About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Re: Father's Day photos (63,615) (63,620) by RibbonB from USA
Well somebody does keep posting negative stories about him on TMZ and they claim the sources are her people. Perhaps access to his kids was when she was on tour, who knows? But overall the song didn't really take any low blows at Mariah. The song got a lot of favorable feedback that a lot of fathers and people in general could relate to. I have read that he said he was taking out his frustration at TMZ and "haters" for claiming he refused to sign for no reason. Well being concerned that his children being safe is a valid reason. It seems like since she has returned from SA they are working on those kinds of custody issues. At least he did say they are "happier than happy", until the next moment. Lol. I liked his line, When you all need something, you all call me, when I need something you all call TMZ." Zinger. And she did write Infinity about him, but she said it wasn't so he had a right to reference that. Lol.

I can't make you love me (63,614) by RibbonB from USA
I love this old Bonnie Raitt classic and Adele has a live cover that's being played on radio lately. She did a fantastic job, but she doesn't have the grit or depth that Miss Raitt has. Prince also has an amazing R&B cover of this song, which I also love. Mariah has such a unique sound with depth to her voice. I wish Mariah would really write some simple, yet classic lyrics on her next project. She has given us the hip, playful and tongue in cheek records, diss records and plenty of holiday records. I'm not looking for the 90's over again, but a mature woman who has been living life to the fullest and been through a lot could really tell some stories. I just wish she would keep the lyrics universal not such that they seem about this one or that one. Betcha Gon' Know is one of Mariah's best sung songs in a long time, but the song itself is not timeless nor universal. Has Mariah ever written in the third person before? I wonder how that would affect her songwriting or delivery.

Re: It's finally over (63,601) (63,612) by RibbonB from USA
Lol also I don't think he has actually signed yet. Other posts have indicated he is ready to sign but for others to respect the process, plus it was just a rap, not necessarily all factual. Who knows what's really real in this whole thing? So much intentional misinformation from all sides. At least they seem to be moving on from this particular tactic. On to the next phase. Lol.

Hilarious. This might be a publicity stunt.

Now this person's post is an example of someone posting their opinions as facts.

Re: Divorce Papers (63,550) (63,560) by RibbonB from USA
Dude, the comments that I made were based on the accusations people have made on this board. I didn't say any of them were facts, but the pictures and snap chats of her activities are the receipts that could be taken into court if he has to fight for joint custody. You should read more carefully before you respond flying off the handle. If, could and possibly do affect the meaning of things. So your post with all those extreme comments are what you said. My posts really have been about concern for how she could be perceived. So, while some think her partying on video is cute, I have said it could affect how she is perceived by the public or in court if it gets to that. Note the if.

Re: Divorce Papers (63,528) (63,534) by RibbonB from USA
If your kids were traveling around the world with nannies, random workers, their mother partying and filming a reality show, anyone should want to put the brakes on and make sure both parents set expectations and boundaries for their kids.

Re: Divorce Papers (63,528) (63,532) by RibbonB from USA
Her shade is not the issue, the drinking, possibly cheating with het employees while engaged could be seen as issues, not to mention lots of random people being around their children. And your comprehension is off if you think um upset about Orlando as it pertains to Mariah. I'm good with her response. Besides, custody could be joint custody. None of us know until we know. But he said he wasn't holding things up about money, but concern for his kids. That's smart. Mariah should also want to be secure about how her kids will be maintained when they are away from her on his visitation days. Custody is a two way street. Whether they should be on TV reality show should be agreed by both parents. And Marian's team has been utilizing TMZ for months now.

Re: Divorce Papers (63,516) (63,522) by RibbonB from USA
I actually like Nick's song. He seemed fair and truthful especially considering all the TMZ attacks he has been getting. I definitely appreciate his honesty about wanting his kids to be safe. Mariah's recent behavior have beef cause for concern. I hope everything plays out in the best interest of their children. He has been more quiet and reflective, while Mariah has been acting out. Let's hope that they are now in a good place to do the best for the kids either together or separate but co parenting. Anyway they keep blaming Nick but Erica and James have been in the midst of divorce for almost three years already but I bet TMZ doesn't drag her and keep her kids in the middle of the mess. It was very tack of Mariah and her camp to go to TMZ about papers, but they didn't even acknowledge his grandfather's passing. Unconditional love and cooperation is a two way street. Mariah has been very, that's too bad.

