#Beautiful dance remix/Memoirs (38,455) by clueey23 from USA So I like the dance remix. Not the best but I like it because it's stripped down. The Rocky remix is on iTunes now. I can't wait to hear the hip hop mix which I would think would be the one with the resung vocals. On a side note, I love Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. I can't wait for the BET Awards. Licia / thoughts (38,442) by clueey23 from USA I am so glad to hear that she sang "4th of July" that is one of my top 5 songs by MC. Everything about that song is gorgeous, the lyrics, the music, the backgrounds, the voice. If I could have her do anything, I would want her to make more songs like that and "Underneath the stars". #Beautiful remixes/ promotion (38,435) by clueey23 from USA Okay, I've tried to stay positive about this whole thing, but would've hurt to at least slow down the tempo and strip it down for the Spanglish mix? I'm tired of hearing the original music on the remixes. MC sounded great, but the production is stale. For the first time I felt a disconnect with the song. As I've stated before A$AP wasn't the best choice. Wale, J.Cole, Drake or even older rappers like Nas or Common would've been a great addition. Here's to hoping the best is yet to come. I hope she doesn't cancel "The view" like I've read. This is becoming a ridiculous circus. We still have the BET Awards and Macy's 4th parade. It would be nice if she sang her verse on #Beautiful and meshed it with Fourth of July (one of my favorites). Or just sing something new. Yet still I feel excited for this era of new music. I still feel as though #Beautiful could reach top 5 if she just sang it. For example, on "The view". (Friday 28 June 2013; 7:19)

I'm just thinking about everything (38,415) by clueey23 from USA Okay so Nick isn't worth 100M, but I'm still like how everyone hates this remix. It's kinda sad the way folk actually think the song has peaked and it's the end of her career. It's sad. I heard the remix on the radio this morning. It sounds good on the radio. It has brought new attention to the record. If I'm reading right, the other remixes will have resung vocals. I'm excited. People nowadays just are such Debbie Downers. But I do agree that the album should've been finished before releasing #Beautiful. I agree the whole thing seems disorganized. I think back to the first album on this label, Charmbracelet, and the beginning was great promo with the MTV special and then it went left when instead of releasing "The One" they released "Boy" which at the time was so stale because that was Cam'Ron's biggest hit at the time. Fail. Then "TEOM" came, great promo and everything. And then "E=MC2" came out the gate great. And then instead of "Migrate" they released "Bye Bye" and since then everything has been in question. If she stopped making music, she wouldn't have to do a thing but raise her beautiful children and enjoy her marriage. Even she had no money. I believe Nick is worth 100M. Stop with your negativity. This is why I'm glad she wasn't all over tv doing so much promotion too soon without a finished product. MC is an artist. Favorite lead single / new album / promotion (38,356) by clueey23 from USA My favorite lead single was Touch My Body. And then came #Beautiful. Touch My Body was everything when it came out. I remember downloading the acapella just to hear all of the harmonies at the end of the song. So beautiful. And the remixes. But currently my favorite lead single is #Beautiful. I have been a fan of Miguel since 2010 when he came out with "All I want is you". He is an amazing talent. And MC is my favorite artist ever so the combination is like pure magic. #Beautiful is like classic Americana and one hell of a love song. Simply amazing. It's like understated perfection. and I've enjoyed every live performance. love the way Miguel always sings the harmony to his vocals. That summer jam performance when MC goes into her whistle register, took me back to "All in your mind" days. All I can say is we are in for a real treat with this album. The title "The art of letting go" just speaks volumes for my personal life right now. I'm so excited for these upcoming weeks and I'm glad the promo is starting right on time. Stacey (38,352) by clueey23 from USA My point is, people jump the gun on this message board more often than not. The song is almost 2 months old and the album is coming in July. There is still time for it to grow and be promoted. Along with a 2nd single. But everyone acts like she should've been all over tv on every single talk show last month. We just learned the album title, which I think sounds very deep and introspective. There is still enough time before the album comes out to do all of that. If #Beautiful didn't go top 10, I would be still just as satisfied that I actually still hear MC on the radio, because it's been a minute since we have seen her in the top 20. So constructive critism has a time. And when you jump the gun, it comes off as being negative, especially since she was still in the process of putting the album together. It's crazy that folks just can't be satisfied with what is going on regardless. #Beautiful hasn't peaked. We still have "The view", BET Awards, and the Macy's Day Parade. Not to mention, I'm sure of late night shows and other outlets of promotion. Chill out. This is her project, period. I'm excited to see her in the studio with MikeWillMadeIt and Jeezy. I think it's so cool that MC has something to promote every year with her Christmas music. Is she doing SNL on Christmas? If so, that would be a good look. Triumphant (36,629) by clueey23 from USA I don't think Triumphant should be on the album simply because I feel it was more of a promo instead of a lead single. And also the album isn't coming until the spring. But I also feel like it's a strong song that didn't get the proper promotion or video treatment. Triumphant could've been a monster. E=MC2 (36,592) by clueey23 from USA This was a great album. Great timing. Perfect first single. Touch My Body broke records and became MC's 18th #1. The first week sales were some of MC's best numbers ever. MC made a splash on SNL with TMB and Migrate with T-Pain. And then on Oprah with Bye Bye. But again, single choices messed up the rest of the era. Marriage or not. There was soo much more potential for this album. Singles should've been: 1. Touch My Body 2. Bye Bye on AC and Migrate to every other format 3. I Stay In Love 4. I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time/I'm That Chick 5. Love Story on Urban (Tuesday 23 October 2012; 16:04)

