Mariah Carey makes stage return at Gotham Hall
All set to make her grand return to the stage, Mariah Carey walked hand-in-hand with Nick Cannon inside of Gotham Hall in New York City on Thursday night (March 1). Having steered clear of concert performances since late 2010 as she and Nick welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011, the "Glitter" gal looked svelte in a black ensemble as she readied to take part in the Caesars Entertainment "Escape to Total Rewards" kick-off event.
With Sean "Diddy" Combs also joining in on the fun, Carey took the stage as planned while getting the crowd members to their feet with hot tunes such as "Shake it Off". Mimi's Gotham Hall appearance comes after she spent the earlier part of the day christening the new Disney cruise ship Fantasy at a Hudson River pier in Manhattan.
During the event, the 41-year-old got a big ovation from the crowd of onlookers as she proclaimed, "I'm a native New Yorker. I'm going to love bringing my new babies here." (Hollywood Gossip)
