Mariah furious with Nick over whiteface picture
Mariah Carey has never been more furious in all her life - and it's all down to her husband Nick Cannon. The Touch My Body hitmaker is incensed that Cannon posted a picture of himself made up in whiteface makeup to promote his upcoming album White People Party Music. Dressed as the skater boy character "Connor Smallnut", Cannon appeared in a flannel shirt, t-shirt, jeans and knit cap. "It's official, I'm white," Cannon posted alongside the pic.
He further fanned the flames with this hashtag-heavy laundry list of white stereotypes posted on Twitter: "Good credit, dog kissing, beer pong, farmer's markets, fist pumping, cream cheese eating, racial draft, bro I got drafted." Canonn was then widely criticized as "racist", "ignorant" and "hypocritical".
And to say Mariah is unhappy with her hubby actions would be an understatement, a source says. "Mariah is sick of Nick and his childish behavior," said the insider. "All hell broke loose between Mariah and Nick when he posted the picture - she told him to take it down, but he refused. Tensions are tough in the Carey-Cannon household, and Nick will not apologize." (Showbiz Spy)
