Was that a reason to lose it ? (37,128)
by Carol from Spain

Anyway, it proved that Nicki is weird and had no reason to snap. Why do I continue posting about Nicki? Because she is pathetic. If that's all that was for her to go up the walls, then she has a problem in accepting other people's opinions. Keith Urban is a country singer and wasn't a fan of the performance, Mariah and Randy gave the contestant positive criticism inside his genre. Why did she snap?

Nicki: the jealous one (37,122)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
The problem on AI is that Nicki Minaj is absolutely jealous of Mariah. Everytime a contestant says Mariah influenced them in some way, if the camera focuses on Nicki`s face we can see her roll her eyes out. Nicki has nothing to show for her career, absolutely nothing. Mariah's album Glitter, considered a flop, sold more then Nicki Minaj `s three albums. Need to say more? From now on, I'll be very upset if someone says Glitter was a flop. Altough I think Nicki is not that bad as a judge, she lacks as a person.

Hope Street? (37,118)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
Honeslty, I don't believe Hope Street is a song. Not from Mimi. Maybe I'm wrong. And then I don't understand the comment of "Joni Mitchell on steroids". Are they criticizing or what? It's a rude comment or not? I just want new exciting music to own.

AI first impressions (37,108)
by Carol from Spain

I'm loving to see MCC on Idol. She is absolutely what the show needed. Some say the bikery between her and Nicki overshadows the show, I don't agree. I'm pleasently surprised by Nicki also. Altough I still believe she shouldn't be on it because of her posture, I think Nicki is not so bad. Mariah is so nurturing towards the contestants, but still says things as they are and I love it. The one thing I don't like is how Nicki is so jealus of Mariah. Everytime a contestant says he/she was influenced by Mimi, we can see Nicki roll her eyes out.

Your toughts on TM? I love it and I sign underneath. If his influence on Mariah made her a success, then her success also allowed him to grow as an executive. Two edged sword.

New album is been a long time coming (37,067)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
For the next album, I got great expectations. I'm not looking for another Daydream or Music Box style, but I hope she brings back something outside the box that blows anyone away. Honestly? Any album is better then no album at all. The world's been without her music for so long that I need my MC collection to grow an inch this year. Mariah always delivers something different. This can be her success or her downfall, but she always stays triumphant.

Regarding the movie, I've honestly seen worse. I liked the story, liked the image and the 80's feeling the movie carries troughout. However, I think she didn't chose the best director for the movie. When I referred to Glitter, I meant the album. Tommy stole her collaboration with Ja Rule and gave the concept to J Lo, because she was high at the time. The album, for me, is her best, after Daydream. She dared, she was doing something beyond her time and people just didn't get it. Also the events of that week didn't help. Tommy was responsible for the failure of Glitter the album.

Tommy's input (37,053)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
Recognizing Tommy's influence on Mariah's early years is fair. I'm not even arguing on that, But she always struggled from creative control over her work, she never expected that Tommy would be so controlling, so she allowed him to do things his way in the beginning. On the other hand, I think Mariah's success would come, because, besides Sony, another label (Warner) was interested in her. If he was responsible for her success, then he was also responsible for her downfall in 2001, when he sabottaged her album Glitter and her movie. I guess he forgot to mention that. He was responsible for the fact she didn't get the song "My heart will go on". He was upset she left him, so he tried to destroy her, but Mariah showed us how strong she is and prevaled. Just because someone gives you a helping hand, it doesn't mean you must crawl at that person's feet for life. Mariah ows nothing to Tommy, except the chance he gave her with her first album. She owns her success, not him. Let's not foget that, after Mariah, also Michael Jackson spoke he was not a good guy, J-Lo left the label because of controlling issues. So something was wrong, beyond Mariah.

Aussie fans critics have no reason to be (37,044)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
I'm finding it hard to believe some Australian fans are upset because she didn't sing that many songs. Well, she did sing, didn't she? The quantity is not important, but the awesome quality she delivered. I don't want to step on any lambs feet, but she never came to my country and many of us here would give a foot and a leg to have her sing one song in Portugal. Eight amazing songs is rather good. And the fact she leaves the stage too much? Come on, if you're a lamb you know that's about to happen, right? Be grateful, because you guys got a chance that maybe I'll never have.

Emotions was perfect (37,033)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
Mariah didn't deliver the high notes on Emotions. Are these people listening to the same thing as I am? I think the videos they are seeing are just forged to make her sound bad. She hit all the notes perfectly, never mind the critics. Now they say she didn't hit the notes on Emotions. Why bother reading the reviews these days. She was flawless and some people just can't take this level of perfection, because these days people are just used to bad singing.

Haters gonna hate and that is the honest truth. How can someone write that Mariah didn't deliver in Sidney? Are they deaf? If Mariah doesn't deliver in Sidney, can someone tell me who delievers than? Honestly? She did not deliver, she slayed Sidney and gave a new meaning to the word "singer".

Mariah can do no wrong (37,022)
by Carol from Spain
| |

I've seen videos of our queen in Sidney and iImust say I love you even more Mariah, because you are the definition of vocal perfection. Who cares if she screws up sometimes? She proves with these shows that she can do better than any new artist out there without striping onstage or being obscene. Maybe she should do a dvd of this mini tour.

