ago, he said to the host, "If my marriage doesn't work out, it'll be because of the things I've said on this show." So maybe, by avoiding questions about his love life, which he has never ever done before, he's trying to prove to Mariah that he can and will be more private. But that's just my two cents.

Mariah and Nick (46,125) by LC from USA
I know that a lot of people are saying that Mariah and Nick might be getting a divorce because of Nick's absence from social media and his lack of comments about his and Mariah's relationship recently. But, does anybody else think that maybe Nick is keeping quiet and doing all these things to fix the marriage? I mean, in most of Mariah's recent interviews (namely, The Breakfast Club), whenever asked about him, she has been saying that Nick says too much and that she'd like their relationship to be more private. And recently, in interviews, Nick has been talking strictly business and entertainment, avoiding conversations about Mariah and his family. Does anybody else think this might be the case?

Webmaster (46,111) by LC from USA
Hi Webmaster, I'm a dedicated Mariah fan and I've been visiting this page for 5 years now. It's my first time posting, so I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I noticed your post about Mariah's PR team claiming she has sold 220 million albums worldwide and you disagreed with the statement, saying that she had sold only 200 million albums a few months ago and that this was impossible. Well, could it be that there was a recalculation of Mariah's worldwide sales? I mean, it seems to be updated every era, because during the Memoirs era, it was always 160-175 million albums worldwide. Then after, she used 200 million albums. I understand that it is an inflated number, but according to Billboard or Soundscan rules, an artist can claim to have sold however many records as long as 20 percent are certified. I mean look at Madonna's sales. In 2000 she had sold 120 million albums, then all of a sudden it's 250 million in just a few years, when it's obvious she didn't sell 130 million albums in that time. I'm just saying I think Mariah has every right to say how much she's sold because with all the disrespect going on, she needs to let people know who she is. Thank you for hosting such a great site.
