Diva diving back in
Mariah Carey's imminent comeback and re-invention may not involve music alone. A new album with her new label, Island, is slated for a December 10 release, but there's also talk of Carey dipping her feet back in the treacherous acting waters that helped precipitate her breakdown last year.
Although Carey was universally panned for her performance in the movie Glitter - which is fast achieving cult status because it's sooooo bad - the BBC is reportedly courting the singer for a huge role in a new TV series.
