Recap on "What Would You Do"

In addition to "Through The Rain" not appearing on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales chart, "What Would You Do" does not appear on the main R&B singles chart this week. It may be premature to say that its run is over as the song could re-enter the chart. Nevertheless let's look back on this redux of Glitter's "If We".

"What Would You Do" first debuted on the Billboard charts back in the fall of 2003. It debuted at #14 on the Bubbling Under Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart for the week ending October 11, 2003. After going up and down the chart for about two months the song finally reached #1 on this chart for the week ending December 13. One week later it had debuted on both the main R&B singles chart and the R&B airplay chart at #70. For a while it seemed like this would be the peak for the song as it fell down the chart. However in late January it rebounded to #57 on both the main R&B singles chart and the R&B airplay chart. "What Would You Do" spent a total of fifteen weeks on the main R&B singles chart but only six weeks on the R&B airplay chart.

The Remixes maintains its standing on the Top Electronic Albums chart with its #12 position. The album has now spent a total of 23 weeks on the chart. "Through The Rain" is still going strong on the dance sales chart with a #18 standing. As previously reported at The Mariah Network, "U Like This" is now at #38 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. However the song loses its bullet in only its third week which possibly means that it has already peaked.