MC and The Dream/new album (36,556) by clueey23 from USA Mariah and The Dream make modern day R&B magic together. I'm a big Dream fan. Honestly, when it comes down to the problem with MC's music these days. The single choices and promotion. MOAIA could've done better had they released Ribbon and the remix. Had radio embraced HATE U remix. Had radio embraced Up Out My Face remix with Nicki. Had radio embraced Angles Cry remix with NeYo. It's never the material when it comes to MC, it's just single choices (Migrate is an example of what could've kept an album alive) and radio play and promotion. I read an article that said something about being over 40 is an issue with radio stations. For me I look at it like this. Triumphant could've been well, had they taken a different approach to promotion and feel of the record. The remixes did their thing and brought MC her 16th #1 on the Dance charts. But the original cut just needed a different approach and MC/Rick Ross/Meek Mill should've all been promoting it together. And toned down the glamour of it all, and that song could've worked because it really does have a strong message. If they would've been on the stage together at the NFL kickoff, it would've made for better promo. If MC toned down the look with maybe some jeans that night too, or keep in the same vein of what she had on earlier it would've come off better. The video was coo, but even had she went in the direction of what inspired the song on camera, it could've been magic. (Saturday 20 October 2012; 2:25)

New album (36,547) by clueey23 from USA I am looking forward to a new album from Mariah. Brandy just came out with an amazing R&B album. So I am very eager to hear what MC is gonna bring to the R&B table next year. It's so amazing to hear Whitney's tone and Mariah's tones all over this Brandy record. NFL Kickoff (36,240) by clueey23 from USA So I think Mariah should sing Triumphant vintage Remix, There's Got to Be A Way, Always Be My Baby, Can't Let Go, and Fly Like A Bird. I think this would be perfect! And Fly Like A Bird would be a great way to pay her respects to Chris Lightl,. or Twister would be even more appropriate. (Saturday 1 September 2012; 8:30)

Triumphant/Randy Jackson/Nick Cannon (36,190) by clueey23 from USA I still don't get it. Where is the promotion? I know the NFL kickoff! But really, it would have been nice to have all the artist on the track stop by 106 and Park and push it?! Or she could have did more radio promo. I love the song but the treatment for it is sooo off base. It's almost as if it didn't even get a fair chance. I hate when Nick directs MCs videos, they always come off cheesy, except for Love Story. And although the concept is nice, the flow of the video is OFF! They should have told more of a story as aposed to just posing and looking rich. Lol.
