About MimiLamb from Germany: Me and Mariah go back like babies with pacifiers! Fan since I heard VOL the first time as a little 9 year old girl!

Opinions is what makes us different from each other (45,823) by MimiLamb from Germany I don't think it's the negativity or being critical that's the problem here, it's the way it's said that goes way too far at times. I don't believe that there is a fan out there that thinks everything is perfectly fine, it's the way to go about it is what makes my skin crawl sometimes. Mariah has been in my life for 24 years flaws and all. She brought me joy and hope like she did so many. That's why I don't go around expressing and sometimes even bashing her, I see her as a person a human being that will do things I don't agree with or things I wouldn't do if I were to be in her shoes. There is a difference that I don't see the need to express this over and over again. When I look at my own life there are many things I would have done different but guess what that makes us human and mistakes are there to be made to learn from them. Ofcourse a healthy balance is important but that is a thing that's off. Not only the people that are negative get critic here, the people that have positive things to say get the same, like your delusional or you can't see no wrong. It goes both ways, hand in hand if you will. Even I can sit here and read a critical comment nodding and agreeing. But I will never stop seeing the positive and pointing it out, we live in a negative world as it is. For me being a Lamb is a positive thing. Can we please give some attention to the lovely shoutout Mariah gave us as well. I mentioned it before we should not only point out the negative but also the positive. (Monday 4 August 2014; 21:23)

Optimists versus pesimists (45,796) by MimiLamb from Germany Actually critiquing each other gives an inside how it feels to be the subject of criticism, something to think about. It’s never a good feeling if somebody does that and directs it at one particular person. It’s not only about Mariah on this messageboard but also us as fans/lambs/optimists/pessimists etc. There will always be 2 groups, the pessimists and the optimists. How many times did the pessimists call the optimists delusional? Or how many times did the optimists call the pessimists goats or nonfans? It’s a never ending cycle. (Monday 4 August 2014; 14:40)

Re: Angelo from Italy and the never ending negativity from some (45,792) by MimiLamb from Germany When you are so tired of her, when you think she's so boring and isn't behaving like a singer but as an actress, than stop being a fan of hers. The acceptance speech she gave and the special shoutout to the Lambily made me happy but also very sad, a big part of her fanbase are bashing her nonstop and here she is thanking them. But ofcourse nobody is talking about that on this messageboard, only about the performance and how bad it was. It makes clear that some just look for the negative because the positive isn't even mentioned. Personally I would love for Mariah to sing live as much as she can, because enough of us do believe she's still able to do just that. But it is what it is. Either you can deal with it or you can't, simple as that. As for the negativity, it's always the same people, so as soon as I see their names I skip their messages. (Monday 4 August 2014; 14:04)

Give the woman a break before you start complaining without knowing. Second I personally don't care if the setlist has songs from 1990 until now as long as she tours WW and I'm able to see her in concert again. It's not like she does a tour every year. The Celeb Dirty Laundry article (45,645) by MimiLamb from Germany Is just awful, sorry but it seems like Nick is a prisoner and Mariah is the prison warden keeping him trapped. I mean, I think it's fair when people compare her to present Mariah, but anything during the 90's, don't even bother." Why is it unfair? If you want to compare artists you have to do it when they were the same age. I think it's highly unfair to compare Ariana's (fresh) voice in her 20's with Mariah's voice (after being in the game for 24+ years) with 44. That in my honest opinion is totally unfair. This showcases how both were when they started and shows that there is no comparison really. Ariana can sing a nice tune no doubt, but it's just not the powerhouse voice Mariah has. Overall atmosphere (45,515) by MimiLamb from Germany I visit this website on a daily basis. One because it has all the news but also to read what people think and feel. The overall atmosphere here is very negative, there is no denying there. I love reading different opinions and even criticism here and there. But there are a few that will complain with every message they put up here an go way overboard. So what do I do? I skip them and I shake those people off. It's very easy to sit behind a computer and complain and criticize. I would love for those to get the opportunity to say it to Mariah in person because I'm pretty sure they won't. And God forbid you defend Mariah than you are nothing more than delusional. People need to realize that Mariah from the 90's is not the Mariah we see now. We all change over the years. If you are not able to grow and walk this path with Mariah that's cool, just stick in the past and maybe find another artist that will give you the same feeling Mariah did in the beginning of her career. I don't agree with everything Mariah does and yes she will make mistakes but guess what? She’s human she is bound to make them. Why apologize or justify for being a human being?
