Mariah Carey celebrates 20 years of "Merry Christmas"

It's been 20 years, but the queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, still only wants one thing for Christmas! And this time, when she sings "you" she really means it. Carey has teamed up with the Fusic platform once again to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her iconic, worldwide bestselling album "Merry Christmas" by launching a special singing competition for her fans.

Mariah announced on her social channels that she will be creating a special version of the classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You", music video, and this time, through the power of Fusic's technology, her fan base of "Lambs" will be able to join her. The winner will receive a festive holiday gift pack personally signed by MC herself.

Soon after Mariah Carey launched the #MC20 Fusic contest, hundreds of Fuse videos were made within hours and spread throughout all social media channels, creating a big viral impact. "We are honored that an icon like Mariah Carey chose to connect with her fans through Fusic," said Fusic CEO Liat Sade-Sternberg. "With Mariah Carey's support, Fusic has become the hottest trend in fan interaction and we've only just begun."

The outpouring of fan-love that Mariah Carey received follows a long list of stars that have chosen Fusic to interact with fans like Alicia Keys, Nicole Scherzinger, Jason Derulo and many more. Other artists and record labels are lining up to launch similar fan contests in the coming months.
