Re: Memoirs vs Rainbow (62,061) (62,063) by Giovanni from USA
"Her voice also sounds damaged on it", yet still better than any singer today haha. You keep trying Mariah.

Re: Memoirs (62,050) (62,060) by Giovanni from USA
What do you mean you don't blame Mariah? It was her album. She could have easily said "I don't like this". I have always thought The Dream was awful. He has had no success, no artistry, no musicianship and isn't talented. I never understood why Mariah worked with him.

Memoirs vs Rainbow (62,047) by Giovanni from USA
I'm sorry but I hate "MOAIA". I hardly like any songs off the whole album and feel it is very lackluster. "Rainbow" is definitely way better. At least to me. I feel after "TEOM" Mariah's music went downhill. Which is why I think she tried to go back with "MIAM". "Beautiful" is still the best song she's released. I wonder what other amazing songs she recorded for the album we never got to hear.

Re: Taylor Swift Award? (62,035) (62,046) by Giovanni from USA
So I guess "The Emancipation Of Mimi" is the same material Mariah did in the 90's? I'm sorry but you sound very naive. If anything Mariah grew more as an artist with that album. Taking a whole new direction with her sound and music. It's obviously one of her best albums ever. Also, for you to try and compare someone like Talyor Swift to Mariah is a complete insult. Especially as in regards to her voice. As if Taylor's lyrics are so powerful and have meaning. She's very successful, but as a singer and as an artist she falls very short. Mariah never lost her voice either, it changed. Happens to every singer. Celine Dion who still sounds amazing clearly doesn't sound like 1997.

Taylor Swift (62,016) by Giovanni from USA
Is super annoying and hungry for fame. It's bad enough Billboard had a legend like Diana Ross give her that made up award last time. And now they're giving her another one. I wonder who will be presenting this one? I don't think she is worthy of any awards. She really has no talent. Her songs are silly and have no meaning. Even "Infinity" is still better than anything she's ever written. Taylor is not a real artist or real singer. I can't with Billboard, they suck.

Negativity (62,015) by Giovanni from USA
I didn't know you couldn't criticize or speak of Mariah in a negative way without being questioned if you're a real fan or not. I guess there are fans who think Mariah can do no wrong, she's perfect and doesn't make mistakes or right choices. She's done nothing wrong. Especially when it comes to her music, appearance, ensembles or showing cleavage. Maybe if Mariah made better choices and conducted herself right, the media, the haters and her fans wouldn't be so hard on her. Mariah's the best but sometimes it can be hard being a fan when you're having to consistently be defending her against your friends and to the haters. I'm not trying to back stab Mariah I'm just trying to make a point. Just because some us have a different opinion or complain about certain things doesn't mean we're not fans. We just want the best for her and want to see her be more respected and likeable.

WWHL (62,011) by Giovanni from USA
Mariah is more and likely appearing to promote her new tv series. I'll probably watch a few episodes but it's certainly not something I'm looking forward to watch.

I honestly believe (61,961) by Giovanni from USA
Mariah doesn't care about her looks, weight or appearance anymore. The ensemble she wore in L.A. was ridiculous. I don't know if she picked that out herself, or by Stella. Either way it has to go and neither be seen again. I feel that is something Lady Gaga would wear.

I hope not. I'm so over and bored with Vegas.

Sorry but I still want more number ones.

Alicia Keys (61,844) by Giovanni from USA
I'm honestly glad Alicia Keys is coming back with an album. I've been a fan since "The Dairy Of Alicia Keys". Who could ever forget the beautiful "If I ain't got you" song? She isn't the best singer but I enjoy her voice.

Re: Visuals / Lemonade (61,825) (61,831) by Giovanni from USA
And Adele's "25" sold 3.38 million copies in her first week sales. Surpassing the 1.8 million sales of Taylor Swift's "1989". "25" is the biggest selling album of 2015, and for 2016 so far. It's also the fifth album released since 2000 to spend 10 weeks at number one on Billboard. You don't even need to be an Adele fan to know whose album made a bigger impact, broke more records and sold more. She also scored a number one single with "Hello". Where is Beyonce's number one single? I'm not even crazy about "25", but it grew on me after giving it another chance. I don't have a grudge against Beyonce, I just can't stand her music and how over hyped she is.