Yes, she is in the house and brought it down (37,014)
by Carol from Spain

Yes Sirs and Madams, she delievered, she came with a full baggage of clothing and sparkle and actual talent. I'm so jealous of Aussie fans, but so proud of Mrs Mariah Carey Cannon for being the awsome singer, consumated songwritter and producer, actually talented person that she is. And yes, she is the only diva, the only one who can carry the title, because she is not just a girl with a hit record, she is a singer in the actual meaning of the word. Triumphant on the entrance and festive as she left. Be a lamb with pride, I know I am. I always have been proud.

Aspen Holidays (36,999)
by Carol from Spain

Mariah's outfit is very unique. Not the best fashion statement, but I kinda like when she is that unpredictable. I wonder if the papparazzi go to Aspen to wait for the artists or something, because they are always on top of the event lol. I wonder if we'll see dem babies toddling around this year. I hope Nick has a better time this years, since it's been a year he had his problem.

Nick, dem babies and candid shots (36,997)
by Carol from Spain

I love these candid moments Mariah and Nick share with us. How cute is it to see Nick with lamb slippers? Ha ha. I can see Monroe 's gonna be a eye stopper in a few years, because she is just looking gorgeous already. Maybe someday, Guess or Prada will hire dem babies for a campaign or something. Where do you think their second birthday will be celebrated in 2013? London? Caribbean? Japan? Well, with Mimi anything is possible.

Better promotion (36,996)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
I believe 2013 is gonna be the year of Mariah. I mean, we got Idol in January, then comes a new album and finally we hope a tour. One big part of Mariah's problems is, from my point of view, the promotion part that hasn't been handled correctly in these last few years. E=MC2 and Memoirs deserved better promotion, and they never got it. Hopefully, her management team takes her Idol participation in account and takes some benefit from it.

New music, whatever it is, I want it (36,995)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
Regarding MC's new music, like I said it before, I just hope the audiences embrace it. Whatever. Mimi needs to be herself and not follow any kind of artist. People just need to accept that Mariah is unique and always makes the music she wants. I don't want another Rhianna, another Gaga who uses controversy to sell, Mimi is way better then all of them for that. Either it's RnB, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, I know Mariah will give us good and well constructed tunes that don't follow any patterns for the sake of selling. At this point, i just want new a new album, really.

Rainbow fever (36,986)
by Carol from Spain

Today, while I worked, I think I hummed most of the songs from the Rainbow album. This album is just amazing and has one of the songs that showcases Mimi's whistle - Bliss. Some like it, some hate it, but this song shows that her whistle isn't something to fool around. I believe it's a very hard song to perform life, but I would love to see it live.

Mariah's album and Billboard (36,985)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
According to Billboard, Mariah's album is the most anticipated album of 2013. This only shows that she is far from being forgotten. My biggest regret is that the radio stations refuse to play her songs, because they might think she's not "fashinable" enough. I don't know, maybe I'm over reacting, but I really want Mimi's album to be top notch. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for this one.

I realize Mariah is late all the time, but she didn't do this when she was starting up. 6 hours? That was mean of her. And besides, she earned her diva status, unlike Mimi. But I think Mimi is getting better with her schedules, don' t you? She's on baby time.

Old and new (36,969)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
I said it before and say it again: people need to wish the past was now. Mariah changed and another time like Music Box won't come back. Mariah changed, went on a different path and embraced her sexier musical side. Honestly, if an artist does the same thing all over again, what's the point? I love how she evolved as an artist and embraced her criativity and we know more about her taste in music. Altough we can clearly see a difference in her music from album one to now, I don't think the music nowadays isn't recognizable as some fans say. I can still say that's a Mariah song, even before I know it's hers. I quite frankly love the emancipated and free Mimi. I think, before Butterfly, that wasn't Mariah being her.

Mariah's not around only for Christmas (36,968)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
A guy told me on my facebook earlier that Mariah only appeared on Christmas, like Santa Claus. My first reaction to this was "That's because you're sleeping the rest of the year, darling." It may not be the best of answers, but really? Come on: she had several performances, was awarded twice for her career this year, been in London and Macau quite frankly. I asked him if he heard the news about her husband health issues early this year and he just said "Yes I have", so iIjust fought back by saying if it's bad people know about it, but if it's a good thing like concerts and awards then people don't remember, short memory. People need to pay more attention to her career, forget the bad times and enjoy all the things she offers us every year.

Nicki's and Mariah's AI divalicious moments (36,967)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
It's crazy to me to see how Nicki is turning out to be a bigger diva than Mariah. And i don't mean it in a nice way. A few years back, people talked about Mariah's divalicious demands and bad behaviour and quite frankly, I never saw anything that made me think these rumours were correct. Unlike Nicki, who has weird behaviours all the time. I mean, arriving late two hours for some hidden reason and looking like she got out of bed. Mariah may be whatever, but I'm sure if she made everyone wait two hours, she would be amazing and classic because the girl has taste and definitly knows how to behave in public. Saying this, I believe even more that the fight between them was caused by Nicki because she thinks she's better then anyone else. Our girl knows how to behave properly.
Webmaster: Mariah is notorious for being late and she never gives an excuse for being late. Just check the numerous stories on my website. One time, I had to wait for almost six hours, because she was late for a meet and greet.

Mariah Carey is re defining "fashionably late " (36,942)
by Carol from Spain
| |
|
|
Damn, is Mariah epic or not? Merry Christmas is officialy certified the most successful Christmas album ever, supassing Celine's. It took 18 years for this, but she did it. My lambitude is on an all time high. Better than this, only a 19 th number one. Let's see the video on YouTube and buy it on iTunes, because we can do this.
