Mariah Carey kicked off her brand new Las Vegas residency, "The Celebration of Mimi", in seismic style last night (April 12). Housed at Dolby Live at Park MGM, the spectacular show toasts the anniversary of the legend's blockbuster 2005 album, "The Emancipation of Mimi".
Fittingly then, the diva delivered dynamite showings of beloved anthems from the LP such as "We Belong Together", "Fly Like a Bird", and "It’s Like That", as well as rarer gems like "Circles" and "Your Girl".
With a catalog as colossal as Carey's, it was a given that additional classics would be sprinkled into the set. As such, revelers were also treated to showings of "Emotions", "Honey", "Heartbreaker", and "Vision of Love".
As reported, the residency has been extended into the summer due to huge demand.