Did the little clown tweet about Orlando? Nope, no he didn't. He's probably on stage or in the studio somewhere bashing grey people right about now.

Extreme emotions (63,424) by RibbonB from USA
Nobody on this message board is Omar Mateen and people may empathize with the victims but all the emotional histrionics are nothing compared to the pain the actual victims and their families have experienced. Mariah made her statement and people will react to this kind of thing in their own way, but projecting all this anger onto Mariah is a bit much. If she said too much, too soon someone would be here bashing her for that as a negative thing. Mariah is good at music and show business and we debate those subjects forever and forever. But on this subject, if some feel she said too little or too late, at least she is not fake with sharing her feelings on sensitive subjects.

Radio comment (63,395) by RibbonB from USA
I hope when people hear her comment made on radio about Orlando, they don't bash her for not saying more. This kind of thing really is a personal matter IMO. She he a show tonight, maybe she will make a statement tonight.

Re: Yeah it sucks (63,356) (63,394) by RibbonB from USA
I love the idea of her rearranging songs. Her BG singers are good enough to stand out more and it could freshen her style. I loved the acoustic stuff she did for the E=MC2 release. Would be nice if she focused more on the songs and singing vs. the boy dancers and showgirl aspect for her Vegas shows. But I guess she is going for the glitz.

Hope (63,386) by RibbonB from USA
Well many of us feel Mariah has been on an extended tangent. Maybe a sobering event like Orlando means she and her team will rethink some of the superficial frolicking for her reality show. But whatever the reason she hasn't addressed the situation to your liking, it is her personal choice to speak on it or not. As for that children's day picture, it was already posted early Sunday morning probably before all the news of Orlando had even set in on social media.

Maybe Mariah has no words (63,385) by RibbonB from USA
I did read that she expressed her sorrow this morning on a radio interview. Last I looked Adele, Beyoncé and even Lee Daniels also have not tweeted anything about the Orlando incident. Both Adele and Beyoncé have huge gay fan bases and Lee is an openly gay man, but who knows their reasoning or what they may be feeling now. Do people want Mishka to make some silly tweet on Mariah's behalf that would further complicate things? Emotions are high, but it seems like some people are misplacing their anger towards public figures. I'm sure all their fears and paranoia, if any, are heightened by all of this, what with someone getting shot at a fan meet and greet, bombings all over the world and now another nut job, committing a terrorist act. More famous people may go into isolation, or regroup to better handle interacting with fans in this changing world. That might include public interactions and also on social media.

Licia, yeah, my 6 year old nephew is the same way. He just likes to say booty or butt in totally inappropriate ways and times. I think it's being shocking at that age. Silly boys, lol. And you're welcome Mimi L. I didn't want to make another post. It's great to see that they try to keep the kids feeling grounded and most certainly loved.

That is the best interview Mariah has given in a long time. Kudos to the interviewer. And my condolensces to the families of victims in the Orlando shootings.

He did. Lol they might need to tell Rocky to stop the boobies and butts fascination, or talk for a few years.

On a cute note (63,328) by RibbonB from USA
Monroe is a cheerleader. Nick posted some great video on his Instagram of Roc and Roe playing and talking. Roe seems like she has more rhythm than her mom, but her voice is raspy just like her mom. Roc is a freaking comedian as Mimi has said. I'm glad the kids are funloving and playful. Ah the innocence of childhood. Mariah has said that theybare not easy, but that's parenthood.

Marian's state of mind (63,260) by RibbonB from USA
Wow, just looking at past stories for this date in history section and the one dated June 12, 2015 is really interesting. Not that a psychiatrist can diagnose anyone based solely off of lyrics and videos, but her ideas are interesting. If Mariah is experiencing a manic state at this time in her life it could explain some of her recent behavior. If and I do mean if she is a bit manic, then the fall out won't go well when things flip or flop.

Re: Mariah on Snapchat (63,253) (63,256) by RibbonB from USA
Stella is still very involved with whatever they are doing. Mariah did a silly interview with Sussone promoting this new leg of the Vegas show and he kept thanking Mariah and Stella for having him in the latest "movie" they called it. I call it a stunt. Then they talked about her making him fried chicken. The funny thing is she didn't want Sussone to refer to their open secret nicknames, mulatto prince and princess because it might be misinterpreted, but she doesn't care if people misinterpret what she might be doing with two guys and brown liquor. I think they like stirring up chatter, both good and bad. It's just more of the same, but unfortunate when it's so simple to be discreet, if not appropriate.