Bring it on home (61,826) by Giovanni from USA
I wish Mariah would write some more lyrics for this song, finish it, re-record it and put on an album. It's such a great song. I pick this over "Infinity" any day.

Re: Visuals / Lemonade (61,823) (61,824) by Giovanni from USA
Because of digital sales and streaming. The album has had no impact or a number one single. And it didn't even sell a million copies. I knew Beyonce wasn't going to get even half of Adele's sales. I honestly think Adele has no real competition other than Mariah. Mariah is the queen of course.

Re: Visuals / Lemonade (61,816) (61,821) by Giovanni from USA
I thought the visuals were creepy and evil. Beyonce freaks me out with all her ridiculous hair styles, attire and lyrics. And I told you all "Lemonade" would tank. It didn't even sell 1 million copies.

Re: Rihanna (61,814) (61,820) by Giovanni from USA
I didn't say it was Rihanna's fault that Mariah can't chart no more. I was only stating facts. Rihanna is below mediocre as a singer and as an artist. Her music is terrible and she'll never be considered a legend. The only reason she and other lesser artists like Taylor and Justin have been able to chart is because of Billboard changing their rules. They now count digital sales and streaming. Before in order for an artist to get their song to number one they would have to work, promote and actually sell their singles and albums. They're are so many s*****, forgettable number ones now and days. Except for "Hello". think I am going to remember that song for the rest of my life lol. I agree with what you said about Mariah though. She needs to start covering up and release good quality music if she wants to be successful again. But let's not forget that "Beautiful" made it to the number 15. So Mariah has proven she can possibly score a number one. She needs good lyrics and good videos. "Infinity" was her weakest release and effort.

New music (61,806) by Giovanni from USA
Mariah will more and likely release a new single sometime during the summer or later on this year. I really hope her next song is huge like "Hello", or better. If a song like "Work" can make it to number one Mariah has nothing to worry about. I remember when I first heard "Don't forget about us" and found out it went to number one. I was really happy.

Rihanna (61,805) by Giovanni from USA
Will not stand the test of time. She is not a singer or an artist that would inspire or influence anyone with actual talent. She isn't even good enough to be somebody's background singer. All she has is 14 mediocre number ones that nobody will remember in 40 years. If she does surpass Mariah's record it won't matter because Mariah actually wrote, produced, promoted and worked for her music, achievements and records.

1 minute with Mariah (61,727) by Giovanni from USA
Can Mariah at least make it 5 minutes, geez.

Re: Beyonce (61,722) (61,726) by Giovanni from USA
I doubt it. And she won't even get 1/3 of Adele's numbers nor a number one song. It's been days later and "Lemonade" has already been forgotten.

Re: Beyonce (61,706) (61,718) by Giovanni from USA
No, in my opinion "Dangerously in love" is still her best album. "Lemonade" is a solid effort but it won't have any impact or top Billboard. I will never consider Beyonce a legend because she's done nothing in her music or career that would deem her a legend. She hasn't exactly big extremely successful as Mariah or even Adele. She has no huge, legendary memorable songs. I'm not trying to put her down, I'm just making a point. I want to know where is her "Ain't no mountain high enough", "I knew you were waiting (for me)", "If only you knew", "I'll never love this way again", "Ain't nobody", "I will always love you", "The best", "Vision of love", "My heart will go on". All the divas have that one huge hit song that they are remembered by.

Beyonce (61,701) by Giovanni from USA
Is desperately trying to stay relevant. I've been saying this for awhile now. She hasn't done anything great since "Dangerously in love". I also like "B'Day" but it certainly didn't top her first album. She was great with Destiny's Child but after she seemed to be on this quest to be deemed as a legend or one of the greats. But that won't happen. I feel her and her team are running out of ideas to keep her current. She won't last much longer. I mean when will she ever sell 7 million copies of an album? And no one can deny how dark she has become. Looking hella scary and creepy in her videos. I just miss the Beyonce from Destiny's Child. The woman who just sang, was humble and didn't try to be someone she's not. Sasha Fierce took over Beyonce Knowles.

Re: Vegas (61,689) (61,700) by Giovanni from USA
I hope not. I'm kinda over Vegas and wished Mariah would only focus on her next album. Are you planning on going to see her again?
